• Novica (6/5): - Very good breakfast. Location. Good price. Very small and crowded rooms with frontal entry to beds. Very small toilets, 1m2 spaces crammed with toilet and sink, so when you wash your face, you inevitably spill some water on the floor, and then stand in that puddles.... very uncomfortable. The hostel simply does deserve high 7.8 score. It should be more like 5-6. The redeeming factor is very good breakfast, so I could give 6, but no more.
• marlon (6/5): Good location - Location and accessibility to food and metros I was surprised by a knock on my door letting me know that the floor in the bathroom was wet. I however managed to sweep off as much water as I can to make sure it isn't too wet after I took a shower. In my opinion and if I may suggest , the bathroom should have a bath math to ensure this doesn't happen.

• Willow (1/5): UNSAFE! WOMEN BE WARNED. - Had my boyfriend not been with me, I am scared of what would have happened if I was alone. The owner is a lier, scammer and began aggressively screaming at me after I asked for a refund for the nights we could not stay there due to the inaccurate room listing and horrific amount of black mold. When we arrived, we were told we would have to be charged a 10% “tax” for paying with a card, which was not stated anywhere in the listing. We showed up late after a 15 hour travel day, so we just ate it after unsuccessfully pushing back on it a bit. We later did our research to discover service fees are illegal in turkey and is a common scam. “Tourist tax” and VAT were clearly stated and added to my reservation in booking.com. It is also illegal for them to charge us extra for the room upon arrival via booking.com terms and conditions. They also took my receipt and threw it away when I provided it for the refund and refused to give it back. The transaction on my bank statement is run under a restaurant name that is no longer in business. We received legal advice from a lawyer in turkey and were told this is common illegal tax avoidance/ tax fraud that this business is committing. And encouraged us to call the police. This place is a dump. The photos on booking.com are a complete misrepresentation of the hostel. The entire building reeked of cigarette smoke and mold. The sheets were disgusting and too small for the mattress with large stains and so thin you could see the mattress underneath them. The floors and ceiling in our room were bubbling from improperly contained water damage. The floors were unfinished with busted trim everywhere. There were two shared bathrooms on our floor. One had black mold covering the ceiling. The other had been renovated, although the reality is they simply slapped tiles over the mold. This second bathroom also didn't have functioning blinds (they were completely destroyed), so neighbors across the street could see right in.

В стороне от многолюдной улицы, но все равно шумно, громкие люди, машины, дверь часто открыта и все звуки с кухни попадают в комнату. В общем пространстве бывает слишком накурено. • Marcela (4/5): The photos do not match reality - I arrived at 9 a.m., and they gave me the bed immediately. That is good. In the photos, the place looks completely different from reality. It was difficult to find because it’s not easy to identify, it’s basically a house with a very small and barely visible sign. The place is quite neglected, with broken and dirty furniture. The bathroom was terribly dirty, and it’s obvious that the cleaning is only superficial. The terrace was also dirty and poorly maintained, just like the kitchen and all the common areas from the entrance onward. There was very poor lighting, very dirty walls, and damaged furniture throughout. Overall, the experience was not what I expected based on the photos and description.

Від автобусної станції, де прибуває транспорт з аеропорту, треба йти 15хв до хостелу, дуже зручно. В одному душі занадто багато грибка на стелі, а в іншому варто замінити штору, бо через поламані жалюзі - все видно сусідньому будинку і кафе Але хостел має декілька поверхів, тому думаю в кожного свої мінуси

• Jay-Ell (6/5): - Good location, breakfast is so so. In the dorm there is a gap between the bed partitions so if your neighbour puts their light on it shines in your bed. Also if the no smoking policy is not enforced in the main area then smoke blows into the dorm. Mould is coming back on the shower ceilings as there is no extractor fan. The cleaner needs to invest in some anti mould spray and actually clean it properly. Water pressure and heat can vary. There is also no noise policy for the night so people stay up making noise until late, which can be annoying if you are on the same floor dorm.

У нас был номер на двоих, в принципе было комфортно спать, ночью не шумно, санузел на этаже, очередей не было всем места хватало. Завтрак у нас был один, мы его не особо поняли. Месторасположение прекрасное, в тихом переулке. Персонал вежливый Чистоту в общих зонах, в одной из душевых зон плохо работал слив.

El personal es muy amable y servicial, ofreciendo un excelente servicio al cliente con una atención rápida y eficiente. Además, la ubicación del hotel es perfecta, ya que está en el centro de la ciudad y cerca del centro principal, con fácil acceso a los lugares turísticos. El nivel de seguridad es alto, con cámaras de vigilancia que cubren todo el lugar y control de acceso para la entrada y salida por la puerta principal. También, el hotel ofrece bebidas calientes como té y café, además de agua fría y caliente de forma gratuita para los huéspedes. Recomendaría este hotel a cualquiera que visite la zona, y sin duda volvería a hospedarme aquí. Como jordano, me siento orgulloso de tener lugares como este en mi país.

