Guest Reviews
- Armani (1/5): Bad -
- Panigrahi (7/5): Good -
- Nawir (7/5): Good - near station and easy to find.
- Jason (9/5): Good Place to Stay! 😊 - The room price is more affordable than others on the weekend.
My booking included free breakfast at the café on the first floor—you get a set meal with a drink. I chose coffee, and it was great!
The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the location is super convenient, just a short walk from the subway station.
There’s also free drinking water available. They do not provide free towels and pajamas.
There's an extra charge if you want to store your luggage.
- Gianluca (6/5): Pleasant -
- Frenette (7/5): Good -
- Ethan (9/5): Superb -
- Peyyun (9/5): Very high C/P value - Mattress is pretty soft. Breakfast is fine: Toast, omelette & latte made at leisure, with nice vibes on the first floor. Restores you to your sanity If a guy decides to snore, my Goodness, everyone will be sleepless from 2am... Also the sanitation of the toilet would be at the mercy of the former person as well ..
- Jonathan (8/5): Very good - The room was good, the lounge was comfortable, and the café downstairs was nice.
- Yuhuan (8/5): Overall it is a good hotel - Most hostels don't have staff there for inquiring. But this one, the staffs are working at the coffee house on the first floor , they help you to check in. And you can always ask them for help Only one shower room and one toilet on the 2floor, sometime you need to go to the toilet on the first floor.
- Hassan (2/5): Very poor -
- John (7/5): Good -
- Hua-hsuan (1/5): The staff’s attitude is the reason why I rate it 1. My flight arrived at Narita Airport at 7pm, and I booked this hostel - The location is the only acceptable thing, but the closest subway station exit doesn’t have an elevator or escalator, so it’s a big trouble for people with heavy suitcases. And the hostel gate is very unrecognizable that I missed it and searched for it for over 10 minutes, I had to ask a passenger’s help to find it. The staff’s attitude is the reason why I rate it 1. Please check the below experience sharing.
The ladder for the bunk bed is dangerous. The room is stinky. I’m the type of person that fall asleep very easily and almost never get disturbed when I sleep, but I couldn’t sleep at all because it was so noisy, the guy next to my bed was snoring very loudly, and the guy below my bed was playing white noise or some kind of music. I couldn’t sleep until 3am. The photos are my broken luggage in the room, and the instant noodles I ate at their public place. I forgot to take photos of this hostel, and these are the only photos I have about this hostel.
- Satoru (8/5): Great location, price and staff - Great location Cleanness
- Gustavo (5/5): Not so good, but okay. - The hostel offers excellent value for money, with fair pricing, a modern infrastructure, clean bathrooms, and comfortable beds.
However, there is room for improvement in some of the hostel’s policies and operations. Certain rules are not aligned with the standards provided by other accommodations in the market, which can negatively impact the guest experience. The manager was unnecessarily rude and impolite regarding the check-out process. The hostel has some unnecessarily strict rules, which create a stressful environment and an unpleasant experience.

- Manasa (6/5): Pleasant -
- Takeshi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Reg (4/5): Disappointing - The location was good - seconds away from a metro stop.
The staff were pretty friendly, and it was cheap by Tokyo standards. Everything else.
It wasn’t clean, and didn’t feel clean.
Sinks were tiny making even brushing your teeth awkward, also the ladders are just not fit for purpose and get in everyone’s way.
Someone in the same room as me said he found mites in his bed which caused me to be very anxious during my stay.
Last but not least, the “gym” was a box room with 3 machines in it, one of them a type of leg curl. It costs 1,000 JPY per hour!! Which is crazy - and you can’t use it if someone else is already using it.
I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but I would not come back.
To try to leave it on a good note - the hostel is a nice space and has potential, but it just needs to sort out the cleaning and the geometry of how things are setup.
- Progress (7/5): Basic and sufficient - I like how quiet the hostel was. This is important for proper sleep. I also liked that everything was clean & organized. Multiple floors can be found and each floor serves a purpose. I thought the setup was creative. There was free water for the guests, which was great, convenient and economical I thought the space was very limited and the staff member was not so personable. He was nice, but he just seemed a little cold. I think the hostel needs to have a supply of affordable towels-for-rent for guests. It would make the stay more comfortable.
