My floor and wall shake for whole night. SUPER BAD. - Only 2 shower in the whole building, need to wait somehow. - No fan in cabin, hot.

• keeeelly (7/5): Spacious Beds and Great Facilities, but the Location and Comfort Had Some Drawbacks - 1. Sleeping Space: The individual bed space was quite large, which was very convenient for travelers carrying a lot of belongings. 2. Facilities: The kitchen was fully equipped and even provided a luggage scale for guests to weigh their suitcases, which was a thoughtful touch. 3. Laundry Convenience: Although there was no washing machine in the accommodation itself, there was a coin laundry and dryer near a nearby supermarket within walking distance. The hostel also provided laundry detergent, which was helpful. 4. Overall Experience: Aside from a few minor inconveniences, the overall stay was very comfortable and pleasant. 1. Bathroom Layout: The bathroom could only be accessed by walking through the common area and kitchen, which felt a bit awkward at times. 2. Insects: Since many parts of the accommodation seemed to be made of wood, I encountered a large spider one night. 3. Location from Subway: The accommodation was a bit far from the subway station, which could be difficult for travelers carrying large suitcases. 4. Bed Mattress: The mattress was too soft, which made it uncomfortable to sleep on.
• tetsuya (9/5): - 8泊お世話になりました。 建物には年季がありますが、館内はとても清潔に清掃されており、滞在中は快適に過ごすことができました。 宿泊されている方は海外からのゲストが中心でしたが、皆さん静かに過ごされていて、落ち着いた雰囲気でした。 特に印象的だったのは、スタッフの皆様の温かく丁寧な対応です。宿泊業務だけでなく、海外のゲストの困り事にも親身になって対応されている姿がとても素敵でした。 最近は効率重視のホテルや民泊も増えていますが、こちらのように人の温かさを感じられる宿はとても貴重だと思います。また機会があればぜひ宿泊したいです。 特に思い当たりません。

• Bridget (1/5): Dump! - The location is good! The hostel is a complete dump. If you are asked to sign a no refund before seeing the room it's a dump. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Find another place to stay this is not it. You deserve better while on vacation/holiday.

Le charme et le caractère de l'auberge traditionnelle, les lits très confortables avec une petite alcôve dans chaque cabine qui permet de stocker directement ses sacs, très pratique ! Pour un premier séjour à Tokyo j'ai été charmée ! Nécessite un poil de transport pour relier certains quartiers mais Tokyo est si grande que leur importe où vous logerez c'est inévitable ! La cuisine propre et cosy. Si vous souhaitez croiser du monde ce n'était pas forcément l'auberge la plus sociable au moment où j'y suis passée (les espaces communs ne sont pas très grands et j'y ai croisé peu de gens) mais j'ai quand même pu échanger avec quelques voyageurs :) si vous souhaitez rester dans votre bulle ça sera parfait ! La lumière qui s'allume automatiquement dans les chambres même la nuit !

• Jocelyn (10/5): Hébergement très abordable dans un quartier très calme et agréable - Hébergement dans un quartier très calme, très propre et confortable. Je suis arrivé tard à l'hébergement en raison du vol d'arrivée, mais les instructions détaillées pour entrer m'ont été communiquées au préalable et tout s'est super bien fait. Le check-in s'est ensuite officiellement fait le lendemain matin. Situé juste à côté d'un Lawson, donc très pratique. Lumière avec détecteur de mouvement dans la chambre, elle ne reste donc pas allumée toute la nuit, ce qui est super pour le sommeil. Personnel très gentil et j'ai eu la chance d'échanger avec d'autres voyageurs (svp permettez ces échanges en n'étant pas toujours collés à vos téléphones ou en ayant des écouteurs en tout temps!) Un peu étroit à l'intérieur, mais ça fait partie de l'expérience! Pas de cadenas pour les casiers, prévoyez-en un ou bien achetez-en un dans un konbini (comme au Lawson qui est situé juste à côté). Pas de buanderie directement dans l'hébergement, mais c'est juste à deux pas. Un peu plus loin des centres d'intérêts, mais la marche est toujours agréable vers et en provenance du métro.

• Jonathan (8/5): A convenient stay in a more quiet and relaxed part of Tokyo - The private room I booked was a real treat, it happened to be separated above the hostel's office and was really quiet and comfortable. The bed was nice, overall the hostel was really clean and had good amenities and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is alright but next time I'd try to book somewhere even closer to the metro. Nothing to complain about concerning Nomad Hostel in itself.

It had everything I needed for the stay such as nice showers, clean toilets and room, kitchen and even some umbrellas to use while visiting around. The bed space was big enough to store my backpacks, but there is also an extra annex to store bigger luggage I could feel the use of the mattress, it was significantly more thin in the middle of it. • Jerica Kate (10/5): Best affordable hostel in Asakusa! - I really appreciated how affordable it is compared to booking a hotel room. The location is also very convenient, with easy transportation and close proximity to major attractions. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Tokyo. I also liked that I could work comfortably in the kitchen area at night. Honestly, nothing in particular comes to mind. I already knew it wasn’t a luxury stay, and for what it offers at its price point, it exceeded my expectations. It’s a great option if you’re looking for something affordable and practical.

The staff was really nice :) It’s not that modern, but this is not really a problem. The location wasn’t the best to me as I loved to go out in Shinjuku, but the area is really calm and it was cool to see this part of Tokyo too :)

Very close to several metro stations and walking distance from Asakusa animated center. Comfy and cozy to stay for a few days. Just for info, there is a washing machine but not directly in the hostel. There is an arrangement with the closeby convenient store. When the hostel is full there are way too many shoes and not enough space which blocks the entrance a bit...
• Dominik (8/5): Unbeatable for the price - Bathroom very clean, shampoo, toothbrushes, earplugs, laundry detergent etc. provided, large wide bed, super friendly staff, quiet area The house is incredibly noisy. The floorboards creak everywhere, and if you're not extremely careful, you'll constantly wake people up. However, if you make an effort, it's manageable. It's a 12-minute walk to the metro station.

• Jérémy (8/5): - L'emplacement de l'hôtel est très bien, la gare asakusa sur la ligne Ginza et Toei Asakusa est à 5-10 minutes à pied et la Tokyo Skytree est à 10-15 minutes à pied. Il y a aussi un Konbini (Lawson Store) a moins d'une minute ce qui permet d'acheter les essentiels très rapidement. Le personnel est aussi sympathique et sait parler et comprendre assez l'anglais. Les locaux sont assez petits.

• Laure (4/5): Disappointing, for that price, there are better hostel - Nothing exept the space available The humid smell of the bathroom (no correct aeration). The walls in a very poor state (to the point where you could think it is still in construction). The bathrooms are very cold. It is also a long stay place, so don’t expect to meet people there. No presentation of the hostel (kitchen, bathroom…) when I arrived, just my bed. My bed box was dirty, with hair on the floor. No good light to make up.

• Gabrielle (10/5): Une auberge de jeunesse propre, très confortable dans une maison typique et charmante. - Les hôtes sont disponibles et très gentilles. Emplacement pratique à quelques minutes à pied de deux lignes de métro. Le quartier est tranquille, c'est agréable après de longues journées à évoluer dans l'agitation Tokyoïte. Toutes les commodités indispensables sont très proches. J'ai aimé le mélange de calme et de moments conviviaux dans la cuisine quand je m'y trouvais.
