• Lisa (9/5): - La caravane est hyper charmante, et l'ambiance de l'hostel est incroyable. Les sanitaires sont tres propres rien à dire. Seulement dans la caravane, il y avait un peu de poussiere, étant toutes les 3 allergiques on a eu un peu de toux et de nez qui coule mais rien de grave pour 1 nuit c'était tres bien.

• Vittoria (2/5): The main issue was the lack of clear and honest communication, felt as a scam. - Nice place and staff. When we arrived, we asked if it was possible to pay by card, and the receptionist told us that we could do so without any extra charge from the hostel, only our bank’s commission would apply. However, when we actually paid, they converted the amount from euros to lek using their own exchange rate, which included an additional fee that had not been explained to us beforehand. In the end, we paid about €15 more than expected, which is almost the cost of an extra night in a single room at the hostel. When I tried to discuss the topic with the manager, he did not clarify the additional fee and instead blamed the bank, even though it was clear that the extra cost came from the hostel’s exchange rate, that in Tirana doesn't make any sense since every place has a fair exchange rate. If you plan to stay here, I would recommend paying directly in euros and avoiding payment in lek or by card.

• Jan (10/5): Lovely hostel with a strong sense of community even in low-season - Lovely hostel with real cozy and warm feeling. Attentive staff with a true sense of community. The spirit was alive even in low-season. Complementary breakfasts by two Albanian ladies were very good and extra-few dinner by Nico as well. Shoutout to Mike and Nico. I have a place to stay in Tirana now. :)

Mike es súper majo y muy atento a todas las peticiones. La ubicación es perfecta. Bastante bien la verdad. Cogimos la opción de la Caravana y no estaba del todo limpia... habían algunos mosquitos y el suelo estaba con algo de barro.

Kelvin y las.chicas estuvieron muy atentos a todas mis necesidades y me hicieron sentir muy cómodo. Todas las noches hay actividades para no aburrirte y socializar con los demás huéspedes. Quizá esté en mi top 5 de mejores hostels qué he estado , y he estado en muchos por toda Europa .La ubicación bastante bien, es una calle trasera sin apenas acera.pero en 10 minutos andando estás en la plaza Skandenberg. Sin duda volvería a alojarme aquí, solo o con amigos. La calle de.acceso es un poco estrecha y luego una ducha no conseguí abrir agua caliente, pero bueno, por decir alguna cosa sin importancia

In a good location, close to center and easily walkable The bathrooms were very cramped could do with some more and shower hooks and the bedrooms need serious improvement. • Ana Clara (1/5): Poor maintenance on beds - I feel sorry having to leave a negative review because the personnel were very kind, but unfortunately I need to report a serious safety concern. During my stay, the top bunk in my room partially broke, and part of it almost fell onto the lower bunk. Thankfully, nobody was injured, but this could have been very dangerous. I informed the hostel personnel and I hope the management will repair or remove the broken bed to prevent future incidents.

• Katie (7/5): - Facilities were passable. Bunk beds aren’t very stable, some also missing privacy curtains. Shower set up not the most user friendly as there is no where to put items while showering. Some of the volunteers at the hostel just hung around on the front deck drinking and smoking all day, which didn’t create the nicest of atmospheres. Cleaning could be improved, shoes off policy not so good when the floors are dirty.

Facilities are nice as well. Very nice garden. breakfast and dinner is very good. And the price is super okay. If i am back in Tirana thats the place i will stay. I would definetly recommend.

• Destiny (10/5): My (and potentially your) home in Tirana - I’ve been there 3 times. Doesn’t it say enough? I’m greeted by warm hugs (too warm for the sweltering summer heat but anyway), there are staff that get me, central location and free breakfast (not the package croissants bullshit it’s homemade stuff by nana) where you can link up with other travelers. AC keeps rooms cool throughout the day. Why would you want to stay anywhere else. Oscar the bear is still there and well. So thanks for that. The staff couldn’t change the weather and adjust the temperature. Too hot!

