Guest Reviews
- Luka (1/5): - Not much. The location is fine. The facilities are barely acceptable (shower barely works, hot water lasts three minutes).
Don’t expect to get much sleep in this place. Loud music was banged late at night on the rooftop for every night during my stay. If you do somehow manage to fall asleep, do not worry, employees will come into the room at 1 AM to talk and turn the lights on, before kindly leaving with the door open, so you can continue listening to the conversation outside. May any guests arrive at 2 AM, they will also make sure to have a conversation with them in the room, just in case you’d like to join in.
This place fails to provide the one service it intends to: sleep. The lack of the staff’s civic sense is only exceeded by that of their clientele.
Save yourself the stress and get a hotel. They are the same price.
- JijiDingaling (8/5): - Great place for budget travelers like us. Nice roof top bar with music till 11pm. The staff was super friendly and helpful The room was a bit moist, and not the cleanest.
- Aman (8/5): -
- Ayush (8/5): Alright - Really close to taj mahal The night receptionist was a bit slow
- Nagdeo (2/5): - The staff who welcomed us was nice but the rest of the hostel was so bad. The construction around the hostel was disrupting.
I was there with my partner and it wasn't clean at all. The bed spread seemed dirty too
- Lenka (9/5): - Great rooftop! The staff was friendly and helpful. Nice place to meet other travelers with view on Taj
- KrisDR (8/5): -
- Luz (10/5): A place to recharge after a long day when you need the most. - staff was very friendly and helpfull, they provided us with a guide and a transportation during our stay, front desk welcome us very friendly, helped with luggage and also keept our packs after check out. Is is also 10 minutes walking distance from the Taj Mahal and rooms are confortable and clean.
- Ashmal (10/5): - Worth every penny ! ❤️👏🏻
- apolline (8/5): -
- Hector (7/5): -
- Brinksma (8/5): Great place to stay! - The rooftop is absolutely stunning and the restaurant is crazy cheap and delicious. Staff was really helpful when I needed to book a bus. The female dorm didn't have any windows, the bathroom was a bit smelly and the payment was unneccesarily difficult with a paymentlink that had to be emailed to me, didnt arrive etc.
- Kannan (5/5): -
- Libertad (5/5): Ubicación buena solamente - Ubicación Limpieza en concreto olor de las sábanas y edredon.
El agua no salía caliente
El personal
Limpieza del baño en concreto
- Kumar (2/5): - Disappointing room. Nothing. Neither room not stay
- Ritansh (10/5): - Nice hostel nice view
And all staff cool
And thnx for abhay bhai
- Dixit (10/5): -
- Gaja (9/5): Perfect - Private room is spacious, the food on the rooftop is very good, close to Taj Mahal
- Akshay (8/5): -
Ascensore mancante.
- Shubham (9/5): -
- Manas (2/5): Not value for money at all - The property is closer to Taj Mahal They did not provide buckets. The toiletries are not available. Tap water is salty as well. The room wasn’t clean.
- YOGENDRA (8/5): -
- Ravi (4/5): -
- Nimisha (2/5): Don't book it. Waste of money - The staff was cordial. I booked a standard room, which they said is the only 1 in the entire hotel. Despite the room was small, I somehow managed, however major issues with the cleanliness. There was water dripping from AC, nobody came for repair even after saying multiple times. On my 2nd day, I asked for room cleaning, hotel staff said the guy will come at 2pm, I gave the keys to clean the room, but still no one came.
It was not a great experience, I would prefer zostel over this any day.
- Acharya (1/5): You can find much better rooms for this price. Worst rated hosteller I've stayed in. - Bad housekeeping, and unkempt rooms
- Agrawal (7/5): Good -
- Jitesh (8/5): Very good -
- M. (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anushree (5/5): Passable -
- Supriya (8/5): it was my amazing stay - location

- Patel (8/5): Very good -
- Julius (10/5): Thank you for your hospitality and the great amenities - Perfect Hostel, value for money 100%.
The roof top has a panorama and even view on Taj. Walking distance away from the Taj Mahal.
Staff is very helpful and friendly. Definitely a gem if you are in Agra stay there for sure.
Staff even cut me my own fruits
11/10 Everything was great
- Nani (8/5): Very good -
- Judith (2/5): Very poor - The only positive aspect worth mentioning is the location close to the Taj Mahal, but unfortunately, that’s about it. I spent two nights in the female dorm and unfortunately, I have to say that there are several points of criticism.
Point 1: When I checked in, the room had only been cleaned very sporadically. The trash bins had not been emptied, there was no toilet paper, and the bathroom did not look like it had been thoroughly cleaned recently.
Point 2: The light at my bed unfortunately did not work. That was still manageable since I could use the main light instead.