The staff are a gang. When they take your money, they make up excuses to kick you out. Don't give them money beforehand. There's an Uzbek woman who causes trouble in the girls' room, which has six beds. She's a thief and steals the girls' things and starts fights. She never leaves the hostel. She's always watching and telling the staff everything you do and makes up lies as soon as she feels jealous of you. She's very racist, and the rest of the staff don't like foreigners either. They only pretend to be that way to get money, and then they treat you in a racist way.

• Klaus (7/5): Gut - Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist gut. Das kostenlose Frühstück ist ausreichend. Nur 300 m zur Metro Taksim,mit der man beide Flughäfen erreicht. Zur Hagia Sophia sind es ca. 7 km/ 1 h zu Fuß. Nette Leute. Personal ok. Im Haus sind auch Zimmer mit vier Betten und so weiter,von denen Leuten habe ich nur gutes gehört. Wenn man nicht viel erwartet, ist dieses Hostel okay. Bei 8° Außentemperatur hat es sehr durch das Fenster hereingezogen, so dass ich mir noch eine Decke geben lies. Ich hatte ein Bett im 10-Bett-Dorm. Ständig wurden die Plätze durch fremde Leute belegt, die immer zum Essen gekommen sind. Ich dachte eigentlich, das Hostel ist für die Bewohner.

• Mekelanj (10/5): - I had a very pleasant stay at this hostel. The owner is kind and welcoming, and the staff are extremely polite and helpful. The location is excellent, very close to Taksim Street, which makes it easy to explore the area. The hostel feels safe and well managed. The kitchen is well equipped, and the breakfast is very good. • Elisabeth (4/5): Ok for one night (lower your expectations) - I guess it was cheap and well connected to public transport. - hard to find from the outside -overall dark and dungeonesque vibe. The pictures really don’t reflect what it looks like - The doors to the dorm could not be locked - I rented a 4 bedroom girls dorm and it was a 6-bed dorm. I dont understand why this wasnt disclosed. It would not have been an issue for me. - Showers/facilities were smelly and appliances rusty - renovations in the room next door (private room) were noisy. I feel like what work is being done to uphold the hostel is being put into the private rooms, as they are more profitable - Furniture was extremely worn down (see images from the common room). Blankets were very thin and the mattress was past its prime - Breakfast was very modest - Staff was barely english-speaking
• Veronika (1/5): Stay away from this place - Location is great The worth place I ve ever met. I booked a private room few weeks before arrival texting the place about early check in. When arriving at 11.30 am there was a problem (thanks god) with paying with a card and the reception guy said that my room is still busy as previous guest asked for late check out. Strange but ok. There was also an option offered to stay in a dormitory, I declined. We left our bags and came back at around 11 pm. First we were waiting for a half sleepy reception guy for a while, then we were waiting for something for next 15 minutes and no one spoke with us (they spoke Turkish to each other), finally they said that they still have the same problem, as !!usually!! when such situation happens they offer next door hotel but this time it’s fully booked! So thanks good we managed to book smth else not far! And receptionist said smth like it’s not his fault. Hostel is dirty, disgusting smell of spoiled food at the reception. Reception is a kitchen at the same time, they cook there with dirty hands while making other things (like calling, going somewhere) without washing hands before. Thanks god I didn’t have breakfast there. Wi fi is weak. There was a feeling that reception guy and few guests were under the drugs. The only problem is location, that’s all. I didn’t see the rooms, having been only on reception area.

• Violetta (4/5): Не очень - Персонал отличный , есть завтрак Никаких дверей, очень небезопасно, ночью очень замерзла, и даже укрывалась своей верхней одеждой от холода. Мыла нормального в душе нет, какой-то кусок мыла лежит. За завтрак спасибо и персонал хороший
• Alexey (8/5): - Персонал хорший, отзывчивый. После брони сразу написали что это не отель, а хостел. Снимали комнату в этом хостеле в феврале, очень было тепло и уютно, только ночью немного шумно, но не мешает спать. Хороший и достойный завтрак подают. Были вопросы и непонимания, персонал помог все разрешить, спасибо за это. Были люди кто говорит по русски, это тоже помогло при заселении. Желаю развития дальнейшего этому хостелу. Большие молодцы, по тихонько делают ремонт и улучшают свой хостел. Шумоизоляцию на окнах получше.

• Thi Uyen Nhi (10/5): Definitely worth the price - The location is very good. Breakfast was soooo amazing, totally did not expect this level of service. Staff were so nice and helpful. They even provide a towel, stored my friend’s luggages while she went to Cappadocia for a few days so she didn’t have to carry everything with her. Thank you so much I got bed bugs from this place. The water on the tap was cold so have to wash face and hands from the shower otherwise get freezing. However, with the price itself, this is 100% acceptable, but just to take note when booking.

One can hear everything that takes place in the common area * In the "6 bed" dormitory room that I booked, there were 8 or even 10 beds (definitely more than 6). All the people in the room were nice. However, I do not understand the reason not to name this room in accordance with the real number of beds * According to the specific construction of showers, some water is supposed to always go on the floor in the corridor
