• Darya (9/5): - Очень грамотная планировка пространства, на 10 метрах умещается то, что порой не влезает и в 60)) Отличная система освещения, кодовый замок на двери, удобные матрасы, предметы личной гигиены. Вкусная еда в ресторане внизу, приятные хозяева, отличное месторасположение. Нет окна, очень шумно с улицы( Окно в коридор над входной дверью номера, это, конечно, ужас. Когда ночью кто-то включает в коридоре свет, он бьет прямо в глаза. В номере было не совсем чисто, когда мы заселялись. На второй день под столом обнаружился огромный дохлый таракан)) В ванной комнате в некоторых местах было грязно. За три дня ни разу не дали воды, за исключением дня приезда, ну и не убирались, соответственно.
• Francesco (9/5): Quirky decor full of character - Very characterful accommodation, run by a lovely couple. Quirky decor full of character, with fridge and kettle. Beautiful roof terrace with nice plants and often music. Great location, 10 minutes away from Kaosan Road. The property is on a big and busy road, so sometimes it can be a bit noisy.

• Sebastian_guide (8/5): Very good - I like the mattresses and bathrooms/showers. Each and every day rooms were cleaned, beds were done, it was spotless. Strange smell in the lobby. I couldn't identify, but it was strange. No smell in the lift or rooms.

• Sofie (7/5): Dorm not so great. - The Staff was super nice and helpful. They also have two cute dogs and a cat. Since I am a female traveling alone this was not the place for me. There is only one mixed dorm and there where just older men that snored really loud and farted... I changed hostels. I guess I could have expected that but wouldn't recomend to solo females.

• Nicholas (7/5): Really enjoyed my stay - Facilities were great, no windows directly in the bedroom so peaceful sleep. Little balcony for smoking. Lots of space around the beds to store belongings. Fridge in room. Staff is nice. Mattress not very comfy. No one uses the limited shared space so it's not very social. There is some table outside but right by the highway.

Great location, super close to Rambuttri st, and easily walkable to Khaosan Rd, also to the ferry pier which takes directly to some of the famous temples.

• Duang-im (7/5): Good - The korean food is the best! The owners are friendly . Cat and dogs are so friendly. It was awkward to share showers with guy, you will encounter with half naked guys or having conversations with them while they were wearing just towels. If your roommate drink and get drunk, be ready for sleepless night(s) because of the all night loudest snoring. Don't recommend Pad Thai here. It doesn't taste like Pad Thai, but Korean food is the best.

There is an amazing bar and terraces with a perfect view and a restaurant with good food. The location is perfect close to the center. There's no way I'm in Bangkok and not come here

• Lari (6/5): You get what you pay for. Fine for a quick overnight. - Very cheap. Clean, fresh sheets. Bed was hard but not terrible and I slept ok. Fridge in room. Good aircon in room. Quiet. Staff were really lovely and able to point me in the right direction for everything I needed. Curtains around upper bunks for privacy was a bonus. Elevator was not working so several flights of stairs to walk up in Bangkok heat is not ideal. Coffee/cooking facilities are down several flights of stairs, very basic and felt a little unsanitary. Location is away from Khao San Road and next to a busy highway. No window in room so no way to wake up naturally and can’t turn lights on while others are still sleeping. Woken up at 4am by staff turning blazing, bright overhead lights on when bringing a guest in which is just infuriating! Use a flashlight!!!
• Svetlana (10/5): Great place - It's a great place to start knowing Bangkok. All transportation is near by so you can reach every part of the city. Big plus is an elevator for your bags and terrace for evening chill. I can only recommend this place!

