- Anneke (8/5): Aanrader! - Ideale plek voor Shanghai. Er zijn twee metro stations in de buurt, ook restaurantjes zijn er wel in de buurt. Vanf het hostel ben je zo in de stad. Vriendelijk personeel, er wordt elke dag schoon gemaakt en alles is goed geregeld! -

I checked in at 8:30 PM, but I had to call the front desk to summon a staff member. ･The room had four bunk beds and accommodated eight people. While some parts of the bathroom were a little dirty, it was generally clean and comfortable. ･The room has a shower, sink, and toilet, all separate. The water temperature and pressure are fine. Unusually for China, the toilet is Western-style. ･Toothbrushes, loungewear, and bath towels are included in the service. However, the bath towels are thin and disposable, so if you prefer a softer one, you will need to bring your own. ･While it's not the hotel's fault, you should be mindful of the last train. From a Japanese perspective, the last train on Metro Line 14, which goes to the nearest station, Yuanshen Road, is quite early. After staying at Shanghai Disneyland until closing time and buying souvenirs, I realized that the last Line 14 train I needed to transfer at Changyi Road station had already left. This was my own carelessness, but if you plan to return to the hotel after 10 PM, you should check the last train times in advance. Incidentally, it's less than 2km from Changyi Road station, so I walked back. ･Google Maps and Amap show different locations. I was confused at first. Exit from Exit 4 of Yuanshen Road Station, cross the intersection to your right and behind you, and walk straight for a while until you see a sign for the hotel on your left. After passing the recycling plant, you can see the hotel map on the ground. The white building beyond that is the hotel.

- Alissa (10/5): - Если вы хотите остановиться в бюджетном хостеле, это отличное место. В комнатах, душевых и туалете очень чисто, при въезде выдается чистое постельное белье и резиновые тапочки. В комнатах так же есть шкафчики на замке, где можно хранить ценные вещи. Есть бесплатный вайфай. Метро находится очень близко. Персонал очень дружелюбный, отзывчивый, особенно спасибо 小柳. Если буду еще раз в Шанхае, выберу это же место.

In particular, Liu is very kind and supportive: when I asked a couple of questions regarding bed linen, she replied smiling and with a positive attitude. She could understand me despite my Italian accent :) I also appreciate the location and the value for money. I did not like that I had to make my bed. It’s difficult in the upper bed, with such little space. I also did not like the foot odor in the room. It is important to pay attention to ventilation and even more important to ask guests to leave shoes in a dedicated space outside of the room where they sleep.

- トモヤ (9/5): コスパ最強の快適な宿 - 価格の安さと清潔感。立地も市内に近いアクセスが便利。別のホテルを予約していましたが、当日そのホテルがキャンセルされていることに気づきました。当日の予約でも対応して頂けたのが非常に有り難かったです。無料の水のほか、炭酸飲料が付いていたのも嬉しかったです。 予約後の案内にも記載されていましたが、ホテルまでの道が少し暗く夜に行く場合は少し心配な気持ちになるかも。booking.comのサイトと実際のホテルの場所が若干違ったかな。

- Huize (1/5): Terrible. - Cheap enough. I received unjust service from female stuffs extremely strange, unprofessional and harassing. The stuff members don’t communicate with each other, my agreement with one of the stuff was cancelled with other stuffs next day by calling the police while they came only to confirm that the situation is ordinary. I cannot book their other sites now neither.

Found out actually plenty of dinner places nearby after some walk around. -close to recycle station, route to hostel can smell pretty bad sometimes. Should let us know there's another route to the hostel instead of pointing us to this route.

- Jessyka (1/5): Suja e com staff preguiçoso - Perto da rua principal Sujo num nível. Quarto uma bagunça de comida, roupa sapato pra todo lado, banheiro cagado. Tinha uma Chinesa que estava no quarto lavando as peças íntimas dela quando eu cheguei e assim ficou até as 04:30, com todas as luzes acesas e ainda com ousadia de secar o cabelo com secador hahaha inacreditável. O Staff, a preguiça era apelido, ficava perguntando se eu ia querer o táxi umas mil vezes sendo que eu estava ali pra isso mesmo, disse que era melhor eu ia a um ponto turístico que eu queria a próxima vez que vinhesse a Shangai, que o táxi iria sair muito caro pra mim, enfim ficou enrolando um monte e ainda queria cobrar a mais do que a corrida mostrava no app, quase o dobro porque ele pediu no app dele. Enfim, uma folga terrível. Sem contar que não conseguia dar numa informação coerente. Ainda bem que foi só um stop over, eu não ficaria mais lá um dia. Se eu fosse você também não ficaria.

