It had ZERO soundproofing, so I could hear everything from the property machine, street noise, etc. Felt like sleeping on the street.

I like that there are no set check in or check in times. I felt safe that the women's bathroom had a coded lock and separate doors to get into the showers and the bathroom stalls. I didn't like that the bathroom didn't have any trash cans this visit. Also I recommend them putting a liner with the shower curtains to prevent water getting on the floor. My wardrobe closet didn't have any hangers for me to hang my clothing. Also no iron was in the room. Even if one is not kept in the room, if a space for ppl to iron their clothing be created it would be appreciated.

There's a layer of dirt that never seems to go away. The sink drains, the faucet handles, light switches, floors and walls need more attention. • Traveler (8/5): Simple, safe, comfortable stay in a good location - The room was surprisingly quiet and the overall simplicity made me feel comfortable to stay for the duration of time. It was nice to have the kitchen with the appliances. The location is good, it is close to LAX, Westfield shopping mall, Westwood (UCLA), bus and metro stops, etc. I liked the shower, the water pressure and temperature was good. Cannot think of any---maybe a washer and a dryer on site could be helpful? But there was a Laundromat in the walking distance (about 10 - 15 minutes from the hostel) so it was not much of an issue.

It was my first time in LA and I think this location only works if you have a car.

But, it was not possible that it did not have an air extractor or some ventilation mole, it could even be dangerous for a person to stay more than 6 hours in the room and unfortunately when opening the door it gave to the bathrooms so the smell that came in was not pleasant Silent and clean
• Marjorie (8/5): Private Room & Easy Access to Culver City - First time in a hostel and it was better than expected; simple furnishings and small room, with shared (gender specific) bathroom. Steep flight of stairs to enter off street. Owner gave great video intro before arriving, to know how to access hostel. The main difficulty was street activity, since it is on a busy street, but it was fine the second night. There was no air conditioning, but a fan was provided, which helped since I wanted to close the window because of noise. Some rooms didn’t have windows, which is against fire code in my area, so ask for a room with a window if you want one. The kitchen is spacious and you can have use of the refrigerator and mark your food, which was very helpful. Overall a good place and easily accessible to Culver City Bus which is our go to when in the area, and now that the LAX Metro Connector is open, super easy to get around and navigate LA without a car.

• Yamini (2/5): - Besides the bathroom being unclean, here are some things I am disappointed with - my food which was correctly and properly labeled was eaten by someone and the conditions of the fridge were unhygienic and disgusting (rotten vegetables, chicken drumsticks in the open and even a dead fly). There was also a trespassing incident which made me fear for my safety. I wouldn't recommend even my worst enemy to stay in this place.

• Molly (4/5): - So, I read reviews and looked at the photos before booking. I was actually quite excited for this place to be great! It was not what I expected. When you walk in, it looks very nice. We got into our room, it was hot and small. The walls were either dirty or not painted very well. My boyfriend went to the bathroom and ge said there were no shower curtains and people didnt know how to flush (nit really the property's fault) The staff were nice and refunded our stay besded the first day which is understandable.

• Blessing (7/5): I would definitely recommend. I would stay there again if the WiFi signal was more reliable and if the outlet issues was - Very nice inside - especially the shared public space ! Wow! Super impressive! Also the bathrooms are very nice. The shared kitchen is large and has amenities many more expensive accommodations do not. The room was a bit stuffy and small and the walls seemingly paper-thin so you can hear everything (including snoring) in the room adjacent (luckily I only had one neighbor in my room) almost as if it was in the room. It’s a bit like sleeping in a closet but it had shelving which was great. My only 2 gripes I had were actually with the only outlet in the room which was coming out of the wall and only one of two worked. The other issue was the lack of WiFi - which kept going out. I had an important online meeting and had to keep reliving in and switching between my data (& my signal was spotty in the room) & the WiFi, which was very unstable / unreliable. The price for a private room, that there was parking behind the building, the clean and very nice shared public area, bathrooms, kitchen, cleanliness, the self-serve option (being able to enter via a coded lockbox), and friendliness & availability of the staff (both on the phone & at the property), and that it was relatively quiet - although I did hear anything outside my room and next door.

• Simon (5/5): Passable - I like that it had private rooms rather than bunks. No off street parking but easy to get a park on the side street opposite and felt like a relatively safe area. It looks nicer from the pictures, but it was okay relative to the price I paid. Kitchen lacked much cutlery, plates or bowls. Walls are very thin with no dampening of noise from between rooms or from the hallway - especially irksome with the loud beeping from the pin pads on each room constantly. No window in rooms.

• András (7/5): Good for what it is - It was cheap, it was close to Sony Pictures (one of my travelling destinations), the kitchen, the common room and the terrace were great places to hangout. The digital codes instead of physical keys made the entering so much easier. There were no towels, and it might be connected to the fact that this is a hostel and not a hotel. Still, I would have preferred an option to at least, lease a towel. If there was an option like that, I couldn't find it. My room was close to the bathrooms, and at 1 AM, someone woke me up by using a hair dryer. Sure, it was an unfortunate event that happened to me - but it could happen to others, as well, if the are also taking that room.

• Cristina (8/5): Good value for money - Conveniently located in residential Culver City. A 7 eleven and several restaurants within walking distance. The hostel was spotlessly clean. Dustin was very helpful via WhatsApp messaging. The cleaner was very friendly and showed me around when I got there There were clear instructions as to the kitchenware and fridge usage. It would have been good having someone around in case of emergency. There was no proper window in the room, so it would get stuffy after a while. I appreciate the fact that the reception desk staff member kept in touch and messaged me the codssaes to the entrance and to my room; however, manning a reception desk from.time to time makes a difference and would make the guests feel safely

• Diony (2/5): Unbelievable. - I booked for a large twin bed room that appeared in the picture I chose but was given a windowless very small room with almost no space to move around. Worst room I have ever booked in my entire life. I called the manager but he said he could not do anything about it as we booked through a 3rd party. Unbelievable.

• Alarcon (9/5): Convient, great price - Easy to find. Parking was easy. Access, video instructions good I could not figure out to how to get the water hot for a shower.

• Liz (8/5): I would stay again. I’ve not stayed in hostels before, this has definitely changed my mind. - I felt welcome and safe. The staff were so polite and helpful. Room, bed was comfy. Good location, quiet. Waiting for hot water. So much cold water wasted to wait for the hot water for a shower. I didn’t ask about how to use the tv. I didn’t get it to work. I’m not sure if that was extra. I didn’t really need it. The staff when out of their way to make me comfortable and they helped me with my travel needs. They really looked after me. It’s a good, clean, safe environment.
