• Aktolkyn (9/5): Хостел недалеко от Истикляля - Отличное расположение хостела рядом с галатской башней, рядом множество кафе и магазинов. Недалеко от Истикляля. Очень чисто в ванной, имеются шампунь и гель для душа. Матрас удобный. Завтраки приемлемые: яичница, омлет с сыром, менемен овощи, фрукты, оливки, варенье, сыр, чай.

Sehr empfehlenswert. Die Betten und Matratzen waren nicht gemütlich. Zimmer eher klein, aber das störte nicht extrem.

• Benedicte (7/5): - L'emplacement est idéal dans le quartier de Galata. Proche des transports. Le petit-déjeuner inclus est un vrai plus au regard des prix pratiqués dans le quartier. La chambre est simple mais confortable. L'accueil est un peu froid mais le personnel est sympathique et disponible pour aider. La chambre est de petite taille donc on peut être un peu à l'étroit avec les bagages. Les équipements mériteraient d'être un peu rénovés (porte de douche manquante, guirlande électrique cassée...).

• Iuliia (6/5): - Самый большой плюс-это только расположение отеля, шаговая доступность от станции метро и самой прогулочной улицы Истикляль и Галатской башни, на этом плюсы заканчиваются. Заселиться не так просто, несмотря на то, что написано ресепшен работает круглосуточно. На самом деле ребята находятся в кафе за углом и если вы об этом не знаете, то стоять под дверью будете долго. Расплатиться можно на месте наличными. В проживание включен стандартный завтрак. Девочки с утра сделают простой, но вкусный завтрак. Все в отеле очень старое. Номер снимали на две ночи, семейный с удобствами. В итоге нас заселили в номер, который когда-то сдавался с множеством кроватей как хостел. Шкафа нет, повесить вещи некуда, батареи нет (подсушить что-то просто невозможно, а мы попали на период сильных дождей) Нет штор, в итоге все окна соседнего дома как на ладони. Самое печальное то, что туалет находиться в коридоре, а не в номере и вам придется каждый раз выходить. Частота номера оставляет желать лучшего.

• IOANNA (9/5): Πολύ φιλική ατμόσφαιρα. - Όλοι, ιδιοκτήτης κ προσωπικό, είναι καταπληκτικοί!!! Μας αντιμετώπισαν σαν 4 πολύ καλούς φίλους κ μας βοήθησαν σε ό,τι χρειαστήκαμε. Η τοποθεσία εξαιρετική, πολύ κοντά στην Istiklal κ σε περιοχές με φαγητό κ ποτό, αλλά κ πολύ βολική για συγκοινωνίες προς όλα τα βασικά αξιοθέατα της πόλης. Ανεπαρκής καθαριότητα.

Room was clean, but linens were threadbare and stained. Breakfast was only so-so, and took a long time to get served. Difficult to get out early in day.

• Tonyleong1 (9/5): Great budget hotel, but not great as a social hostel - -Friendly and helpful staff. -They've since converted from a hostel to a standard low-scale hotel, so my dorm room got upgraded to a queen room. -Kitchen & Water purification system. -Good location! -Although there's still a kitchen, it was hard to socialise since it's no longer a hostel. -As with most of Turkey, smoking is ubiquitious, so it was hard to stay in the kitchen. -

• Anna (7/5): Als Hostel gut, als Hotel (noch) sehr ausbaufähig - Als wir gebucht haben, war es noch ein Hostel. Jetzt ist es zum Hotel umgewandelt worden. Als Hostel wäre die Unterkunft völlig ausreichend, von einem Hotel erwarte ich jedoch mehr. Man kann nun mal nicht einfach die Bezeichnung ändern und gleich wenig anbieten (bzw. noch weniger) - Personal war nett aber generell komplett abwesend. Die Rezeption war nie besetzt, die Köchin für das Frühstück kam 40 Minuten zu spät, sodass wir nur Käsetoast und Gurke von Cafe-Personal bekommen haben. - der Check-in war problemlos und schnell, man erhält Zugangscodes anstatt Hotelkarten. Solange der Code zum Zimmer regelmäßig geändert wird, bin ich damit fein. - das Zimmer ist niedlich eingerichtet mit allem was man braucht, die Bettdecke ist groß und kuschelig, die Kopfkissen sind toll und weich - die Lage unschlagbar. Direkt an einer Metrostation und umgeben von kleinen Restaurants, Cafes und Bars - Das Cafe und der Küchenbereich ist sehr süß, aber auch sehr beengt - als allererstes haben sie alle Hostel Aktivitäten gestrichen. Uns wurde noch ein Hosteldinner versprochen am Sonntag, welches nicht stattgefunden hat. Generell ist das Hostel feeling überhaupt nicht mehr da. - Generell hat das Personal so absolut keinen Bock auf ihren Job. Als wir um 09:15 Uhr zum Frühstück gekommen sind, wurde so getan, als ob sie gar nicht wissen wieso wir da sind. Es gab keine Infos, dass die Köchin sich verspätet. Es wurden nur lieblos ein paar Käsetoasts gemacht. Wir sind danach außerhalb essen gegangen. - das Zimmer wurde in der ganzen Zeit nicht gereinigt, die Handtücher konnten wir nicht wechseln, weil die Rezeption nie besetzt war. Zumindest täglich die Mülleimer leeren hätte ich erwartet - Alles im Zimmer war locker: der Klodeckel, die Lampe, der Wasserhahn, die Duschwand. Nichts in diesem Zimmer hat nicht gewackelt, wenn man es berührt hat. Außerdem gab es nur an einer Seite des Bettes Steckdosen. - Zusammenfassend kann ich in einem Hostel mit allem leben, ein Hotel hat für mich aber ganz andere Standards, die bei weiten noch nicht erfüllt werden. Hier muss noch sehr nachgebessert werden.