• Mark (8/5): Quaint cheap hostel - Cheap and lovely accommodation but with its drawbacks also it is popular with the Korean people so expect most if not all other residents will be Korean and expect to follow their culture rules eg shoes must stay outside of accommodation also room was spacious and the restaurant downstairs serves great food The rooms are a good size but this is not the place if you desire privacy as there are no privacy curtains are lockers but yet i didn't feel my stuff was unsafe at any time

• Wayne67 (10/5): The best hostel/dorm experience I've had! - This is a professionally run, efficient, friendly, clean, comfortable hostel which is in a great location close to bars, restaurants, and nightlife but distant enough to offer a quiet peaceful getaway. The space afforded you in the dorm is really good with loads of room for you and your bags, a comfy bed with fresh clean linen, a personal night light, power sockets, and a clean, well maintained ablution area which caters more than adequately for the small number of beds.You have a privacy screen or curtain which is welcomed and in the five days I was here every one of the other guests were quiet, socially aware, and considerate of others. The dorm was also really dark so you weren't woken with the sun or street lights - it made for restful sleep, and the lift is great for those with bad knees. The owners are engaging and friendly combining to make this the best hostel experience I've had in decades of travel through Asia. Well done! The only one tiny inconvenience for me was the wifi isn't great. It works but it's a bit slow.

Reception was exceptionally nice and kindly waited for my arrival at 2AM. Also perfect location for taking the bus in the morning. Not far from main road. Sitting area is a bit old but gives a rustic feel to it. Not much to complain about. Would come back here next time in Bangkok.

• Dudeawesome (1/5): I do NOT recommend staying here, or setting foot here under any circumstances. - Paying and leaving, never to come back! Seriously, the last evening was traumatizing and I couldn't sleep due to not knowing how far the owners' lunacy might go The owners have zero respect for guests. They communicate in an overly aggressive manner at every turn. We were guests there but we were spoken to and treated like inmates... 3 of us left after 1 morning but I the ever-patient optimist stuck around. Big mistake. Once the owners turned the wrath on me the matter could have come to blows if it wasn't for me de-escalating and trying to reason with wholly unreasonable, vulgar, despotic people. Did I mention the name-calling and the blatant disrespect?

Their English is good but their attitude is horrendous. They are despotic, patronizing, rude, and aggressive. No one deserves to sleep in a place like this and pay money for it.

Aggressive, rude, patronizing, vulgar, absolute bullies in every interaction. The only way I survived was by keeping interactions to a bare minimum, but the 70 year old man was close to punching me last night for not wanting to talk to him about my room bill when he felt like it, which was on a Saturday night at 10pm, and I naturally was going out with friends. I feel really sorry for the staff. They should hand over the business to someone who isn't grumpily dying, and go do something else. They have no idea what cordial communication means, and it's not for a lack of English skills. Seriously, buyer beware. I'm going to write more on booking.com now - no one should have to put up with what I put up with, period.

Nice area for chill. The owner and staff are so nice and helpful, you can feel family vibe in here. You also should try the food in the restaurant downstairs, so good!

• João (6/5): Super nice hosts, but a lot to improve - Super kind and helpful hosts and staff. Very flexible, I arrived very early and they gave me the bed immediately, despite the check in hours. I really liked the location. It's close to most places to visit and also close to Khaosan street but without being annoyed by all the noise. I really don't get how the place has so great reviews. The rooms were very low level and dark. There was a single toilette for the 6 beds. There wasn't even hand soap in the bathroom, so always remember to take some with you when you go to the toilete. And this is after we just came out of a pandemic. Most of the time there was no toilete paper. The wifi connection is fine, except in the top beds where it's impossible to keep a stable connection. There is no Air conditioning outside of the bedrooms, which, with Bangkok's heat, makes it impossible to hangout a bit outside of the room.
• Madelief (6/5): Not the best - There was a lot of space for your stuff in the dorms which was nice. The power outlet at my bed did not work. Some other things are the sliding door thats very loud which was annoying everytime someone left or came into the room while youre trying to sleep. Every time someone used the bathroom the whole dorm was light again since its accessed by a glass door. I had to get up early which probably made these things a bigger issue than normally though.

• Manya (8/5): Very good - Another nice stay at DDM, in a dormitory room this time. The balcony is really nice, and the room is huge. Lots of space for your stuff ! It is a noisy room, as a big busy road is right up front, and I had trouble sleeping if you had to it the fan + AC.
• Misterbas (3/5): what a dump - The free waterbottle was a nice gesture. The beds are like stone. The powersockets are so worn-out that you cannot charge your phone. Never going here again. So many homeless people next to the frontdoor
