• Ines (10/5): - Um dos melhores locais onde fiquei alojada na Argentina, principalmente devido à família que cuida do Hostel. O Hostel é simples mas cumpre com todas as necessidades. Os quartos são confortáveis e tem um pequeno armário, os balneários são espaçosos, com água quente e cada cabine têm imensos cabides para pendurar tudo. A cozinha é grande e tem imensos utensílios. Às vezes tem muita gente a cozinhar ao mesmo tempo mas faz parte e pode ser uma óptima oportunidade de conhecer outros viajantes. Enquanto lá estive cada um tinha uma caixa para guardar as suas coisas na cozinha, o que deixava tudo mais organizado. A limpeza esteve sempre impecável. O Hostel apesar de não ficar na avenida principal está perto de restaurantes, cafés e do supermercado. Também é fácil acessar às trilhar a partir daqui. O melhor desta estadia foram os funcionários, sempre muito queridos e simpáticos, gostam de conversar e saber como estão a ser os nossos dias. Deram-me sempre muitas informações e acederam a tudo o que foi preciso. 10 de 10!

• Charlotte (5/5): - Hostel au cœur de El Chalten, pratique et bien pensé pour les voyageurs. La propriétaire est très accueillante et les femmes de ménage nettoient plusieurs fois par jour. C'est indépendant de l'hostel mais pendant notre séjour d'une semaine nous avons partagé les parties communes (cuisine et SDB) avec des voyageurs très peu consciencieux de la vie en communauté : aucun rangement ni nettoyage après avoir cuisiné ou mangé, très bruyants jusqu'à tard dans la nuit (6h du matin) et ce plusieurs fois dans la semaine. Un rythme tout à fait en décalage de ceux qui viennent pour profiter des randonnées la journée. C'est assez loin de l'ambiance refuge de village de montagne qu'on cherchait mais j'imagine que ça dépend de la fréquentation et que nous n'avons pas eu de chance.

• Soledad (10/5): Muy bueno - Llegué al Chalten y Mauro (quien estaba en la recepción), me ayudó con los caminos, el clima y que debía tener en cuenta para ir a los diferentes trekkings. El hostel siempre estaba limpio. La cocina es super completa. Y las demás personas que trabajaban allí y fui cruzando siempre fueron super amables.

Volvería! - Las chicas de la recepción/administración tienen muy buena energía (vital para quien está viajando), atendieron a cada demanda, tanto de servicios como de información con muy buena predispocisión. Las habitaciones compartidas tienen lockers, son espaciosas y tienen ventanas (también importate, dada las particularidades de otros hostels del chaltén).

• Ricardo (10/5): - Me encantó hospedarme en este hostel. Está muy bien ubicado, es muy lindo, acogedor y todo está muy organizado. Se nota mucho el cuidado en cada detalle. Pero lo que más me llamó la atención fue el trato del personal. Parece un negocio familiar, y todos fueron extremadamente amables, atentos y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Quiero destacar especialmente a Nahuel, que fue muy atento y servicial conmigo en todo momento. Hizo que mi experiencia fuera aún más especial. Sin duda recomendo!

They didn’t change the sheets after a set of guests left and when confronted their excuse was “they’ve - Location was very centric, affordable groceries nearby, nice views from the upper dining area. Did not feel clean at all. I literally saw them not change the sheets after a set of guests left, shower curtains were disgustingly dirty, there was little to no toilet paper every time.

• Beata (10/5): Rodzinna atmosfera, bardzo czysto. Pomocni właściciele. Polecam na krótki i dłuższy pobyt. - Spędziłam w Hotelu Familia de Campo piękny czas. Hostel jest prowadzony przez rodzinę, przez co panuje w nim rodzinna atmosfera. Cały dzień hostel jest sprzątany, dlatego jest w nim bardzo czysto, widziałam jak syn właścicielki czyścił podłogi jak wszyscy spali o 2 w nocy. Właściciele są pomocni, sprawdzają pogodę w górach, pomagają logistycznie ułożyć plan. Pożyczyli mi kijki na trekking i adapter do gniazdka. Część wspólna sprzyja integracji, dlatego łatwo poznać innych solo travelers. Polecam z całego serca❤️
• MaxLee (9/5): Soziales Hostel mit allem was es braucht 👍 - Grosses Hostel mit vielen öffentlichen Räumlichkeiten. Man kommt gut ins Gespräch mit anderen Travelers. Lage ist super aber El Chaltén ist ja auch klein. Der Preis ist trotzdem hoch für ein Hostel aber El Chaltén ist auch eines der teuersten Gegend in Argentinien. Die Hikes zum Cerro Torre und Cerro FitzRoy sind der Wahnsinn 🤪 Bei schönem Wetter atemberaubend 👍 Der Preis

• Felix Thomas (2/5): Nicht zu empfehlen. - Die Lage ist OK, unsere Mitbewohner im 4er Zimmer waren sehr nett. Das Zimmer und Bett waren sauber. Warme Duschen. Allgemein bedarf es dem Hostel an deutlich mehr Pflege, was den überhöhten Preis in einem 4er Zimmer fragwürdiger erscheinen lässt, als sowieso schon. Vor allem die Toiletten im Damenbereich waren leider immer wieder aufgrund fehlerhafter Spülung mit den Hinterlassenschaften anderer Menschen versehen. Im Herrenbereich wackelten die beiden Toiletten. Die Zimmertür ließ sich nicht richtig schließen. Die Ruhezeiten werden nicht beachtet und die Ausstattung der Küche, insbesondere der Pfannen, Töpfe und Lappen, bedarf dringend Erneuerung.

• Raimonda (5/5): - Location is good, very central, the hostel is big and has 2 big, well equipped kitchens. The design. The big kitchen on the second floor is for those who stay in the ground floor - so everything is really cooking there, and because the rooms are next to the kitchen there's a lot of noise. Maybe coincidence but during my 4-night stay there seemed to be a lot of guests from one country in the middle east, and it may be their culture but they were all very loud and not respecting other guests' peace (not using headsets when talking on the phone, no lower voice at night, even if there is a silence policy after 11pm, they wouldn't reduce the sound. Considering that some of us needed to go to sleep early for sunrise hikes, it was very bothersome and ruined my mood every single day

The hostel's central location makes it easy to access hikes in all directions on foot. The atmosphere was inviting and perfect for meeting fellow travelers. There were no towels in the bathroom to dry your hands.

• Justine (6/5): - Ils ont gentiment accepté d'écourter notre séjour et de nous rembourser. Pas de rideau sur les lits. Très cher pour des lits en dortoirs. Auberge avec une trop grande capacité d'accueil donc les parties communes sont bondées a toute heure, ce qui a rendu notre séjour vraiment désagréable. Nous avont préféré partir plus tôt que prévu.

A la cocina quizás le faltaban utensilios como sartenes o cacerolas algo más nuevas, pero en líneas generales estaba bastante bien.

There were power points everywhere, they were flexible with the check-out time even though I didn't ask to be late. There were no privacte curtains in the bunk bed. I was with boys so I felt less comfortable. The dish soap and hand soap did not clean properly. It was difficult to lock the lockers.

• Christopher (10/5): Homely and helpful base for trekking. Fabian is a superstar host who is very approachable - Fabián and his family made me feel very welcome. In early oct quite quiet and luckily was alone in the dorm. Immediately arranged a taxi for me and another solo traveller to Rio electrico for a better route to Lago de los tres. Kitchen is well equipped and everything felt very homely. Even watched Argentina play football with Fabián one evening. Would stay again for sure! When the hostel started to fill up, the kitchen could become quite crowded.
