Guest Reviews
- penprapa (10/5): Kind owner, cute town - Juan, the owner, is incredibly kind and has a great service mind, making travelers from afar like us feel very welcome. Juan also gave us a ride to another staying. The accommodation might not be large, but it's fully equipped (we stayed in a room with a kitchen). The location is convenient. Almost none. We are very satisfied.
- Ivo_CZ (10/5): - Nice surprise after first entering the "reception". Romm is modern and well equipped. Double heater was provided to keep warm. Bit difficult to find.
- Natalie (10/5): -
- Germán (9/5): Espectacular. - Juan siempre a disposición.

- John (7/5): Friendly and helpful host, but has space to improve. - Good location and friendly host. He let us use his kitchen and even let us use his hiking sticks. Great person. His facility is new. Heating is not strong. WiFi signals are unstable. Kichen is not included.
- Vincent (9/5): Small cabaña for a stay in el Chalten - It is a well equipped place. Hot shower is amazing.
The owner ist very nice. There is nothing that I disliked, it could have been a bit warmer, but that’s ok.
It is a bit run down
- Nika (10/5): - Very spacious room with private bathroom. Bed was comfy, the room was warm and it had a kettler to make a tea and a small fridge to store food. The owner stored our backpacks after check out, free of charge, which was super nice!!

- Balázs (6/5): On a budget in El Chaltén - Good value for the price as it was cheap considering it's in El Chaltén, which is a more expensive area. Very friendly staff. The apartment is very retro style, it requires some renovations and maintenance.

- Ledezma (10/5): -
- Hakyung (1/5): Good value for the region. But make sure you lock your bags - Close to bus terminal, clean and comfy bed Wifi is not working at all.
Also one day, the owner just came inside to our room around noon, even after we screamed "we're inside!". she only knocked one time. They widely opened the door and saw us very uncomfortable and left. Then she entered our room again, literally inside(we didn't appreciate it at all) without asking permission, only saying in Spanish that they wanted to check window blinds. We don't trust this owner at all. If you wanna check that, you can do it after we check out. Or you can even send us message first. But no nothing. Super sketchy vibe. We had to lock our backpack even when we leave our room for 5 minutes as we felt very weird vibe here.

- Meier (1/5): Not enjoyable - The location, host was responsive with check in It’s a shabby place that is dirty. On second day there was no water coming out of the shower. No coffee maker.
Bunkbed was wiggly.
- BHURINUCH (8/5): Good location; attentive and responsive owner; not strong wifi - The location is great, also because the city is very small. The owner was attentive and responsive. The place was big enough for two people and with comfortable bathroom. There was fridge in the room and two little chairs in front of the room. The only thing I would minus point is the wifi. The wifi was very low. I had to use my own cellular all the time.
Local conforme o anúncio, bem limpo e organizado. As cortinas poderiam ser blackout.

