• Edward (1/5): Unfriendly host - I booked 2 nights. They were totally unhelpful about a late check in so I had to spend the first night at another hostel. When I arrived the following morning, I was told that my booking was cancelled.

• Tina (6/5): Loud but lovely - Incredibly clean! Comfortable beds, where you even get two pillows. Seperate showers and bathroom for women on the 2nd floor. Cute interior in the first two floors. The kitchen has everything you could possibly ask for. The staff were very nice. While I wouldn't come back for a good night's sleep here I would come back for the nice staff. With or without earplugs you can hear everything going on outside - which is a lot. Since there's the MRT riding right above you and a lot of traffic going on it's always noisy, no matter the time of day. It might be quiter if you get a courtside room but in the dorms it's just very loud. Wouldn't recommend for noise sensitive people or light sleepers.
• Fueangladda (9/5): - Soft bed, cold A/C, clean bathroom. Close to the MRT and shopping malls super convenient to get around. It’s on the 4th floor, and the stairs can be a bit of a workout 😂

• Daniel (9/5): Well located hostel located outside the busy tourist spots - Nice hostel, which is quite outside of the common tourist areas. There are not many foreigners here. It's just 20 meters from the Bang Pho station (2A exit) on the blue line that goes down to Sukhumvit/Asok, Chutachak Market or the big central train station (Krung Thep Apiwhat) (also called Bang Sue). In about 200m you can also board the ferry that goes to the Dusit area (ie. Khao San Road). The hostel got a quite big, full kitchen (stove, microwave), a big kitchen table, a roof top place, space to work online and a small café. Close to the hostel you can find many ways to drink, eat and shop (Thanon Krung Thep Nontaburi, Gateway Shopping Mall (with an affordable food court, H&M, Big C) or the many restaurants. Unfortunately it's not the quietest hostel. Although at the end of the street. Traffic is definitely to be heard also at night. The English speaking staff however, the interior, lockers (bring your own pad lock), wide beds with side storage, curtains and stairs instead of ladders and a bed-side small locker are all nice. BangPho Story Hostel is recommended for anyone who can navigate Bangkok outside the most common tourist / party spots or anyone who needs to be close to the central train station for an early ride the next morning.

Friendly staff - decent bathrooms - and very clean all round Great price At night - the location is quiet after 11pm. All was good. Not the most social hostel I have been to.

Hostel very clean and welcoming environment One of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in in 9 months of bag packing SE Asia. Some confusion with staff regarding a late check in (told keycard would be left at front desk) but it was left in the postbox?? Couldn’t contact staff via number provided to receive this information Overall though, the quality of the stay outweighed the miscommunication. Would definitely stay here again. A little far away from anything of sight seeing interest

The room had enough space for large bags to be stored and plenty of space within the room to move around. I liked the bunks as you had space within you bunk for small items with a shelf and small lockable cupboard Staff kept to themselves

• Sara (6/5): Pleasant Stay - The facilities is good for backpackers .Very cozy and feel like home.Since there are not much people ,only the 2 of us therefore we feel very private and great! .For the amount we paid ,it just ok.But if the price were increased ,higher than what we paid then ,It is not worth it for us from Asean countries. Just ok.The environment is so gloomy in the morning at 9am when we check out.No one is around..We thought ,the cafe below is going to be open at 9am .,maybe monday is closed.The mart is far away from the dorm.Other than that,everything is ok.

• Lamey (8/5): Nice place to crash - Plesant bed and common areas. Tao Poon Market somewhat nearby. Felt very safe. Not too busy, but not solitary. Staff spoke good english. Train station literally right next to hostel. Train station literally right next to hostel--noisy untill around 9pm. Nowhere nice to relax outdoors nearby. Area feels kind of cave-y with the train so close.