- Ráchel (8/5): Very good - The staff speaks very good english. The food at the cafe at lvl 1 is good and priced well too. There are multiple showers and toilets (even though most of them on different floor). Bed was comfortable.
- Dinglasan (7/5): Extremely convenient. - Location was just 3 minutes away from the subway and train station, it was near a couple of parks, some stores, and was just walking distance away from the Sumida river. The cafe downstairs was great even if a bit pricey, it was still great coffee. During my stay, a Sukiya was about to open but I just missed it. I wished that they could provide slippers even the disposable ones to guests, this was remedied by a 7-11 nearby.
The trash bins could have been cleared out daily.
The shower while generally clean, got clogged, so I cleared it myself before I showered. Strong water pressure though.
Lastly, I wish there was a clothes hook inside the toilet and the shower room.
- Sharov (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julio (8/5): Very good -
- Sam (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kevin (5/5): Passable - Very soft bed and very comfortable Not much facilities. No Microwave where you can heat food. Very limited shower rooms. No powder room.
- Marisa (7/5): Good -
- Chelo (1/5): Bad -
- Sajay (7/5): Good -
- Ethan (8/5): Very good -
- Naoki (2/5): Very poor - - Relatively clean.
- It faces a busy street and is very close to a train station.
- The small private co-working rooms, living room, and rooftop are quite nice. - There’s no microwave or kettle.
- Luggage storage is not free before or after your stay. Since check-in starts at 3 PM, you wouldn’t want to arrive in the morning.
- I chose this place because of the photos of the gym, but it turned out to be a paid gym, which is more expensive than a drop-in at a proper gym outside. Who expects a tiny gym with only a piece of equipment or two isn't free.
At this point, they probably should charge for using shower and toilet too.
- The guy at the reception/bar was unnecessarily rude. He spoke in a deliberately rude manner. I gave a low score as I really disliked that.
- Wui (9/5): Superb - Location is good and it is near the metro station. You can also access the property with an access card provided if you need to go out during midnight. A locker could be provided to residents who want to store their belongings.
- Sagar (1/5): Bad -
- Nina (4/5): Disappointing - The location was good. No kitchen, bathrooms dirty, you had to get a key downstairs to use the bathrooms upstairs.
- Hippolyte (10/5): Exceptional - Nice staff, best beds a hostel can have, well placed close to Akihabara !
- Francisco (10/5): Exceptional -

- Raihan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Florian (1/5): Bedbugs! - I had to leave after midnight because I found bedbugs in my bed ! It was not cleaned at all and I had to reserve a new hotel in urgency.
Impossible to get refund too.
My worst stay so far.
Bedbugs! This is disgusting, I would rather not sleep at all then having to go through that
- Etienne (8/5): Very good - The staff is great, there all the anemities available + a gym room, private working area, and a rooftop terrace with a smoking area. You can easily forget your keycard and be locked outside. A password would be better in my opinion. Also, I stayed in the bottom bunk but climbing up to the top bunk seems quite difficult.
- Darius (9/5): great everything! would definitely recommend! - loved the staff, the modern vibe, the amazing beds, and the availability of the café! the showers and restrooms were on the 5th floor, however there was no airconditioner there, so when you come out of the shower and you’re on the top floor it was super hot so you immediately started sweating again. therefore i preferred the shower on the 2nd floor, however there was only one.
- Lok (8/5): Very good - Staffs are very helpful The working rooms or cubicles need extra charging of fees
Must keep the window open to prevent smell from being trapped cos it's a big room sharing btw a lot of pp
- Zakiyah (9/5): Pretty good - The place is pretty clean, the bed was quite comfy too. The shower room is small but everything works well, they have hairdryers. The roof top was nice too!. Location is 2 min walking distance to Asakusabashi station and plenty of food around the corner. Towel was not included. 500 yen for keeping your luggage after check in (it's ok I don't mind).
- Piotr (2/5): Bedbugs! Beware! - The staff was nice. Check in was fast and early. Free coffee coupon. Bedbugs! I got bitten a few times. Seems to be luck of the draw here if you get infested beds. Sure, you get what you pay for, but now I'll walk around with big red lumps on my neck and body the next few days. All in all more on the dirty side. If you take a shower you either wake everyone up, or have to go to the top floor with a key card from the first floor. I can stomach an uncomfortable bed for one night, but leaving itching all over with the fear of having infested luggage is unacceptable.
