- Ryan (6/5): Try it for a night on a weekend if you're feeling adventurous, but don't expect comfort or privacy. - Staying at an all-gay hostel definitely has its perks. I enjoyed being able to walk around in any amount of clothing with open-minded men. The room was stifling hot, and the owner took the remote for the thermostat for the room. We had to convince him to turn the heater down. None of the beds had curtains, even though there were railings on each bed for curtains. The owner gave creepy vibes, and might view your profile on Gr*ndr if you open it. You will hear every sound in the room, and if there's a creepy guy who won't leave you alone during the night, there's no way to hide from him. The younger, more attractive guys were too shy or quiet to interact.

- Andy H (4/5): Very basic - Friendly staff, efficient check in. Other guests were good fun. The facilities were as advertised. Floor 3 has a separate shower/toilet. Not far from some cafes and convenience stores. About 15 min walk to subway. Seemed like a lot of the guests were pretty long term. Bedding was very basic. Not even a sheet on the bed. Beds were not so comfy. Should provide drinking water. Offer of some kind of breakfast package would also be good.

- Rob (5/5): - The Thai restaurant downstairs offers really good food at a good price. Medium sized lockers with combination locks are provided. The gay room downstairs is truly set up for sex. It's like a dark back room at a sleeze club. If hooking up is your main objective, and you don't mind rude guests taking showers and blow drying their hair at 0200, then this is the place for you. If you're looking for gratuitous sex, you'll definitely find it there. I'd hate to see a black light inspection of the beds. There is one small room with lockers, a tv, some weights, and 3 or 4 seats...that's the only social space. I also felt that the management had a negative/punitive vibe, and you can even tell this by the listing itself.

- Supoj (9/5): Superb -
- Anton (7/5): Dark dormitory with gym - Friendly owner, nice room mates. The gay area is on first floor. Equipped with a gym, ten bunk beds and a double shower and separated japanese toilet. They provide soaps and towels. No natural light in the room. No privacy, but that is acceptable among gay men. I could turn off the van at night because otherwise it would have blown cold air into my face all night long. I prefered to get blown differently...

- Thiago (8/5): Very good -
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional -
- Manuel (3/5): Poor -
- Luuk (5/5): Okay - Good location and clean facilities Not really a nice common area and pretty crowded sleeping area/shower. Quite a lot of noise when people decide to shower jn the middle of the night
- Barry (6/5): ok for 1 or 2 nights - it was clean, you get charged extra for every hour past 10 pm for check in,
- Jesús (8/5): Very good -
- Alvin (8/5): Value for money and highly recommended - Most travellers/occupants and even the staff are nice and friendly. A simple and comfortable place to rest after a whole day of exploring. Really liked the common space for people to gather and socialise. Quite a distance from the nearest subway station (Gaiemmae). Would also appreciate if the gym equipment was well maintained.
I personally didn’t mind the noise at night when others come back to the dorm late but hopefully this should serve as a disclaimer if this bothers you as a potential guest.
- Phua (8/5): Very good -
- John (6/5): Pleasant -
- Andrea (9/5): Superb - Very clean and comfortable
- Steven (7/5): Quick one-night stay was comfortable, clean, and safe. - A little tough to sleep but that is to be expected. Bunks are great for lounging, didn’t really have another opportunity to try relaxing anywhere else on property.
- Panapat (9/5): Superb -
- Denis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Biston (9/5): Superb - Location is the best, especially at this price Some roommates did not have good hygiene, but the staffs worked very proactively and prompt to get facility cleaned.