Point 3: What really bothered me was the behavior of the guests on my last night. There was a wedding party staying at the property, and they were extremely loud into the early morning hours with drums and other noise. No consideration was given to the other guests. Children were running through the hallways screaming until 2 a.m., and there was absolutely no effort to maintain a quiet environment.
Additionally, it was very uncomfortable that unknown men entered the female dorm, so we had to take matters into our own hands and construct a makeshift lock from the inside to prevent the door from being opened from the outside. This was a truly unpleasant and unsettling situation.
Furthermore, I had arranged with the hotel manager for a tuk-tuk to be ready at 5 a.m. He assured me that someone would definitely be there. I relied on that, but at 5 a.m., no one showed up, and I had to walk to the main road with my luggage by myself. If something is promised, it should be followed through. I found that very disappointing.
- Pankaj (10/5): Exceptional -
- Priyanka (1/5): Not good facilities small rooms n suffocated - Only rooftop restaurant and view of taj Room and bed its very suffocated and bed was very uncomfortable
- Sharma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Merrifield (8/5): It was a short walk to the Taj Mahal and a quick trip to get to the fort. - Very close to the Taj Mahal and the food was good.
Rooftop patio has a good vibe and you can chat with fellow travelers.
- Frasat (7/5): Good -
- Deya (7/5): Good - Walking distance from Taj Mahal There wasn’t enough hot water for everyone, we had to wait quite long to take a shower.
- Vikesh (7/5): Good location for visiting Taj Mahal. - Good location, comfortable room. You can walk from the hostel to East Gate of Taj Mahal and have many souvenirs stores nearby. No hot water in the room. We followed the instructions to turn on the hot water but the difference was very little instead of freezing water we got cold water… Also private room has no windows and smells weird.
- Madhav (9/5): Superb - The staff and the view from the rooftop.
Rooms were comfortable and clean
- Patrick (10/5): Brilliant - A lovely hotel with an excellent view of the Taj Mahal. The staff were incredibly friendly and even more helpful. We left a charger in our room and the manager drove to the train station and gave it back to us.
- Chelsey (6/5): Budget friendly, great staff, nothing fancy - The rooftop with restaurant was nice after a long day of touring around.
The staff was extremely helpful! Anything we needed they were more than willing to help! The room wasn’t the cleanest, but the nice staff and price made up for that.
- Blanka (10/5): Exceptional - The usual Hosteller quality - well maintained with restaurant and nice staff. The rooftop with the Taj view is awesome also super good location.
- Thomas (10/5): Great location and helpful staff - The location was excellent (very close to the Taj Mahal) but the best thing about my stay was the friendly, helpful staff. I was provided with advice and information about all things Agra and ended up visiting places I wouldn’t have known about but for the Hosteller’s staff, Mohan the manager in particular. Nothing - great for a couple of days looking around Agra.
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Javed (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eklavya (10/5): The fantastic experience.. - Telling you the truth ,it was my first experience with hosteller and it was damm good , location is good just around 500 mtr from taj mahal . Staff was absolutely good even the owner is very humble person , definitely go for that without hesitation.jai hind🇮🇳 Everything was good .
- Sallthomp (5/5): Ok, probably wouldn't come again - Great location, really handy for walking to the Taj. Rooms ok, no windows. Rooftop bar nice, could do with comfy seats to make it nicer. Noisy, including a lot of noise from where the staff sit downstairs.
Didn't seem great value for money
- Ali (9/5): Superb - The hospitality of the staff(Raj).clean and quiet rooms. Safety and security
- Sheen (8/5): Place that won't disappoint anyone - The Staff are friendly helpful and go extra mile for guests.
Near the Taj Mahal is actually a advantage for the guests...
Room is spacious ,large lockers for guests and roof top cafe is a place where u can enjoy food Cons... 1. I would like more hygiene that's the only one reason
- Mohmd (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julian (9/5): Superb - We were six people in two rooms. We all enjoyed our stay. Reception was very helpful and booked us a guide for Taj Mahal at a very nice price. Rooms looks nice and beds were comfortable. Clean!
Also the cafe upstairs was cozy and the staff were welcoming. Our room could have had better soundproofing. And we had a window to the hallway, and not outside 😂
- Bosen (7/5): Good -
- Rupinder (3/5): Room smelt of mould and no hot water available - The location here was pretty good, decent enough to be able to walk to the Taj. This was meant to be a deluxe double room but it did not feel like it. The room smelt mouldy, particularly from the wardrobe where the bath towels were kept. There was no window in the room so that made it feel quite dark and depressing. What bothered me most was the shower water never got hot, even when switching the boiler on and waiting for enough time. It got chilly here in the evenings so that was very frustrating. There was also no wifi available for my second day and most of the third day. I wouldn't recommend this place to others overall as it didn't feel comfortable.
- Abdullah (10/5): Friendly and hospitable place. - Very good property and friendly staff.
- Ankita (10/5): Best Stay in Agra - The Staff is really helpful, they assist you from the moment you step in and property is really very clean.