- Nael (9/5): great - near transport in the center of tokyo, clean and cheap the space to get to your bed :(
- Alice (8/5): Very good -
- Daichi (2/5): Poor service and unfriendly staff - Be careful cuz when I texted them that I will check in around midnight, they suddenly said about additional charge 1500 yen for late check-in.
Even though it’s their fault and I wanted to cancel without paying cancel fee, they can’t accept it. Very poor service quite disappointed.
The dormitory is also not clean and some another guests told me there are bedbugs
- Seppe (9/5): Best accommodation in Tokyo yet - Clean, cosy dorm room with good AC, friendly staff, nice rooftop terrace, working space and living area, cheap breakfast Floors were a bit dirty
- Chen (7/5): Good - Very compact hostel, has all you need. Great public sofa and rooftop area. Great price. Shower room is very tight and you need to remember bringing your own towel.
1st floor bar could get crowded some days of the week.
- Sean (10/5): Exceptional - Bed very comfortable, staff nice
- Hiroyuki (8/5): Very good -
- Kalle (9/5): Good base for Akiba adventuring - Very handy location, next to Asakusabashi station. There was a girl in the reception who spoke very little English, but then there was a guy who spoke excellent English. Good base for checking out Akihabara. It's quite easy to get locked out of the dorm room if you forget the key card, and that can be embarrassing.
- Vincenzo (10/5): Awesome if you want to visit Akihabara - Good position, good staff, super clean Nothing
- Estelle (8/5): Really good - The staff was super friendly and ready to help!
The beds are comfortable and the drinks are delicious. Sometimes people don't clean after themselves, but I know it's not the staff's fault. People just need to be more respectful.
- Kat343 (3/5): Poor - Location. Close to the subway station - Bedbugs! Got bitten a lot.
- The card key system is quite secure but if you forget bringing it with you, you are basically not able to enter the facility.
- the overall vibe is more like an office building turning into an interim hostel. Very very tiny showrooms and restrooms. Not a very comfortable and relaxing vibe.
- Amber (6/5): Pleasant - Location, lounge area, cafe downstairs. It’d be nice if you got a free towel for a like or follow. But you’d get a free coffee or tea for a follow I believe. Women’s only bathroom was nice but could have been a bit cleaner. Someone hung up sour laundry or had smelly feet. Ruined the overall bed/ sleeping area experience as it made dorm reek! The bathrooms could have been cleaner and the washer was broken. Would be nice if there were rentable lockers/luggage storage.
- Grace (7/5): Good - Really close to the station and the beds were very comfortable! The bathrooms didn’t feel very clean but they weren’t terrible. Had to pay ¥500 to store luggage for a couple of hours after check out… felt a bit expensive!
- Angeline (5/5): Passable - The Location is very near to Asakusabashi Station (exit 6). Nearby there are convenience store ( 7 Eleven & Family Mart). There is additional fees for late check in (After 10PM -local time). Also, we requested for late check out. Initially the staff is okay, but he didn't inform us after certain time they will be a late check out charges. Would appreciate if they can informed us earlier so we can do the necessary arrangement.
- King (9/5): The best if not, one of the best hostels in Japan 🇯🇵 - The staff are friendly, accommodating and approachable. I like the ambiance of the cafeteria and by the way, I love your coffee ☕️ Just the noise coming from the outside. Once we closed the entire window, there is no ventilation or air inside the room. Maybe it could be a different case during summer.
- Arporn (8/5): Very good -
- Sunbeen (1/5): Hmm.... - Location, Cleanness 1. Narrow check-in time. It only receives until 10 pm, and if you are late, they will charge you a late fee(1500yen)or close the door.
2. Baggage fee. if you leave your baggage before check-in or after check out, charge you 500yen, which is even more expensive than coin locker in subway station.
- Adria (2/5): Very poor -
- Marko (9/5): Superb - The bed was extra comfortable, clean, also showers, instructions are clear and staff extra friendly, they really wanna answer all your questions.
Location is in a calm street with all the shops & restaurants, ATMs reachable in 2 min walk.