- Dewi (10/5): Absolutely amazing !!! - Easy directions to the place , when I entered i was nicely greeted by the owner and he was very accommodating to let me have my luggage there , when I came to check in was greeted by one of the staff he check me in and showed me around the room , everything was absolutely clean and tidy , fresh blankets and towels on bed ready , the staff showed me to the locker and downloaded a app for easy access to enter the hotel , got to meet lots of nice guys from different country’s and room was really cool with the unique layout you can’t find anywhere else , a cool little side room attached to the dorm room to hang out chat and eat with a little gym . So cute . The shower and toliet was absolutely clean and tidy with 2 open showers that were provided with shampoo , conditioner , and body wash and also hair dryers , hot and cold water available and a fridge and freezer super clean . The restaurant downstairs is a Thai restaurant and I recommend every dish I hardly ate Japanese food cause it was hot and fresh and full of flavour I nearly ate there every meal , addictive and very good prices , this place was beyond my expectations as I give it a 10/10 it’s a short walk to the train station which is Ginza line perfect line to be next to . The staff and owner was the highlight of this accommodation as they are just super friendly and treat me like family , as it came to my last day it was very sad to go and I will definitely come here next time I come to Tokyo , everything was perfect !!! Nothing to say bad about this place at all !!!!
- Andrew (9/5): Superb - They were in communication once it was booked, they made sure they were ready for my arrival. Lounge room and bunks were standard and it was easy to talk to people around.
- Leo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ali (1/5): Bad -
- Sayes (10/5): Exceptional - Staff are friendly and helpful. Would like to stay again next time in Tokyo
- Toomas (10/5): Very nice place to stay, metro station close, friendly staff. - Good location, nice and helpful manager, clean room and comfortable bathroom.
- Ngoc (5/5): Passable - I lost my coffee bean that I bought from a famous coffee store in harajuku
- Santiago (4/5): Disappointing - was too sexual, i know was men only but during the night i got touched by many men in my parts and ass non consenscually. too sexual
- Jason (10/5): Nice cozy clean hostel. - I think is tenant dependent. Met a wonderful mishmash of Taiwanese, Mainland Chinese, Singaporean guys. They were friendly and nice to talk to. 10/10 Nothing. Er. Perhaps the consistent smell of Thai food. Haha. But that can't be helped I guess.
- Ener (9/5): Very Good - I stayed only one day and I must say impeccable facility cleanliness I would say good and super friendly staff Nothing
- Cuong (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lio (7/5): Good - Toilet and shower are in the same (single) room for a whole floor. This means that in the morning you often couldn't go the toilet for a long time until everyone had showered. I ended up always going to a nearby sento that was relatively close by and cheap, but that kinda defies the purpose.
- Aaron (5/5): Passable -
- Yorck (5/5): Passable - Good location. It's a 15 minutes walk to the National Art Center, which is just beyond the big Aoyama Cemetery. I was on third floor. Only one toilet/shower for the whole floor. No space to sit and talk and relax or to do some work, except the bunk bed.
Be aware of the strict cancellation regulation: they charge at the time of the reservation, without any refund if you have to cancel.

- Danny (10/5): Great time to be had! - I really appreciated the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere at the gay hostel, where everyone felt comfortable being themselves. The sense of community was fantastic, and the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make sure guests had a great time. While the overall atmosphere at the gay hostel was welcoming, I found the rooms to be a bit cramped and lacking in privacy. Additionally, the common areas could have been cleaner, which detracted from the overall experience.
- Yunzhi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aquapatinth (9/5): Superb -
- Jason (9/5): Good value. - Super friendly staff, affordable (especially for Tokyo), and nice bunk mates. Room could have been cooler at night. Not as nice as some of the really polished hostels in Asakusa or Shinjuku. But overall good.

- Sebastian (7/5): Good - The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. I will never forget about Grant. He was so nice to me, and I am very grateful to him. He helped me many times, and we even became friends. The staff cleaned the room every morning, so it was always very clean and smelled good. The dormitory was in a great location, making it easy to access important places around Tokyo! People would take showers very late at night, and since the shower room was inside the dormitory, you could hear everything, making it difficult to fall asleep. Some guests also snored very loudly at night but these are things you have to expect when staying in a dormitory.
- Ding (10/5): Splendid experience - Hotel Adonis Tokyo is very nice. If you want to make more friends, why not considering this option. The location of the hotel is also quite convenient, as it is close to many tourist spots in Tokyo. What is more, the Bluetooth lock of the hostel is also interesting. Also, if you are the “targeted market” of this hotel, don’t miss the great opportunity to meet more people and friends~
