L’ostello si trova a 10 minuti dal centro, in un quartiere tranquillo e ben servito con supermercati, pasticcerie, panifici e tutto il necessario per cucinare nella loro cucina, che è disponibile gratuitamente. L’aria condizionata funziona benissimo, così come il frigorifero. Molto soddisfatta. Grazie mille per l’ospitalità!

• Guest (10/5): Ogni volta che vengo a Tirana, scelgo sempre il Sonche Hostel (: - È un posto molto pulito, il letto è comodissimo, c’è luce e una presa per caricare il telefono proprio accanto — un dettaglio che non ho trovato in altri posti. Il proprietario dell’ostello è una persona davvero gentile, mi tiene sempre le valigie dopo il check-out senza chiedere nulla in cambio. Questa volta ho notato che alcuni ospiti chiedevano di dormire gratis in cambio di una recensione su Booking, e devo dire che sono rimasto molto sorpreso. Secondo me, questo ostello merita una valutazione molto più alta di quella che ha attualmente.
• Ardit (3/5): Terribile e da evitare - Il prezzo Tutto il resto: la persona dello staff designata all'accoglienza l'ho trovata che fumava nel corridoio delle scale prima dell'ingresso nella struttura (cosa che ha perpetrato anche le volte successive), informazioni fornite con il contagocce come se mi stesse facendo un favore, è entrato due volte in camera con il telefono al massimo del volume. Il bagno era in condizioni igieniche non accettabili, la struttura del letto in ferro cigolava ad ogni singolo movimento, il lenzuolo dato era invernale dando il classico "piacere" del se mi copro ho caldo, se non mi copro è troppo fresco, la camera era da sei invece che da quattro come da prenotazioni. Chicca finale: booking mi contatta il giorno seguente perché la struttura mi ha notificato un no-show, insomma da evitare.

• Anonymous (10/5): BEST HOSTEL IN TIRANA - This hostel is the best place I’ve stayed at in Tirana. The owner waited for me until 4 AM and opened the door automatically as soon as I arrived – that was amazing! The hostel is cleaned daily, even though some guests don’t keep things tidy… maybe they confuse it with a hotel, who knows? 😅 I didn’t like that some people smoked inside the room, even though there’s a designated area for smoking outside – but that’s not the hostel’s fault, it’s just some guests being irresponsible. Overall, I had a great time! The Wi-Fi is super fast, the air conditioning works better than at my own house 😂, and the kitchen is free to use. Best of all, it’s just 10 minutes away from the city center. I’ll definitely recommend this place to others!
• Charles (5/5): OK if you don't mind waiting to be let in every time and don't want to cook - The beds were fairly new and comfortable. I had 4 bed room to myself due to lack of customers. Had to ring bell and wait for owner to open door every time I arrived. The owner came about 9pm every day to collect money and take away rubbish if the bin was overflowing. There was no cleaning done or sheets changed while I was there. I picked a bed that looked like the sheets hadn't been used before. There is only 1 bathroom. This would be a problem if it's busy. The kitchen is a narrow space with no room for more than 1person. The cooker is a press button type that can be impossible to work out if you haven't seen one before and not all elements worked. No kettle or microwave and the usual lack of cutlery.
• Alban (9/5): A great hostel to crash when in transit or visiting Tirana - Excellent location, great communication, very clean and comfortable bed 🛏️ with AC, I'd highly recommend it. Please make sure to leave a pair of slippers in the bathroom 🙏

• Hasan (1/5): Bad - Room was generally clean. Nothing else was worth liking The owner doesn't give you a key to main gate and he has a remote call system installed at the gate. Every time you come back to hostel after going out You have to press the call button at gate and he opens the gate from his mobile phone. He takes alot of time to open it. It was very frustrating to wait outside because you don't have a key. Also bathroom is not in a very good condition and there is only one shower and toilet combined for so many people.. Not recommended from my side.

• Elman (9/5): A sleepover at a perfect location 😇 - I had to check in at 2 am and leave later. The owner was super nice to me He also helped with me a bus to Vlore. The location is right next to main street (shops, restaurants, haircut, and such)
• Tuan (8/5): Pleasant stay in Tirana - Basically I was satisfied with my stay. The owner was friendly. Beds were clean and comfortable so I slept very well. The location is good, easy to walk to the city center. Toilet was small and smelly sometimes, but it was not a big deal.

• Scott (2/5): Cheap and Nasty - Location only The beds were not cleaned properly. Instead of changing the bed sheets, the beds were simply remade. During my time there the toilet was not cleaned once to my knowledge. Beds were comfortable but also very, very squeaky. The road outside is also very loud in the morning.
• Canem (8/5): Great budget/benefit optimisation. - I liked the way i felt in a private home instead of a hostel. And it is close to the center in a quite street, so best budget option to stay. Helpful staff, always available on call. Kitchen facilities were satisfying. The beds were squeaky and the socialing area was too small, and people were smoking there instead of the terrace they could go up, and the small hallway to the room you walk through a cloud of smoke if there were many smokers socialising. So maybe a dont smoke label in the common area would be good. Also curtains for the beds would be a positive asset. And dear travellers, keep in mind that people make the places beautiful, if you are kind and clean, the hostel stay feels great. If you are stinky and leave the bathroom dirty, you make the stay bad not the hostel!