- Sara (8/5): - Great location for town and trails
- Verónica (10/5): -
- Petula (10/5): Thank you, everything was perfect, and they even dropped me in the bus terminal when I checked out :) - In the center, easy check in , clean
- Matteo (5/5): -
- JOÃO P.P.M (10/5): - Obrigado Juan pela Disponibilidade e Amabilidade.
- HUI CHUAN (7/5): -
- Mark (3/5): Hosts are extremely nice but facilities in disrepair. - Hosts were very pleasant. Location is convenient and quiet. Facilities in disrepair. Stove and heater not working. Cold water knob in shower not working; had to adjust shower temperature by adjusting setting on water heater. Electric outlets worn; had to use tape to hold AC converter. Light switches filthy. Travel partner woke up with bedbug bites.
- Mak (8/5): Great location but slow wifi connection - Great location, about 10 min walk from the bus terminal, 5 min walk from the main street and 2km from the trailhead of the Laguna de los Tres. Basic room with an electric kettle and small fridge which were a great bonus. The wifi connection is slow and not stable. It takes minutes to load a website and Facebook comments. The connection keeps dropping.
- Omar Alejando (7/5): -
- paolo (9/5): - Trilocale bagno, cucinino soggiorno e stanza da letto.Ottimo.riscaldamento,doccia ben calda asciugamani sapone .Stoviglie sufficienti.
Gestori gentili e disponibili. Nulla.
- miriam (10/5): -
- Eva (6/5): Pleasant - Tea and coffee making facilities, good location Poor wifi
- Manjurul (7/5): Budget hotel so can’t complain. Good for money - Budget friendly, specially place like El chalten. No wifi for whole stay.
- Primoz (8/5): Very good - Our room was basic but had all the important amenities. Space heater worked great, beds were comfortable, shower had hot water with good pressure. Like most visitors in El Chalten we spent our days hiking and this guesthouse was the perfect place to come back to in the evening.
- Yumi (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location: close to the bus terminal and everything else (the village itself is very small anyways)
Kind staff: helped me with anything I needed with such kindness!
Great Warm water
Heater provided (I loved it!)
I had a fridge for my yogurt too!
- Joselin (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay was great! The staff was super nice and helpful and the room was very well cleaned. We would 100% recommend it.
- Тeo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Krista (7/5): Basic but met our needs. Good location. - Basic accommodation in a great location. Beds were comfy, room warm and clean. Friendly owners. Wifi wasn’t great but the restaurant next door, San Sebastián, has good wifi ☺️
- Michael (7/5): Good - The M3 Casita was spacious and comfortable. Any issues we had were immediately addressed by Juan. It was well situated in town and close to all shopping, restaurants and trailheads. A couple of things, but Juan fixed them.
- Helena (5/5): Passable - Good location and could leave luggage prior to check out. Cold, drafty, no communal kitchen at all.
- Marcela (9/5): Very pleasant stay - It was as described and our host was very welcoming and helpful. Nothing
- Romansgb (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bramhall (7/5): Very convenient and perfectly comfortable - Nice location, place was clean and water was hot
- Magdalena (8/5): Very good - Clean room, kind staff
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, kind owner, comfortable and clean place. Very cost-effective!
- Aviad (8/5): Very good -
- Ciara (6/5): Owner needs to change on booking.com that kitchen facilities are available. - Location good.
Warm shower and comfy beds. Property advertised having kitchen facilities on booking.com but this was not the case. We only had a fridge and kettle in our room. This was disappointing.
Heat had to be turned on by the owner each time which was frustrating. Guests should be able to do this themselves.
- Aaron (9/5): Best accomodation deal in El Chalton - Great price. Great location short and easy walk to bus station. One block from main street. Quiet, sheltered yard with grass and lawn chairs.
Clean. Check-in was flawless. Heater and hot water work well. Max was very hospitable. I accidently shut off the pilot light for the heater and Max immediately and graciously lit it for us. Pillows too firm. No towels so bring your own.
- Lucas (10/5): Very good value and nice owner -
- Emilija (7/5): Decent to spend the night - The room is decent to spend the night. It is spacious enough for two people. The cleanliness was quite okay. The heating was great! The host was nice and helpful! It is a quite dark room, the kettle was dirty and the pillows were super hard. It is quite pricey for what you actually get, but it was still the cheapest option in El Chalten that is shamefully expensive.
- Erica (9/5): Superb -
- Hayrettin (1/5): Completely -100% dissatisfied. - Nothing, completely dumpster, garbage..... This hotel/hostel should be avoided by all means. Room is completely dumpster, many amenities either do not work or not functional. Unfriendly and rude owner/manager. He tried to overcharge me %40 more than booking price, he tried to kicked me out of the room one day before my last day, and if I do not vacate the room, threaten me to call the police, He is completely disorganized. The room lost the power and he is not available, and makes me stupid that I do not know how to power on the lights. There are bugs in the room. I also saw his office, it is completely garbage dumpster. AVOID AVOID AVOID..
- Georgia (7/5): Good - In Patagonian terms this place is good value for money. We had hot water from the shower and the location was close to the middle of the town. The host was very nice. We had a lot of flies around the room, not a major issue but a bit annoying! The room itself wasn’t particularly clean. Despite it being cheaper accommodation compared to other hotels in the area, it’s still a lot of money for what you get.
- Guido (5/5): An average place - The room itself had too much color schemes going on, it made the room look cheap, the bedding and towels looked old and worn out. The room was cold when I arrived, so the host turned the heating on, but it could not be adjusted, so the room got hot towards the end of my stay. The host was being helpful, but there is only so much one can do with the facilities being out of date. Everything just seemed old and worn out
- Charlie (6/5): Pleasant stay; could be better. You get what you pay for. - The location was great. Walking distance to everything in the village. Parking was easy if you have a car; can park on their driveway space or on the gravel road. Bed was comfortable. Host was very attentive and nice. You can tell he wants customers to be comfortable and feel at home. After all, he is a family man. The bathroom itself could use an upgrade, at least for the room I was in. There was a leak from the toilet tank which the host just put a rag on the floor to mitigate it. Power did go out intermittently for several minutes during my stays. Booking description states in Amenities that a kitchen is included. This is in fact incorrect. My standard room did not have a "kitchen" so it is a bit deceiving. Yes, there was a fridge. Yes, there were utensils and electric kettle. I believe the bigger family room has an actual kitchen. It was a bit chilly during nights but the heater wouldn't function as it seemed like the controls were all out of order. I couldn't turn it on. Wasn't a big deal to contact the host about it.
- Cohen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stuart (6/5): A basic place with central location - Central location. Kettle supplied with some coffee and tea. Small fridge. Expensive for what it was. Not clearly represented by the photos (see attached). Shower head had to be held in hand. Gaps under the door as part of it was broken.
- Brett (6/5): Basic accommodation in El Chalten - It was clean and quiet. Lots of hot water for the shower. Internet was very poor most of the time. I consider the room charge to be very high for very basic accommodation. The owner used a very low exchange rate when calculating the room cost in pesos.
- James (7/5): Good - Small fridge and kettle in the room were handy . Short walk from bus station . Owner quick to respond on booking.com and WhatsApp Bit ramshackle but did a job . Price is good for El Chalten which is generally quite expensive unless camping
- Malone (9/5): Superb - Host is SO nice and accomodating!! The bathroom - no counter space and shower sprays all over the floor; internet was slow for us
- Matthew (9/5): Great spot to explore el Chalten on a budget - Great location comfort and value
- Mark (6/5): Ideal for up to one night - Close to centre, pleasant owner, comfortable bed, good price for el Chalten, cash and card payments both accepted. Shower has no curtain or even a shower tray, some maintenance required, no fridge.
- Mark (7/5): Basic but functional - Close to centre, pleasant owner, comfortable bed, good price for el Chalten, cash and card payments both accepted. Needs some maintenance.
- Jakob (7/5): You get what you pay for. One of the cheaper places in El Chalten and the standard reflects that. - Ok if you want a bed, a shower etc. Friendly host. But the quality reflects the low price tag.
- Ewa... (9/5): Superb - Basic place that was clean and warm. the price in pesos was very good. I recommend it as an overnight stay and a base for trips to the mountains. the owner was very nice and helpful.
