• The Hotel Inspector (8/5): Putney Home Stay - Super Location, 4 minute walk from Putney Bridge Station. River Thames is a 100m walk. You are located on the main high street with all shops for Food etc. Hosts are very friendly and will meet you at checkin. You will be staying with a Host Family in there home, this is located on the third floor via stairs and will have a privateToilet with a hand basin right next to your room, main bathroom is up another flight of stairs and this is shared with the Host Family. Hot water was plentiful. Your room is of a very good size with a comfortable Bed, Microwave, Kettle and a Fridge are in your room if you need them. We had no issues at all with our stay and plan to stay again soon. Please bare in mind you are not staying at a Travel lodge or a Hotel and you will hear some Family activity. Cambridge won the Mens Boat Race when really Oxford should of 🤫😀

La doccia è condivisa solo con loro e non abbiamo mai avuto problemi di necessità in contemporanea. Lavandino molto piccolo ma per la media a Londra almeno hai un lavandino e wc a tuo uso esclusivo.

Chce se mi napsat vše, co se týče samotného bydlení.Chtěli jsme vlastní koupelnu a wc to byl základ, bohužel k našemu překvapení-jelikož koupelna uvedená byla, ji pokoj neměl.Takže bydlíte v bytě s majiteli, kde máte jeden malinký pokojíček, wc je na společné chodbě naproti hlavním dveřím, takže když přijde návštěva, nemůžete vylézt.Koupelna je nad schody v jejich patře-společná s nimi!Je to velmi, velmi nepříjemné, žádné soukromí.Přemýšlíte, jestli se můžete jít umýt, nebo potkáte někoho na schodech, nebo v koupelně.Na bookingu je napsán check-in ve 12hod, domluvili jsme se na 13hod s tím, že si můžeme zanechat kufry tam.Poté nám řekli, že v 15 hod, tak jsme čekali 4 hodiny, přišli jsme zpátky a pokoj nebyl uklizený, nepřevlečené peřiny, vše špinavé.Bylo nám řečeno, že uklízečka je nemocná a že přijde někdo jiný, za ty celé 4 hodiny nám ale nikdo nedal vědět nic.Pán na úklid byl milý a dal nám sadu donatů, což jsme byli rádi....Takže jsme zase vypadli a k večeru se vrátili, pokoj byl mnohem čistější, bohužel jsme byli 3 a rozkládací gauč nebyl povlečený a bez peřin, tak jsme museli improvizovat.Plus bych ještě zmínila klimatizace z venčí, které jsou pod okny a hučí v celku dost v noci ve dne.

• Olga (8/5): Nice and quiet room with good access to London center - The room is located in a nice, quiet part of London, 5 minutes by walk to the underground station and right next to the bus stops. It was very well-equipped and had all we needed (even a small kitchen corner with fridge, microwave, kettle, some dishes and tea/coffee). The hosts were very nice and flexible regarding check in time. It was very cold in the toilet. The door to the building are hard to open from the inside - it would be great to get some instructions, as it took us some time to figure it out.

I ask you to change the information, as it is not correct. Dirty bathroom, with residents' belongings, such as towels, toothbrushes, soap. and many other things. thanks.
• Alba (9/5): Excellent value for the money - The room was veeery clean,and with everything in it Kettle,coffe,tea,spoons,plates ,cups,little fridge,airdryier,iron,towels ..bed very comfy.They host let us a bottle of water and a packet of cookies for each, also slippers .The toilet was super clean.He let us 3 tooth brush and paste. The area,full of shops,restaurants ,pubs....I'm very well connected. The stairs of the begging,with carpet and a bit dirty, even the gate could give very bad first impression,but after the host very friendly and then the room excellent.

• Tamás (5/5): Passable - You can reach the city centre easily with bus or tube, and the owners are kind people. There are no signs where is the place, only a door with a bell, and we had to wait for an hour to let us in. Also the carpet on the floor was completely wet when we arrived.

• Adam (4/5): Absolute disgrace with Putney Bridge nearby - I didn’t 3rd floor flat, long walk up stairs. The hallway and stairs has never been cleaned. All filthy and smelly. Spare room with full family in the rest of the flat. Shared shower with family. Hallway and flat all filthy. Not a good experience. TV broken.