• David (10/5): Exceptional - I liked it so much I won't go anywhere else. No kidding. The value is out of site. Location great, 100% clean!! Tons of hot water. The best part is where the magic happens at the little table in the lobby. Sit there and you'll see. Ty The view is just of the neighborhood around. It's just like most hostels but the value is inside. That's what counts
• David (10/5): Alert! Read this review - Two things. The tourist hustle and owner. Tired of being hustled like a tourist? No hustle here. You won't pay for a breakfast you may not eat because maybe you sleep in and miss it, or maybe it's cheerios and and no bar on property to keep you from your adventure. The owner is a hero. Not a superhero like a cartoon or a war hero like a soldier, but to those around him that pass through his hostel. I would have been my honor to have him as a neighbor in Texas. I want to keep my clothes drier while taking a shower

• Wing (8/5): Very good - It was a small standalone building, clean enough. The owner tried hard to satisfy our needs. The fridge was nice and clean. The address was wrong. It led me to a building site. Finally a local person called on my behalf and even escorted me to the hostel, which was at least a good 10 minutes walk from where the given address. There was only one toilet cum bathroom for the entire hostel. The beds were new but made of metal with squeaky springs so it made a noise every time I sat on it, disturbing others
• Priscila (6/5): Fair price - Francesco, the staff is very kind and kind. Helped me with tips of the places and about the accommodation. The hostel is well located, close to many restaurants and has a metro right in front. Close to a bus stop and taxis, for those who like to walk, it is less than 1km from the center. The rooms are clean, the kitchen too. The price is also right. The bathroom doesn't have a shower stall, so you take a shower and wet everything, then you have to dry it. I also felt the need for a better organization regarding the collection of daily rates. Yesterday I was asleep and a stranger (I think friend of the owner) came into the rooms screaming for a man's name. It was 8:30 a.m., me and other guests woke up scared and didn't understand anything because he didn't speak English. Then we went to understand what it was about, he needs to receive the guest's daily rates, since he is paid in person. I think it would be better to have a control on the arrival of the guest, at a reception. That was uncomfortable. But otherwise, that's all right.

• Lee (4/5): Not an enjoyable place to stay - Close enough to places of interest. Wifi & air condition work well. The Host only present when there's payment to be collected. Basically He didn't put in much efforts to manage the business. Only 1 toilet/bathroom to serve 10 guests/beds and it was small and untidy. Kitchen was narrow and untidy too. Microwave oven was unavailable. It's RIDICULOUS to use 40cm thick mattress! I was at lower bed and the gap was less than 1 meter, always knock my head against the metal bed frame. No one could sit on the bed and there was no chair/stool in the room. There was a self made simple "sofa" set outside but unable to sit too long as weather was cold. I was disturbed for both nights because of Albanian room guests talked loudly in the premises. I noticed the local people here are generally rude and inconsiderate. I didn't enjoy my stay.

The hostel have a kitchen when you can cook for free. The owner is more than an owner. He did his best during my staying to be sure that i was having a nice time.

The rooms were clean and comfy, and the common areas had a cozy and welcoming vibe. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and public transportation. • Salem (1/5): Bad - It’s Near center There was a stranger saying that he was sick and he had no clothes or a towel. He used my towel and I was very upset because I wanted to go to the shower, but after he used my towel I could not. I called the owner of the place and told him and I told him that I was upset and he told me I would give you a towel, but it was... He is trying to make this person stay in the place. The person even made the bathroom unclean and there were leftover food in the entrance to the hostel. When I told the owner of the place that I would put this situation in the comment, he changed his mind and told me that I will not give you a towel if you want to put this in the comments and do what you want, so I did. Complain to booking.com customer service

• Laurens (2/5): Very poor - The Hostel is near the center so the location is good and good working aircon. There is no reception, you have to call each time you want to go in. No towels or anything and hygiene is very average. Also the owner notified booking that i never checked in which i did, i even payed by creditcard. The owner of the hostel next door collected the payment. Even overcharged me and made me pay 25% more.

• Marianne (8/5): New and quiet - Reeeally comfortable beds and good a/c! Nicely located too, walking distance to the bus station and the main square. There's also a supermarket right in front of it. If youre looking to socialize, it may not be the best place but at least youre guaranteed of a good night's sleep! Theres a kitchen but no fridge. Eating out is not expensive though!

My room was clean and comfortable, the beds were quite comfortable. The price-performance ratio is also quite good, a place I would definitely consider staying again. Thanks Paul! Kitchen options can be increased a little more. For example, a microwave oven, stovetop and a small refrigerator can be added. Other than that everything is great.

• Luka (1/5): Bad - They let mi in and then noone arrived to give me card so I can leave my room, after 30 min I called them to come and they said that they would come to give me card in next 2 minutes, another 30 minutes gone by and noone arrived so I just left. Wouldnt recomend this to anyone.
