• Karen (8/5): We had lovely experience over only 2 nights Downtown Cairo = Crazy Garbage city - Beds and bed linen good comfort > hotel style.Plus en-suite just hose whole place down. Small efficient kitchenette. Shops etc all at arm's length. Uber collection is very easy. Street noise is not type to keep awake and I am from rural Ireland. Hot water taps with good pressure Egyptian standard is generally lower than. 1sy WORLD so not hotel issue. Entrance and stairs rough but again its Cairo and not Hotel issue as hotel occupie one floor. Once I knew these points from reviews I was prepared and it was not so bad.

• Moatasem (9/5): - Everything is good location, Clean, Staff, ... I liked the view from the balcony it was very fantastic for me. The size of the room is very convenient It's kind of nosey but that's normal because it is literally in the middle of the downtown

• Mathias (10/5): excellent place to stay! real worth for its good price and excellent location. - lovely place to stay. very clean and very safe. the staff is really friendly. it’s excellent location enabled me to reach the train station, some bus stations and many restaurants and coffee shops houses just within a 15-minute walking radius. very good price given its location and it’s cleanliness. nothing to say. everything was perfect.

• Jera (5/5): For the price, it was a great stay. - The staff was very helpful and kind. Very noisy, busy area due to curt traffic. Therefore s lot of fumes.

• Ummahn (10/5): Wonderful Experience - My experience at Venus hostel has been very wonderful! The staff was very helpful and accommodating towards all of my needs. The rooms are kept clean and the environment is very quiet which I truly appreciate as a solo female traveler. The location is ideal for those who would like to be close to major shops and transportation. I highly recommend Venus hostel and I am grateful for the wonderful experience!

• Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - If you have a reason to stay in downtown cairo this is an excellent place so long as the elevator is working. The price can't be beat, it's very clean. Close to transit, lots of street food in the area. Half the window was gone, so the AC had to stay on the entire time. The elevator was after the first two days and it's a 10th floor walk up.

• N (4/5): Noisy nightstand with central location - +good location - easy to move around due close by metro/train stations -incredibly loud. Inside the room my dB-meter averaged 70-80 dB (loud conversation level), when windows opened the meter stood close 100 dB (subway train loudness) -hard possibly to find. There's no signage of the place on ground level. Go 10th floor with the suspicious looking elevator carefully.

• Jani (6/5): Pleasant - Good location just a few minutes walking distance from train station. Room is very noisy at night since there is busy junction just down. Even when the room was in 10. floor. Room needs renovation, not a good condition. There was a space for personal toilet but it was under construcion. Place is hard to find since no indication no at street level and also no information what floor to go with lift. Asking local guys at the hallway sorted it out finally.