Would stay again 💪😁 All clean with all the essentials (hairdryer, shampoos) except no towels
- Elena (9/5): Great stay! Great location! Great staff! - It has a great location, couple of minutes towards the nearest train station. The cafe itself (and the entrance at the same time) has a great vibe with staff greeting you every single time you walk in. Every single bed has their own outlet, small locker and lamp, and every bed is provided by two pair of curtains. There are enough toilets and showers available with a lot of privacy, and as a girl I loved it that there was a straighter, curler and blow dryer available. There’s also a common room on the top floor where they play some relaxing music trough out the whole day and night with plenty of seating options. I really loved this place and would definitely book again! Even tho the cafe and bedroom both had a nice temperature (I went at the beginning of March), the hallway and the bathroom where on the colder side. Not really a problem for me, just wear something warmer while getting ready.

- Simon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Axel (8/5): Very good -
- Sri (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dennis (9/5): Lovely place - This place has so much potential!
There are only 12 beds for 5 showers and 4 toilets on 5 floors.
Also a lot of places to chill at and very comfy beds.
The hotel-stuff is really cool and talkative.
I really loved it there, that's why i visited this place more than twice.
Very easy access to both airports. I feel like this place would be perfect,
if they cleaned the floor more regularly.
Luggage storage space in the room is slightly limited,
if fully booked out.
- Oshima (8/5): Very good -
- Yoshiyasu (1/5): Bad - - Some of the staff of this hostel was so bad, I mean their attitude for customers
- Yoshiyasu (1/5): Bad -
- Mohamed (1/5): I wouldn’t recommend!!! The manager is very rude. The place is very small. Lights in the room are always on and you can’ -
- Shinichi (8/5): Very good -
- Liying (8/5): nice new try in good location in Tokyo - asakusabashi station, one of my favorite, with 1. metro asakusa line: direct to airports Haneda and Narita, 2. JR central line
one minute walk form the nearest exit A6 is stairs only but other exits with elevator/escalator are not too far, less than 5 minutes walk.
first floor is a café.
access card for the main entrance when the café is closed.
with elevator.
access card for room and shower rooms.
toilet every floor.
water machine and trash can at the entrance of the room.
every bed: curtain, bed light, sockets, clothes hangers, can store baggage under.
very clean.
free wifi. storage for luggage before check-in coasts ¥500.
- Sebastian (8/5): Very good - The staff was very nice.
The bed was super comfortable.
It has many extra things like a co-working space, a gym and terrace. Towel is only provided against a fee.
- Anchuk (10/5): Exceptional -

- Russell (9/5): Superb -
- Braeden (10/5): Great safe stay - Most of the regular staff were amazing No comment
- Sk (1/5): Worth of money. They are harassment me without any reason for extra charges. - Only location is good nothing else. The staff behaviour very bad and rude with me and others customer also .They couldn't provide me very dirty and not clean bed when i check-in this hostel. wifi is not working properly . no have kitchen area in this hostel. They are extraa charged me without any reason when i check-out.I suggest don't waste money in this kind of hostel.
- Sri (9/5): Superb -
- Shogo (9/5): Superb -
- Jan (8/5): Very good - I like that it is near the station and there are restaurants and convenience store near the area.
- Kristof (1/5): No answer at all. - - I couldn’t check in…
- Marcela (1/5): Very unpleasant experience. - When I booked this place I mentioned that I’ll be checking in after 22:00 pm. The booking was approved by the property but I was informed check in is not possible after 22:00 unless I pay extra. Immediately I’ve kindly asked for them for a refund as I wasn’t going and they didn’t even bother to reply. I guess they just used the bed for someone else. It’s very upsetting.
- Braeden (10/5): Exceptional -
- Braeden (10/5): Amazing - Every staff member is amazing would rate 11/10 if possible Coffee is great
- Alina (8/5): Great place to spend your time in Tokyo - It’s a new hostel so all facilities look like almost non-used. The bed was extremely comfortable, staff very friendly and they also have cafe/bar on the first floor where you can have breakfast/lunch or hang out in the evening.
There was also very spacious living room on the 5th floor where you can work, eat or just spend time. There is a common space in dormitory where you can leave your luggage, but it’s not that big and if hostel is full and everyone places their things there, there might be a mess there.
- Tschavdar (9/5): Superb -
- Cangrehilla (3/5): Poor - Great location The Futons and Rooms Smells so bad.
- Sri (9/5): Amazing extended stay - Technically this is my extended stay in this hostel. I enjoy staying here and I love the coffee and toast they have. Also, I forgot to mention this earlier but they have a water dispenser available in the room with hot and cold water options. Nothing in particular.
