Guest Reviews
- alexandra (10/5): Immersive stay - The hosts are *really* nice. Room & bathroom are basic but it all works out great especially given the price. You can even have dinner with them for a fee. It’s just a bit hard to find on google maps but we called and they were very reactive!
- Anna Rakowska Mazur (10/5): - Spokojna miejscówka z dala od zgiełku miasta, pokoje duże, czyste z prywatną łazienką. Duży ogród ze stolikiem i huśtawką. Śniadanie obfite i smaczne. Największą wartością są jednak gospodarze: cudowni, gościnni i opiekuńczy. Zdecydowanie polecam
- dorota (10/5): - Le logement était spatieux, donnant sur un grand jardin, propre et la litterie était confortable. L'accueil chaleureux, à 10 minutes à pieds du centre. Le petit-déjeuner copieux.
Je recommande à 100%!!!
- vladimir (7/5): - Very helpful owners.
Fantastic breakfast. Very simple and spartan rooms.
- Pok Man (10/5): -
- Elisa (9/5): - The family who are renting the apartment are really friendly. We got a really nice room for two people, with a table and an own bathroom.
We felt really comfortable there. Food was good. I really recommend this place!
- Babakr (10/5): -
- Elizaveta (10/5): A perfect vacation in rural Armenia. - The location is quiet and beautiful, right in front of the mountains. The air is very fresh, I cannot remember the last time we slept so well and uninterrupted. The hosts and their family are very kind, hospitable and respectful people, we've had a wonderful time chatting with them (mostly in Russian). The house is always clean and the Armenian national food served here will pleasantly surprise you. This is our second time staying here and definitely not the last! —
- Tajanica (8/5): Very good - Armen's hospitality and generosity. They keep a dog locked up in a cage so he barks a lot, including during the night. My room was just next to his cage and that kept me up most of the night. I am not sure if the dog is ever out of that cage and that worries me.
- Elizaveta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sumfleth (9/5): Highly recommended - The stay was awesome at the B&B. Right upon my arrival I was offered to eat lunch. Even tho it was hard to communicate, the whole family was really nice and the house was very clean. Highly recommended. Thanks again for the stay!
- Maksim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martin (10/5): Nice experience - Amazing breakfast, amazing city and people. Market was so close.
- Nil (10/5): Excellent - We had a very nice stay, the family was very welcoming and helpful. The room and the bathroom were also very comfortable, and the breakfast was extraordinary, with plenty of super tasty food.
- Lucile (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katsiaryna (10/5): Exceptional - The house is very pretty and comfortable!
- Mai (10/5): Comfortable to stay - The owner was very welcoming. She took care of us like our mum. Her breakfast was tasty and we enjoyed lots .. It was like eating at homemade cooking restaurants. She doesn't speak English, but we didn't have any problems understanding what she wanted to tell. Everything good
- My (1/5): Bad - Nothing...the worst thing that happened in my trip At first, it is not hotel and it is just bed and breakfast, the owner is on home and all the time glaze you and notice you about everything, also her husband is so aggressive and just want to fight you about everything, from that moment he arrived at home he start to watching TV with loudly sound and when we talk with each other and laughed to program of TV he changed the channel (his manner was like a baby) we took a shower, her husband struggled with us about time of bath, they forced us sleep early at there, and about awful breakfast, she took us rest of their last night dinner and some thing like pickles, with about 10 grams of cheese, without any drinks, it was worst than thing that I can describe about it, and staying there was the awful and sooooo worst of our travel, the only reason that we didnt left there that we were so tired and just want to rest some where. please don't attention to their ads and pics and some good fake comments.
- Fatemeh (5/5): it was clean but we did not feel comfortable because no private bathroom, no private entrance and nobody knows English. - it was clean. No privacy.
- Saeed (7/5): Good - The house was very clean.
The hosts were very polite and kind.
They provided us with a good breakfast. The room and closets were full of landlord's belongings and there was not enough space for the traveler's belongings. I got dizzy, it was too crowded around me.
Shared bathroom was not very pleasant for me. Although it was very clean.
- Kim (10/5): An amazing stay at with a great and very hospitable family that go above and beyond. - The hosts were great and adapted to our busy schedule.
- Vladislava (10/5): Exceptional - very clean, cozy, friendly hosts
- Ivan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matthias (9/5): Superb -
- Nico (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely host. She made the best traditional Armenian breakfast and dinner. Although there were some issues due to understanding it was really fine. If you want to have the experience of traveling to Armenia and live like the locals go to her place. You'll be welcomed like a family member. The pillows have been very heavy
- Alireza (6/5): Pleasant - Kind host Didn't give us a heater although the room so cold for sleeping and I gave up having dinner and taking a shower instead they gave us extra blanket 😐
The room was one of the bedrooms and we could hear almost everything from the home
- Diana (10/5): Exceptional - Thanks a lot for hospitality, cleanliness and an amazing breakfast. The facilities are in a good condition and the hosts are extremely friendly. Besides, if you stay there and the place is packed, you can get acquainted with a lot of interesting people from all around the world. The city itself is not very clean and could be improved as Sevan has a big tourist potential. It isn't connected with the accomodation itself, though.
- Talia (8/5): Very good -
- 2069siamak (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mosstin (7/5): Decent for one night - Hostess was kind. English is not really spoken here but the hostess did her best to be helpful throughout. You're very much left on your own here. None of the family speak English and have little interest interacting.
- Iurii (4/5): Not the best value for its money in my experience. - Very friendly and charming family. Shared kitchen. Laundry service. Beautiful garden. Cute and friendly cat. Mattress on the double bed on one side wasn’t straight, I couldn’t lay down straight properly, and my foos were hanging out because it’s too short (my height is 183). So I’ve had to sleep on the other bed that we’re for kids, which was straight and comfy but still too short.
There are also a closet in the room that is fully load with someone’s clothes, so we had to hang ours all around the room.
They have offered to us breakfast only on the first day of our three days stay. On the first day we’ve had a cucumber-tomato salad with pita and some fruits which were some of leftovers.
We are vegetarian and they didn’t know what to offer to us so they decided to offer nothing, but coffee (which was good) We we’re disappointed about that.
Shower room/toilet have a really bad smell coming from the shower carpets on the floor and it must be replaced.
Toilet seat is almost all the time covered with urine because men in the house never lift it up (I don’t mean other guests)
Toilet itself they clean only from inside, and on outside it’s covered with urine, dust and hair. At least they never did it in three days of our stay
We we’re ran guesthouse ourselves for two years and so we know how to host and serve to the people.
This stay is wasn’t good value for it’s price in our experience.
- Finn (10/5): please stay here if you visit Sevan. - the family was very welcoming. Although communicating in English was quite hard, we had no problem with talking via Google translate. This was one of the best beds we have slept in for a while and the room was very cozy. The cat you see in the picture was as cute and really liked the attention. nothing