Персонал открытые и добрые люди — чувствуешь, что здесь о тебе действительно заботятся. Обязательно вернусь ещё раз. особенно хочу упомянуть о милых девушек Quqi и Zhang которые с терпением и с пониманием мне помогали в любых моих просьб и вопросов
- Paterson (10/5): Excellent all round, I will definitely stay here again in the future! - The property is stylish, modern, well-equipped, and pleasant to be in! The cafe area is lovely, and free laundry is amazing! From start to finish, the staff were friendly and helpful, especially QQ and May! While the hostel has more of a work/study vibe, there is a good mix of foreign and domestic travellers to chat with. Once you get to know the nearby metro stations and bicycle locations, it is super easy to get around. At first, you can feel a little far from the action.

- Yuli (5/5): Cheap place in Shanghai! - The room is too small for 8;beds, even maybe 6;are being used at any one time. No spaces for luggage. The common room with tables, sofa, charging facilities , cool and calm place. Washers are a nice feature, as long as the weather is shining and can be dried up in the open sun.

- Raimi (8/5): - Had some problems checking in but the staff were super friendly, spoke english and was just reassuring through the stay. Only issue was the smoke smell around the halls for those in dorms but it goes away once in the capsule.

- Mary (10/5): Convenient Location helpful staff and clean Room - The staff are very nice and speak English Lu Wu are very helpful, check in is very straightforward, provided a clean beddings without extra charge.The room is very clean you have your own privacy with the curtain. Drinks and coffee can be purchase in the lounge area very reasonable price. The whole property is very clean and had a nice relaxing garden.

- Faiza (10/5): DAYIN HOSTEL/ INN close to 3 metros and within sight of the city lights. - Dayin offers beds or private rooms. I liked my room because there was a window to let in fresh air, the shower cubicle is separate from the toilet and, best of all, the sink is outside of the shower & toilet, making it far more hygienic to fill a kettle. The staff were superb in giving directions in English, especially since I needed to attend Shanghai Hospital every day. The hostel is located near three metro stations!! The TV in the room did not have a single need channel, not even in Chinese! I could get such channels AND CGTN in cheaper hotels in other cities.
- Rose888 (3/5): okay for a couple of nights - aircon is cold TP is provided seems pretty clean and well maintained overall pillows are large and comfortable the curtains are very good at blocking light has international and USB power outlets washing machines free for use the owner is a cat toilet is so small one can either lock the door or smack ones knees and forget about pulling up your pants. shower room is tiny and the door doesn’t shut or lock properly, no room to put a towel so you have trouble getting dry or need to step out while naked. sink is in the common area no luggage area no clothes hangers or rack eg. for your towel some rooms are internal so no windows and air is humid wi-fi is slow no dryer machines some black mould can be found on the walls the driveway goes past a busy recycling plant

- Chanel (7/5): Felt like my home for a while. - It’s a good atmosphere and gives you the local vibe. It’s a good place to make Chinese friends and to adapt to the ways of China. Everybody is super friendly and helpful, especially Matt and Keira. The coffee/bar is great too! It’s not so convenient to be located in a hidden alley and basically next to a trash yard but there is an alternative road to walk luckily it’s just a bit further. I guess this causes the cockroach issue.

- Yujia (10/5): Exceptional - The check-in experience is very good. The front desk staff can enthusiastically help you call a taxi to the airport. The WiFi network is very fast, and many people in the lobby can exchange and discuss. The location and hygiene are within the reasonable price range

The one girl (sorry i forgot your name:) who speaks english was nice and helpfull. it was strange though that none of you know where is the city center or touristic area in your own city:D specially that you work in tourism. As a girl who works in tourism i was shocked how almost none of the staff speaks english(only one girl please give her a raise😄) also they couldnt give any suggestion about their city what to visit ehat to see how to get there. When i asked how i get to the city center i was told tgat is tge center well better if you know that nooo that is not the city center ehere the hostel is. Iz would have been nice to get some more help from the reception because at this city noone was speaking enlish noone in restsurant in shops or at metro stations. Was rrally hard to get around eitjout help but did it. But this was my worst trabeling experience ever. The city and the country i mean. The hostel was kind of ok.

- Marc (1/5): Dirty and full of cigarette smoke - Laundry was free to use. You can dry your clothes on the roof. The dorm room was in a very bad state, especially for international travelers. My room was occupied by locals who seemed to be living there for a longer time with their belonging all over the place. People constantly smoked in the room, in bed and in the toilet that is attached to the room. There was trash everywhere, people clogged toilet regularly and it all felt very uncomfortable. To reach the hostel you have to pass through a garbage recycling facility which stinks a lot, especially in hot weather. I've traveled to over 70 countries so far and this was my worst hostel experience I have made. I can not at all recommend this to anyone.
