Guest Reviews
- Jose Fernando (10/5): - La ubicación
- Silvia (10/5): - Super recomendado.!!.
- Paolo (10/5): - Super kind and helpful host. Pictures and other reviews are accurate. Very nice location and grounds. We stayed in smaller cabin that had great view of Cerro Lopez and was only one minute walk from lake shore, where you can see a great sunrise. Yes, it's a 30-45 minute drive from downtown Bariloche, but if you're not into crowds and traffic jams, it was a perfect location for us... Basically right next to Circuito Chico, which has a lot of the nature-oriented attractions in the area. It was also great to have breakfast brought to our cabin each morning. Highly recommended.
- Simón (10/5): Excelente cabaña c vista al lago - Excelente cabaña!!!! Todo hermoso! Matias muy amable y dispuesto a colaborar! 100% recomendable!
- Rordriguez (9/5): - El lugar la cabaña todo
- Jeffrey (10/5): Beautiful & Relaxing - This place was amazing. It was private, peaceful and beautiful. Our family stayed here six nights, our entire stay in northern patagonia, and we do not regret any of it! It was beautiful, the cabin was amazing, it had charming nighttime lights, there was private access to the lake, and there were three nice dogs and backyard chickens. Matias the owner was very communicative, very helpful and spoke English fluently. He was very thoughtful and set up a pak-n-play for our 1.5-year old before we got there (without us asking!). Matias = amazing.
It was also on the good-outside of Barlioche, near the hiking and the viewpoints and the biking circuit. It is very easy to get to Bariloche and the other beautiful things, but you can come back and relax.
The breakfast was brought to our cabin every morning between 830-9am. It included lots of fresh chopped fruit (kiwi, pineapple, oranges etc), breads, jam, coffee & tea. We did supplement with our own cheese and bacon (...americans US).
It is an excellent place to see the stars and Southern constellations. Orion was upside down, and we saw him rise over the lake. Very charming.
Very nice place to just hang out. One morning we just chilled until 2pm. The place was very comfortable to hang out at night. If we ever visit northern patagonia again, we will definitely come back to this place.
Thank you Matias!! I liked everything!
This is just an FYI for visitors, especially from the usa!
-getting a physical SIM Card in Argentina is odd because of regulations. We weren't able to get one until we were able to get to a Claro store in Barlioche. If you don't have an international SIM card, or an eSIM, make sure that you contact the hotel before you leave airport wifi so that you can get instructions.
-Argentina has some special circumstances affecting its economic system. Make sure you do research before you go. Note that the vast majority of vendors in the Bariloche area did take credit/debit cards.
- Gonzalo (8/5): Quiet getaway from a busy tourist place - The cottage is located inside a private terrain, within a few steps from it you can reach the lake. This is perfect for people that want a quiet stay away from noise and tourism.
The host was super sweet and kind, she handed over the keys to us and gave us a tour around the place.
The cottage had plenty of space for us and we felt very comfortable.
The location is beautiful, very close to Colonia Suiza, and some Kms away from the city center. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the breakfast. Every morning the host brings in a basket with freshly baked bread and scones, some fruit, coffee, milk and spreads.
This is a super sweet approach to it, but more than once we felt a bit short.
- Svetlana (10/5): Exceptional - Our cabana was beautiful, spacious and full of light with great views on the surrounding mountains. The breakfast was very tasty. Mercedes brought it to the cabana every morning. In the evenings rabbits came to the yard in front of the cabana. The place itself is very calm and charming yet it's a walking distance along the coast to the Colonia Suiza where you can find restaurants, local shops and playground. We spent the great time there. I wish we could have stayed there longer. Thank you!;)
