• Dominik (1/5): Bad - Booked hostel online. Was closed when I arrived and no one answered the Phone when I called. Had to find another place.
• Arkadiusz (7/5): Good - My goal was skiing in Daňha, which I did and that makes me happy. I also go the whole house for myself, which is nice. And it’s cheap. The problem is not often the houses used therefore is very cold. it was me to make a fire in the fireplace to make it warmer which is fun but if you have no idea how to do it , you won’t. Additionally the owner claimed all this time that’s there should be Wi-Fi while we both knew that it wasn’t. A great adventure for one night. But nothing beyond that.

• Gurabardhi (1/5): Don’t recommend - The only thing that I liked was the location. Pretty close to Bulevardi. This was the worst experience ever. I booked this place for the night hoping that it be decent. I wasn’t expecting nothing fancy but I hoped that it would be at least clean. The house was very old but that doesn’t justify that fact that every corner had at least 1-2 spiders. One of the bedroom didn’t have the bedsheets changed, they changed them the moment we arrived. The towels at the bathroom were stained and as I mentioned before the spiders were hanging from the ceiling. Wouldn’t recommend to no one. If you don’t want to sleep with spiders crawling down your head, don’t go there.

Well.. as seen in other comments, I guess that the host will answer this comment questioning me and my ethical behavior so, i will start saying that this is nothing personal. Actually, as he never appeared during our stay, he was nice through WhatsApp. I rated the stay with a 1, knowing that this is probably a 2 or a 3 at least because the location is nice, the wifi works and the house has potential, but I consider that it is just unfair that I found this place in Booking with a rate of 7, so this average needs to be lowered down. Sorry for that. The problem was all the rest, starting with the fact that I saw no one taking care of the hostel at any time and that finding the Hostel took so much time and help from the nice local people around. And the most important, the hygiene was so bad. So bad. I could put a lot of examples, starting with those insane fridge and oven, continuing with the dust in every surface of the house and finishing with the bedclothes. I had goosebumps, really. (I'm not picky at all. I would say I'm the type of person that could sleep almost anywhere) The stay, sadly, was very uncomfortable. Fortunately, Korça Beer Fest was happening in town and helped us a bit :) I have travelled all around the world and can say that I have never experienced that careless in the ruling of an accomodation. As I said, I guess the host is going to answer me. So first, please, think that I'm not trying to harm you or your business. Please take this as a constructive comment, invest some time putting good care on your place, it has potential. Clean it up as we all deserve, and you will have a really nice hostel, with a really nice location in a really nice city.

• Arianna (4/5): Only hostel in town: dirty, cold and difficult to find - I extended my stay 'cause I loved Korçe, nice city centre and plenty of hiking opportunities in the area. Unfortunately, I do not have the same enthusiasm about the hostel. They keep getting guests (me included) 'cause there are no other hostels in town. Pity 'cause it's conveniently located, 20 mins walk from bus terminal and close to all tourist attractions. The owner is a mystery to me: super nice and friendly on the phone, but I never saw him, the hostel is not looked after and his answers to guests' reviews on Booking.com are very rude... I wouldn't expect this from a nice person. The hostel is very dirty, freezing cold and there's no staff. I understand it's a cheap accommodation but cleanliness is not a luxury, it's a basic requirement. For the same price in Albania I slept in spotlessly clean hostels, with staff always available. Also, the hostel is very difficult to find 'cause the position on Google Maps is wrong, there's no sign outside and local people don't know this place. It's even more annoying considering it's close to a main street, with the right info you'll find it very easily. Why does the owner do not inform guests before they arrive? Also, there's no staff so when you finally find the place (after maybe 1-2 hours walking around, no kidding) you have to call. This too is something guests should now before they arrive.

• Maxence (1/5): Worst Hostel ever seen - Friendly host - arrived quickly (there is no reception on site) once we were there although we had booked last minute. Closed and secure courtyard for the bikes. Good location (hard to find because there is no sign with hostel vila name ! Looks like an ordinary house on the street) Had our own room as only one other guest here. The worst hostel we have slept in ever. One star only for location and people who greeted us who did their best... Generally feels like the house is not cared for, overall felt very unwelcoming. No light bulb in the kitchen. No gas in the stove. Not a kitchen you can really cook in. We had to use our own camping gear. No toilet roll for the whole house House is freezing - no heating (just one small electric one in the bedroom) No sign in front of the house mentioning the name of the place or the fact that it is a hostel, seems like an ordinary house on the street which makes it hard to find even with the right address, nobody at the house upon arrival (good thing we had internet to contact them, otherwise you’re stuck!) House is not clean. Dust everywhere and the floor is not clean. Sheets didnt feel clean either All in all, we’ve slept in much more welcoming and equipped places for the same price in Albania! I would never recommend this place.

• Zhen (8/5): Overall a pleasant stay - The staff was nice to allow me to use a different room as a man staying in the dorm room was smoking. The hostel has the lowest price in Korce! Don’t doubt about the location given by Booking.com it’s accurate just look for ‘1926’ at the door and you’re at the right place Booked a dorm room but it seemed like there is a permanent occupant who was smoking in the room. There’s only one bathroom

• Fabio (8/5): Very good - The position in nice, the price is cheap, the hostel is good. The position of the hostel is nice, but it does not coincide with the indicated one. It's not so far, but is different so it was complicated locate the hostel, I needed the help of a local who called the host. I was reached by a woman and his two children and I went to the hostel with them. The bolier was off at my arrive. Moreover I recevied two other guests because the host never was in the hostel during my stay. I gave them my keys, I was going to sleep, so i did not need them.
