• Lola (8/5): Sympa dans plus - Chambre privé avec le reste de commun, mais j’étais seule. La fille de la propriétaire est la seule à parler anglais et est très gentille, conseils pour les alentours. Emplacement à 5min du centre ville à pied. Parking possible dans le jardin ou dans la rue. Eau potable (notable en Albanie !) Salle de bain et chambre un peu vétustes, et une seule salle de bain pour toutes les chambres, si il y a des gens, ça doit se bousculer. Le ménage laissait parfois à désirer. Petites rue pour accéder, mais faisable en van.
• GOUEROU (9/5): - Le logement est situé non loin du centre accessible à pied pour la découverte de la ville. La chambre est très simple mais suffisante pour nos besoins. Literie sommaire mais qui suffit pour deux nuits. Nous n'avons pas pu profiter du jardin car nous sommes arrivés trop tard. Nous avons pu laisser notre voiture garée devant le logement. Pour info, google maps nous amène jusqu'à un portail d'école. Rentrez dans l'école, roulez sous la courte allée d'arbres et la maison est à droite, portail jaune. On peut se garer devant. Il serait nécessaire d'étoffer la vaisselle. Manque torchon. Du sel et du poivre seraient appréciés.

• Gabor (9/5): good stay - Clean and tidy house in a peaceful neighbourhood. Compared to other houses good point to have a spacious kitchen (maybe you need to ask if you need more specific bowls). We really liked the garden with the sitting area, but there is also a living room inside. Good wifi. If you are afraid of dogs, (especially if you are after a bike vs. dog attack) write the owner to guide the dogs before you arrive, otherwise it will run out of the gate to "greet" you. They have 2 dogs, they are nice, just good to know.

• Richards (9/5): Great place in a relaxed environment - We had a great stay. The room was a good size and the beds were very comfortable. Having AC and curtains was also a plus as it meant we got a really good night's sleep. The owners were very friendly and hospitable. The garden was lovely too and we enjoyed sitting out to eat or read. The location was fantastic. The kitchen was very basic and made cooking a bit difficult. It was quite loud with music playing, not the owners fault though.

• Johanna (10/5): - The apartment had everything we needed. Quiet and comfortable with the city center in walking distance. Especially the garden right at our doorstep was lovely. Communication with the host went perfectly and we didn't feel like anything was missing. Extra points for the two lovely dogs! :)

• Tatiana (10/5): Fantastic, felt like home - Lovely place in a great location, super close to center st the same time in a quiet peaceful place surrounded by greenery, the owners are very kind, helpful, friendly, the room is spacious, kitchen and bathroom well equipped, very comfortable, we felt at home. The owner recommended some tours which we took and they were amazing, the best part of all was the cutest fluffy dog :) cannot recommend more!

He showed us around and provided fresh watermelon and pear from the garden. Delicious. The room was simple but nice, the beds were comfy and the air conditioning was effective. The apartment has three bedrooms, but we were the only guests so had the place to ourselves. The shared bathroom was excellent, there is no breakfast available but we made our own breakfast in the small kitchen. Great location as it was only a ten minute walk into the centre of town. It was all lovely, a kitchen knife and a chopping board would have been useful, but these are tiny details. Not really important.

If you are considering traveling by yourself or even with family... I strongly recommend this place. Stay at the Happy Corner Guest House! That the time went by too fast. Once I arrived, it felt like time jumped ahead. Meeting the host and the family felt like a sense of community.... I cannot say enough positive things.

• Verena (7/5): Good - Beautiful garden, cute dog, good location, helpful owner The room and the facilities are rather basic. Only a see-through curtain to the balcony where all guests can go. In the end the host wanted us to pay in Euro which we clearly did not have at hand in Albania and which wasn't mentioned before (neither on booking nor while talking to him before). So he wanted us to exchange lek in Euro (which costs a fee). However, we didn't do so and payed in Lek as it is announced on booking.com. It finally seemed fine but this was very uncomfortable and annoying.

It is close to the main pedestrian street, has parking secured by cameras, and a large yard. The owner is a wonderful guy who is ready to help in everything. His family is also very kind. • Zdenek (10/5): A nice place to stay in the center - Quite good location. It's in the center, still it's quiet. Use the location as in Google Maps and the video you receive when booking. The location in booking.com might mislead you to a different place nearby. The apartment is a room of a big house with a beautiful garden and some places to sit down and rest. There's enough parking in front of the house, next to the school, so it's very convenient to park at the accomodation and walk to the busy center. The room was nice and clean. Shared bathroom was large and clean. There's also a kitchen, but we didn't use it (as the food in the restaurants/cafes is really good and cheap).

• Andrea (10/5): 1000 stars place that feels like home! - Everything is perfect, the location, the rooms are big and comfortable, the bathroom is lighty and spacious, there is a kitchen that you can use to prepare some meals, the garden is just gorgeous perfect for hot days but the best of all is Dorjan the host. He helped us to have the best time not just in Shkoder but in Albania, we felt like home while there and we are very very thankful.