Very much recommended to the guest who prefers hostels. Great vibe.
- Nd (8/5): Very good -
- Nino (7/5): Good - There was no hot water.
- Mishra (10/5): Exceptional - The Staff was friendly and rooms were clean and hygienic Everything was good
- Gareth (8/5): Very good -
- Neringa (8/5): Very good - Clean, good rooftop Everything was good, maybe soap in shower room would be nice. Hostel looked very modern, all good just somehow didnt feel real backpackers vibe.
- Khilesh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Reshma (9/5): Superb -
- Jessica (8/5): Very good -
- Sanu (7/5): Good -
- Shivani (6/5): Good for 1 night in Agra - Proximity to taj mahal, rooftop bar and restaurant, able to leave suitcases and hang around after checkout WiFi wasn’t working in the rooms. Some of the rooftop staff were really friendly but some were very pushy
- Chhipa (9/5): Superb -
- Chhipa (9/5): Superb -
- Sajir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chetana (7/5): Good - It was good for staying, people were cooperating. People, and friendly environment
- Rai (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sagar (8/5): Great experience. - Location and staff behaviour. If a separate locker facility was available, that would be an added advantage to secure valuable gadgets and Ornaments.
- Ken (7/5): Good - Clean
Hot water
Team members friendly
Good vibes Lack of indoor space to chill out, only reception and 1 small room, otherwise its on the roof terrace which can be cold in winter
- Priya (1/5): Bad - I did not like anything.. the room was so bad.. the staff behaviour was so bad.. after asking water also they didn't provide water... They didn't help us to get the luggage to the room. Not comfortable at all.. very suffocating rooms. I didn't like anything
- Cayer (6/5): Pleasant - The manager still owes me money and i had to pay extra because he didn’t see my email and message on booking telling him that im coming late to pay for my second night so he apparently canceled it even tho so many beds were free. Always trying too make money those Indians
- Blake (10/5): Exceptional - Good location. Was clean. Rooftop is a nice area. Staff were very friendly
- Kapil (10/5): Exceptional - Staff Rooftop cafe..
- Sadique (10/5): Best affordable and clean stay - Comfortable stay and affordable price Na
- Clif (10/5): Exceptional - Awesome experience and ambience.
- Yadav (7/5): Good - Clean room Outside food wasn’t allowed
- Wasim (7/5): Good -
- Ziga (7/5): Good - Staff and internet, location There's was an electricity outage for the whole block of buildings (which is none of the staff's problem) but we were out of power for about 6 hours. The room and the bathroom has no window, just a glass that does not open thus having lots of moisture
- Subhasis (4/5): Disappointing - Nothing The washrooms were dirty and stinking.
Linen was not washed.
No ventilation in the washroom.
- Vibhorika (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sekhar (8/5): Nice stay with nice people -
- Harmeet (9/5): Excellent - The service was very good specially the the staff ( receptionist) was too much supportive and cooperative. The ventilation was not good in the rooms
- Valentin (2/5): Don't go to India! - I had 103.5 degrees (39.5) fever, and the owner was so kind to escort me to the hospital The staff was rude, they were talking very loudly (they were shouting), while I was lying in my bed with very high fever. They knew about my sickness, and the owner actually was standing next to them.
I had to ask them to please respect a sick person and be quiet.
Agra? It's a sewery. Cow shit, stinky everywhere, the drivers honk all the time, people burp, fart and spit in front if you.
- Anne (8/5): Great stay, recommend! - Very helpful manager, modern facilities, lovely rooftop, good food, convenient location next to Taj Mahal! There was no wifi in our room or on the roof top.
- Lilia (6/5): Pleasant - -Near to taj Mahal
-Rooftop with kitchen
-Staff very nice help with tuktuk for early train in the morning -Noisy
-No window in the room
-More or less clean, toilet not clean
-There is a strong smell of paint in the room. It’s necessary to wait at least one day before renting out a room after repainting. It’s also important to vacuum again after any renovation work, as it creates dust
- Anne (8/5): I would say “European” hostel in India. -
- Julie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kerry (3/5): Poor -
- Raj (9/5): Superb - Near to Taj Noise
- Rishab (6/5): Pleasant -
- Anny (5/5): overall good - overall i had a good first impression with the staff that helped me check in, the place is in a convenient place and everything is quite clean. upon check out, i was leaving early in the morning around 6, the staff that work there sleep in the lobby. as i was waiting for my ride, another man that helped me check out and also was sleeping where i was waiting did something off putting. i didn't want to assume but it looked like he was jacking off under his sheet with me in the room. i tried to ignore it but i then heard his zipper go up. he ruined this experience for me. he was not discrete about his actions either, it was obvious.
- Patrick (7/5): Good - Rooftop terrace, location was good Checkin was complicated and it was pretty loud in the night. Room without window.