Still the same great facilities as before. No hostel vibe as before which was a disappointment. The change from hostel to hotel was made between me booking and staying.

• Ana Mijal (10/5): Lovely acomodation - They gave me an upgrade and I had a private room even that I booked for a shared one. It was just great. Really clean, with great warming system, towels and whatever you need from a room. The kitchen was always clean and the staff was very friendly. During my stay, they made dinner for free for us and it was very tasty and a great way to meet other travellers :) The location is great! Just know you will train your legs haha The breakfast was just ok

There are 3 higher steps before u open d front door. Breakfast 9-12. One day staff was not in until 09:17 to prepare breakfast.

Check in was simple. The lift helped since we had huge suitcases. Walking distance around Galata. Breakfast included is a delicious the coffee shop was great 😊 wish we could have stayed longer to join all the fun activities like the pub crawl and Sunday night dinner

• Colin (5/5): Do you like car horns serenading you to sleep? - Location was great. Monday family dinner was a nice touch, although don't expect much food. Curtains around beds were helpful although some of them were holding on for dear life. Free breakfast @ the cafe downstairs was filling enough. Very noisy outside. Cars honking all night long. Had a few germans in my room that don't know the concept of air conditioning, their delicate noses can't handle artificial air and they refused to use it. Instead they insisted on keeping the windows open all night long, didn't get any sleep with all the street noise. And trust me there's a lot of street noise (I used to live in Chelsea, Manhattan and this was way worse). I only stayed 2 days of the 5 I had booked, I couldn't take it. The hostel refused to refund me even 1 cent of my stay, had no interest in a compromise.

• Dawid (10/5): Polecam! - Lokalizacja petarda! Wszędzie blisko, na promy czy najważniejsze zabytki. Nie korzystałem z taksówek ani razu. W pokoju czysto, na 1-2 osoby w sam raz, łóżko duże i wygodne. Śniadanko spoko w pobliskiej kawiarni spoko. Polecam! Minus taki że hałas z ulic jest do późnych godzin. Ale to chyba wszędzie w Stambule :) Ściany mogłyby być też lepiej wyciszone, bo słychać wszystko.

• Simona (10/5): Overall, though, it’s a lovely place with great people and a relaxed, local atmosphere. I’d happily come back! - I stayed at Hotel Le Banc for 2 nights and really enjoyed my time there. The place has a cozy, authentic Istanbul vibe. I loved that there was drinkable tap water available and the option to cook in the shared kitchen plus a great selection of beers to choose from! The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, especially Baran and Didem, who made the stay feel very welcoming. We were even invited to join the free dinner after our checkout, which was such a kind gesture and made us feel like part of the community. I did miss having towels provided. Also, breakfast could be improved; there were only two types available and unfortunately no traditional Turkish option, which was a bit of a pity.

• tobias (7/5): Nice hostel with helpul staff, great location, solid B+ - Great breakfast, good staff, nice location and building is well-maintained. Overall I had a good experience here. I didn't love the shower being in the dorm rooms, the door + alarm beep was noisy, and the dorms felt a bit cramped with a lot of snorers (but I might just be getting old). Lack of a good common space maybe, the roof was always locked and kitchen + dining table was small.

• Jéssica (9/5): Comfy private room and amazing location. - I got a private room, which was super comfortable and cute. Location was amazing. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the coffee was really nice downstairs. Not relate to like it or not, just have in mind that it is a hostel where people are more into themselves and not really a place to meet people, I’d say. For me worked pretty well, it was what I needed. But in general, if you want to meet people, I’m not sure if this is your place.
