The personnel genuinely does their best to comply with any request from the customer. The Food: Both the buffet and on-demand options are amazing. The food is just stupidly good! The Location: Unbeatable. It took us only 3 minutes to walk to the Taj Mahal’s east gate. Also, the hotel's Taj Mahal garden tour is awesome. The Beds: We booked a Double Deluxe room and the beds could definitely improve. I couldn't sleep at all 1 out of the 3 nights because it was so uncomfortable. The AC Issue: There was a power outage at midnight which disconnected the AC while it was 33°C inside. Management really needs to watch that.

- Imrankhan (10/5): An Unforgettable Stay – Absolutely Worth It! - An Unforgettable Stay – Absolutely Worth It! We had an absolutely incredible stay here, and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. First and foremost, the room was breathtaking. Waking up to a fantastic, close-up view of the Taj Mahal right from our window was a dream come true. We were staying here to celebrate my wife's birthday, and the staff went completely above and beyond. The birthday arrangements they put together were amazing and a surprisingly super touch that made her day incredibly special. On top of the perfect ambiance, the food was absolutely delicious—every meal we had was amazing. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, and a special mention must go to our host, Rajeev. He is truly the best! He made sure we were treated with genuine warmth throughout our entire stay and looked after every little detail. Overall, this hotel is worth every single penny. If you are planning a trip, do yourself a favor and book a stay here! The hotel has no backup power facility during the power cut.

- José (7/5): Para 1 noche podría ser, pero no me encantó. - Definitivamente si queda muy cerca de la entrada a Taj Mahal, literalmente caminando a 5min, y el rooftop bar la comida está rica y barata, además de la gran vista. Los alrededores están súper sucios, y hay un caos de ruido y gente. La habitación literalmente es para llegar a bañarte y medio dormir pero no recomiendo para estancias largas, está demasiado sencillo y la cama cero cómoda.

We did an excursion to a local village and were able to try buffalo milk chai and vegetable fritters. KK was extremely kind to welcome us in to meet his whole family. Really recommend if you are staying here on a Friday!
- Harm (9/5): - I stayed in the mini loft and I really liked it. It was clean and cozy and fit my needs perfectly. It's a clever use of the available space. Wifi was fast. The mini lofts are in a different building from the main hostel and cafe (a less than a minute walk) which I liked as it felt a bit more quiet and secluded. The location is super close to the main attraction in town, and you get a nice view from the Taj at the hostel's rooftop cafe. The hostel also organizes some trips to other sights which are worth it. The staff are super nice and I wouldn't hesitate to stay with the Joey's team again. If you are a tall person you might find the space in the mini loft a bit too low, but if you are average height you should be fine.

- Zac (9/5): Best view of the Taj Mahal from our room - We stayed in the honeymoon suite and WOW! The view of the Taj Mahal from our room was absolutely incredible. Such good value for money. Only a 3 minute walk to the east gate, perfect for sunrise. We booked a taxi back to Delhi through the hotel and the driver kept falling asleep on the way back. It was very dangerous. He was also very rude and aggressive when we confronted him. I’m not sure this is directly the hotels fault but they did arrange the taxi.

- Nishan (10/5): Exceptional two days with taj view.. - Staying at Joys Hostel Agra was truly one of the highlights of our India trip. The hostel is within walking distance of the Taj Mahal, and the view from the rooftop café is absolutely incredible. Mr. Rajiv arranged a wonderful evening trip to Mehtab Bagh to watch the sunset with the Taj Mahal in the background, and it turned out to be one of the best views and experiences we had in Agra. The evening walk was arranged at a very reasonable price and was extremely thoughtful and well organized. A heartfelt thank you to the entire staff, and especially to Rajiv(Mauwa 😉) , for the wonderful memories and warm hospitality during our two-day stay. We truly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Agra!🥰🥰 Nothing..

When we questioned this we were simply told that the listing was wrong and needed to be changed, no apology. We also asked if we could go to the rooftop cafe to watch the sunrise. Was told that we could but when we got up there at 5am it was locked with no staff in sight.

Great community space but also nice having your own space to rest. Rajeev was great and welcoming, took us ok a great tour to a garden behind the Taj, was beautifully quiet and a great sight to see.

- Darwin Samala (10/5): - the location is perfectly situated around the vicinity of taj mahal, the rooftop is open and they serve delicious meal and my favourite is chicken tikka masala and lassi, the price is excellent for the space of the room with toilet inside. The staff put on a free cooking workshop in the cafe both nights we were there - the first night it was how to make pani puri (which we got to eat and was amazing) and the next night it was chai (which we also got to drink). Special shout out to KK for being super friendly and making both of those cooking events delicious and enjoyable! Honestly had a really great experience here.

- Tomoki (10/5): タージマハールをゆっくり楽しく楽しめる最高の宿です - 立地ロケーションがとても良く、スタッフが素晴らしいです。KKさんと言うスタッフの方がとても親切で、帰りのデリーまでの高速バスを探してくれたり、高速列車がウェイティングリストに入っていて埋まっていたにもかかわらず何とか見つけてくれ、とても役に立つスタッフさんでした。またタージマハルのサンセットツアーをガイドした時も、様々なジョークを交えながら楽しい旅をしてくれしてくれて、屋上のカラオケパーティーなどでも、先導して盛り上げてくれてとてもほんとに良い宿だなと思いました。 少しだけ屋上のカフェの歪みであったり、施設が若干老朽化してるところは気になりました。

- Macy (7/5): Good two nights close to the Taj! - The locations was awesome! 200m from the Taj. We woke up at 5:30am and walked there, it was super simple and easy. We got breakfast included. It wasn’t great but it was convenient.

- YOKO (9/5): アクセス抜群。個室は広く、安くておすすめです。 - 屋上からタージマハルが正面に望め、サルの家族が遊ぶ姿を眺めながら無料のコーヒーを飲んでくつろげました。 何といっても朝一で空いているタージマハルに入場できることです。入口まで5分かかりません。 朝食は遅い時間に行くと何もなく、中身の割には高いと思いました。 ホステルの出口に値段かなり高めのリキシャの呼び込みが毎回うるさかった。

- Coleau (7/5): Belle vue mais bruyant - Le personnel est très sympathique, serviable. Le vue depuis la terrace est vraiment top. Et le Taj Mahal est à 2 pas. Le petit déjeuner est simple mais pas cher. Les plats à la carte étaient délicieux. La chambre n'était pas très propre. L'hôtel est bruyant même la nuit. Les chambre donne directement dans la salle commune et des gens y passe la nuit à discuter, ça résonne.
- Keith (7/5): Good value. Close to Taj Mahal - Nice private room. Private bathroom with hot water. Good value. Short walk to Taj Mahal. Activity (sunset walk) was nice, but was far from a walk- long Tuk Tuk ride you had to pay for. Hostel restaurant (Hippie Cafe) was gross. I had to vomit up the meal I ate there after only a few minutes. Staff was poorly trained and would sit next to you and blow cigarette smoke on you. I learned to go to the Chia Taj View cafe instead. It’s on the top floor of the hostel. Better food, better service.