• Destiny (10/5): Where you leave your worries behind - What’s there not to like? Free breakfast and family style dinner let you link up with other travelers. Friendly and helpful staff at your disposal, singing about how radio sucks balls. Close to everything—even a strip club (but you ain’t getting in if you are a lady. I asked!). By the way I can’t pick out my favorite staff member because I love them all, so they should all get a free beer. Except Jacob, since apparently he’s not a staff. This is my second time staying here and it was just as good. Extra points for taking good care of beloved Oscar bear (you can hug him. He gives good hugs). It’s a crazy fun place.
• Daria (7/5): Good - The territory is very nice, staff is also very nice, socializing events It is just an okay hostel, nothing really-really good in particular, I got tricked by the great reviews and I dont understand who are those people who rate it has 9 and 10. Among all the hostels I've been to, it is definitely not the cleanest one (especially the bathrooms, showers are fine), the breakfast has a poor variety and is not tasty, i couldnt finish mine. Also come with slippers bc they ask you to take off the shoes going in, what I honestly dont like, bc I saw people with holes and toenail fungus - taking off shoes in common area is a never good thing for me. But I had my own slippers, so I was lucky. Also it was my second hostel in Tirana, and i regreted I didnt stay my whole stay in my first, that was newer and cleaner, with a tasty breakfast, and also has better a price. So I would rate it as - not great, not bad, just an average. A really good thing for extroverts - people that lke socializing will be happy, because it has events every evening. Another good thing - you can pay by card.

Nice clean dorms with good air conditioning plus a decent breakfast. The showers were a bit small and some of them had no hooks for your clothes so it was tricky to shower without getting things wet.

• Ewan (10/5): The Best Hostel Ever!! - The best hostel I have ever stayed at! Immediately booked for more days upon arrival after arriving and feeling right at home. The staff are so welcoming and eager to help out if you need it. Super fun, everyone I met there was very friendly and there were plenty of fun events to join in with. The vibes are really chill, easy going and the facilities were great with good beds, hot showers and a good kitchen for personal cooking (if you don't join in the delicious family dinner). Special shout out to Jacob, Ashley, Brenda, Zuzu and Renato for making me feel like one of the family! Made a lot of good friends and memories here, love you guys!! No complaints
• Rosanna (10/5): Friendly, fun, sociable, welcoming. - Loved my stay here. Super friendly and helpful staff. The meals made in house were delicious and nutritious and really affordable. So many activities organised and went as a group to a local pastry shop which I highly recommend. I think it was called Le Bon. Close to the shops and fruit markets. Can easily get a bus close to the hostel. Lockers were very spacious and beds are comfortable and nice thick duvets. Showers and toilets were great but could be improved with more hooks to hang things. I cannot recommend this more!! No complaints at all.

• Davidschaffer (10/5): A great place to enjoy Tirana and socialise. - The staff are all amazing, but the cooks might be even better. The breakfast was ways a great start to the day. Showers and toilets were always avalible and a shot of raki costs 1 euro. They also seem to always organise events, in the two days we were there we saw a karaoke night, dinner party and pub quiz. It is a great place to socialise. I also saw a pretty cool lizard. Nights can be sometimes loud, especially with karaoke nights. But it really wasn't a problem.

• Berna (10/5): A bit cold, but nonetheless the best hostel I’ve stayed at so far. - What I liked most was: 1) the staff there - amazing, friendly, felt like hanging with family. They tried their best to make our stay feel magical. But also 2) sitting on the terrace upstairs in the morning, having a cup of coffee and chatting with other travellers was absolutely magical. Feels like you’re just chilling at home on a couch on the balcony, fresh air, blankets - can’t brag enough. All these aside, the activities were cute too, there was a quiz night and a social night with another hostel in the city. It was both very chill but also very entertaining at the same time. The only small complaint I could give is that the rooms are very cold if it’s not summer season, and if you happen to get cold very fast this might be an issue. Especially on the top bunks, it tends to be even colder. But pack warm and you’ll be fine.
• Ana (9/5): Superb - I had a great time in this hostel. The staff is super friendly and they make you feel like home. My flight arrived late but they arranged a taxi for me and waited for a late check in (thank you Adrien). The room was comfy and espacious and I loved the terrace.
