Very cosy. Not at all social if that's what you're looking for. Much more like a hotel rather than a hostel. No real socialising area.

Des dizaines d’enfants étaient présents en même temps que nous dans l'établissement (sortie scolaire). Du coup, la salle de bain et les toilettes étaient très sales, c’était très bruyant, et il n’y avait pas assez de place et d'ustensiles pour nous dans la cuisine.

• Sandra (9/5): Fair review of good hostel - Kindness and responsiveness of the personel, spacious joint kitchen, exceptional cleanness of the room, especially bathroom and bed sheets, great organisation and hostel management, proximity of the bus station and supermarket. Very good friendly place I personally recommend. Only thing that we really had problem with were very soft, uncomfortable mattresses that need to be replaced urgently. And it gets really cold during the night after heating is off. Overall, night rest is not good because of these 2 things and it's really shame because hostel itself has so much advantages. Also, wifi is up and down, not consistent.

Staff super nice :) Location perfect for us, in the middle between center and bus terminal. Kitchen could be equipped better (e.g. more plates, more bowls, more cuttlery) and be cleaned better. Also the sponge for dishwashing or the cloth for cleaning the table looked old/disgusting and could be renewed more often.

• Perry (8/5): Prima appartement met hoogteverschil t.o.v. het centrum - Het appartement was rustig gelegen in aparte laagbouw met 3 appartementen. Veel privacy. Prima bedden. Mogelijkheid om tegen betaling te ontbijten. Ontbijtruime was in het naastgelegen gebouw. Busstation is op loopafstand. De afstand tot het centrum was door het hoogteverschil niet echt prettig. De ontvangst was kortaf en niet vriendelijk. Eigenlijk pas op de laatste dag was het personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
• Chiara (10/5): Great and convenient hostel to stay - would and will stay again! - Staff are wonderful and friendly, it's close to town to walk and we had a gorgeous room with our own kitchen and bathroom which felt like a huge bonus given how expensive El Calafate is. Our apartment was spacious, clean and we're looking forward to staying again when we get back from El Chaten!
• Uroš (8/5): - We liked the receptionist guy. He told us everything we needed to know. The location is also great. Just a few minutes away from the town and 1.5km from the main Bus Station. Bed was also very cozy and comfortable. Very good for short stop overs. The kitchen is located separetly from the hostel. You have to go out, and at the evenings and mornings was also very busy with guests and it was hard to cook something.

• LEDUC BORIS (4/5): Just young people can stand night noises because of the road with such intensity. - The people who welcomed us were really very nice and helpfull. Thank to the personn at the entrance. The hotel is located on a very very very noisy neighborhood. The road in front of the hotel is terrible especially if the bedroom is on that side. Cars, trucks and motorbikes are driving all night long making a lot of noise. It's terrible.

Mas o pior de tudo foi o constrangimento que passamos na hora do café, já tínhamos pegado algumas coisas quando uma moça nos abordou falando que não tínhamos direito do café, que se quiséssemos tomar tínhamos que pagar 15000 pesos por pessoa. Sendo que quando fiz a reserva a informação que tinha café da manhã já constava no anúncio, atendimento péssimo realmente foi muito decepcionante.

The hostel is super close to the supermarket (which is has reasonable prices) and the shared kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The hostel is also close to the bus station so the location is simply ideal.

It felt like a Guest House rather than a hostel which was a welcome change! We only wish we had more than one night here. The location was a bit further from the town centre than some of the other hostels, however it is only a short walk from the bus station.

In a nice quiet area of El Calafate We were right next to the reception, the music playing was a little annoying when we were trying to relax and people were chatting loudly until late in the night.

Como hizo buena temperatura toda mi estadía, la calefacción me sobró, pero no sé como será en invierno. Que tenga un termotanque bien grande es genial, para que uno pueda bañarse tranquilo. Algo que habría que cambiar, aunq dificil que lo hagan, es que la conección eléctrica del dpto tiene estática. Esto puede dañar aparatos electrónicos sensibles que uno lleva consigo. No pasó nada, pero fue un riesgo. Y mas como una anécdota que otra cosa: en mi estadía maté dentro del dpto mas de 10 arañas jajaja XD. No se puede hacer nada por la zona en la que está el dpto y ademas que el mismo tiene madera por todos lados.

• Cristian Javier (9/5): Gran estadía - Buen precio, habitaciones cómoda con calefacción, a 10 min del centro fácil de caminar y también a 10 min de la estación de ómnibus. Lo mejor del hostel es la cocina compartida puedes cocinar ahí sin problema y para los precios del Chalten es una gran ayuda poder cocinar tus desayunos cenas, la comida que llevas a los toures. Afortunadamente no tuvimos este problema pero vimos que a tu check out si necesitas que te cuiden la maleta durante el día te cobran 5000 ARS. Debería ser gratis como es en casi todos los hoteles y hostales del mundo.