• Yasmine (4/5): Place near Putney Bridge Station - The hosts were very nice. It's a close walk to Putney Bridge Station (tube). The linens were comfortable. The "private" bathroom was only a toilet, meaning to shower you had to go upstairs to the personal living area of the host and use their bathroom which was filled with personal products, kids toys, and without a place to set your clothes down.
• Natacha (5/5): Please read reviews before booking - The room was a good size, easy location, nice places to eat within a few mins walk. Easy communication for access to the key. Our stay for 3 nights was fine but wouldn’t stay again From the listing we thought this place was a lot more private than described. Somehow we missed the fact the it said shared kitchen. So when we arrived and it was just a spare room in a family flat with a YOUNG CHILD we were negatively surprised. We feel this is something that should be disclosed in the listing. The bathroom is not private like the listing suggests, it was also in the main part of the house, which is not comfortable for all people. The listing also suggests the room is sound proof - let us tell you it is very far from sound proof you can hear everything down to a spoon in a tea cup. There are aircon units outside the window that hum loudly all night. We could have saved at least 50£ for the same situation with an honest listing.

• Rggilbert (6/5): Great location, okay flat - Absolutely wonderful location. Putney was a great spot in itself, had easy access to the city, and was close to Wimbledon. The room itself was spacious as well. The shared spaces were shared with the host family and much dirtier than I am used to with BNBs and hotels. Bed was not super comfy, and checking in was delayed by an hour. Our host was very kind, but many things were just not up to snuff for us.

• Juliette (4/5): Fine if you only want use of the room and do not want a quiet lie in, & shared facilities are awful. - Location was great, access to public transport and very close the the venue where family were meeting to celebrate some important birthdays. The hosts were both very pleasant I was not able to check in to my room on arrival nearly 4 hours after advertised time, and had to literally kick the front door to get in when I was able to access the property as it did not open easily. I spotted 2 dead mice on the stairs on my way up to the room, and the carpet throughout looked filthy. TV did not work and host got it working by hitting it, when he came to put on the pillow cases that had been forgotten. The toilet did not flush properly and the tiny sink did not drain properly. Kitchen and main bathroom were shared with the hosts and I cannot believe they actually use either, both in desperate need of a good clean and modernisation. No mention in the brief about sharing with a toddler who will wake you up every morning stamping around on the ceiling above, screaming and crying - not his fault, it is what children do, but it would be fair to advise people about this in advance. All very well apologising to us constantly about it, but a heads up would have been better.

• Baumgartena (8/5): Recommend. - Everything was as I imagined. It is an optimal option for a visit when you spend most of your time outside the house and it is important to stay overnight. It was warm and bright. The windows come out towards the courtyard, but this did not interfere with living. The only drawback - the room was on the 3rd floor. People with foot problems will find it difficult to climb.

• Cheryl (4/5): Not exactly what I thought it would be - Location was good in the middle of the high street. I was visiting my relatives in Putney. Ok so I don't want to be too harsh but I was kind of shocked when I arrived and the stairs up to the flat the carpet was absolutely filthy. I didn't get a good feeling at that moment. The room was ok and the host was nice but I didn't realise we had to share the bathroom upstairs which looked like it had been put together with sticky tape. So bizarre. They did leave coffee, tea and biscuits but for a few extra pounds we would have preferred to stay at the Premier Inn up the road.

• Rachael (1/5): absolutely disgusting! avoid! - no sign to tell you where it is, literally on a high street in middle of 2 kebab shops. whole place was covered in mould. bedroom was dirty with someone’s teeth/denchers whatever they were, used tissues and a french fry on bedside table 🤢 plates had inch of dust and fluff on them. cutlery wasn’t clean. toilet had someone’s previous remains in it. dirty and unclean. i was told I could share a bath with the owner… erm no?! £141 I paid for this. literally a bedroom in someone’s house they had a party on second night 13th December 22 till 1:30am kept me awake when I had a work presentation in the morning. didn’t see the owner since she introduced me into the room. she was nice enough wouldn’t recommend!!

The room looks very cool, it's spacious and decorative, all facilities included! Nice location, with lots of shops/supermarkets around, 10 mins walking from tube station and well connected with buses to central London. I recommend staying here!

• Malena (10/5): Perfect!!! very comfortable!!! - Everything was perfect! The couple who run the room is very kind. They gave us tea, coffe and cookies for free. The room is big and very comfortable with a big TV(including netflix), wardrobe, and kettle. It is a little bite far away from the city center but it is well conected by metro and buses, moreover the neighbourhood is quiet and it has plenty of shops and supermarkets which is very convinient. Everything was perfect, but as a suggestion: it would be fine to have a shower in the bathroom which is near to the room and it would be amazing to have a microwave and a minifridge in thre room.

Nearby there are shops and supermarkets. It was really comfortable to stay in the apartment! Actually nothing. Everything was fantastic.
