• Henrik (8/5): - Great place and Austin was a nice and helpful guy. Some difficulties understanding/getting in but was a minor thing. Location is good but a but far from Dublin center (bus ride is easy and cheap though). All in all a grat place for the money you spend.

• Le Rolland (8/5): Un bon rapport qualité/prix - Il est facile d'aller au centre ville en bus. La cuisine partagée est très pratique. La chambre avec lits superposés est un peu petite et pas très pratique pour un séjour d'une semaine. Il n'y avait finalement pas Netflix comme indiqué sur l'annonce et la télévision ne fonctionnait pas du tout.

• Vierhaus (7/5): - Der Host war super nett und sehr hilfsbereit und es war sehr unkompliziert in die Unterkunft zu gelangen. Uns wurden super Tipps gegeben, was man sich angucken kann und wie man sich in Dublin zurecht findet. Die Küchengeräte funktionierten teilweise nicht, Mikrowelle z.b. haben wir gar nicht ans Laufen bekommen. Die Kaffeemaschine hatte einen Wackelkontakt, sodass man den Stecker einklemmen müsste, damit diese funktioniert. Die Klobrille war lose, der Fernseher viel fast aus der Wand. Die Einrichtung war in die Jahre gekommen, was uns nicht stört, aber funktionieren sollte eben eigentlich alles.

• Michael (10/5): Excellent place to stay, Highly recommended. A***** - Very friendly family. It was like staying with old friends. Nothing was too much trouble. Stylish decor. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money, close to a small supermarket, with a chemist and McDonalds slightly further away. Frequent, cheap bus service into city centre from early morning until late at night. Place to park car off the road. Respectable quiet part of town. Only one shared toilet.

• David (9/5): Estancia tranquila, cómoda y muy agradable! - Limpieza, comodidad, el trato personal y la cantidad de servicios como plancha, televisión, secador etc que contaba el alojamiento El agua caliente no tenía demasiada presión, y se nos quedó un poco templada un día.
• Angel (5/5): okay for a short stay in dublin - right outside dublin city centre & easily accessible by bus (stop is about 3 min walk away and 30 mins out of temple bar). good chinese food nearby and a small market. host is nice. room was decently sized (in spite of awkwardly placed furniture) and bed was extremely comfy. accessible kitchenette. very much felt like i was staying at someone’s house; i felt i was imposing a lot of times and just felt hyperaware of how loud i was being when walking up the stairs or going in to use the shared loo. the walls are thin and i could hear people coming in/out and TV in other rooms. floors are super creaky, especially when going up/down the stairs. kitchen is not the cleanest.

• Yuliya (10/5): A Warm and Cozy Home Away from Home. - We would love to leave a warm review for the wonderful guesthouse The Hideout! This is a truly lovely place — clean, warm, and cozy, just like home. Everything you might need is thoughtfully provided. Here you can genuinely relax, get a great night’s sleep, and recharge after a long journey. We were especially lucky to stay here at Christmas time — the beautiful Christmas tree, lovely decorations, and twinkling lights created a truly magical, fairy-tale atmosphere. The Kelly family are absolutely lovely — very kind, attentive, and friendly. They really helped us out with a phone charger, as my charging block had broken, and we truly appreciated their kindness. We really enjoyed our stay. My husband and I wholeheartedly recommend The Hideout, and we will definitely return whenever we are in Dublin again. Thank you so much, Kelly family! 🎄✨

• Femi (9/5): Great Value - The location is great- 3 minutes walk to the bus stop. It's a 25 mins bus ride to the city center. There are supermarkets in the neighborhood and the area is a quiet one. The host was friendly and he tried to provide all the necessary information for a comfortable stay. Great place to stay!

Das Haus liegt etwas außerhalb, daher konnten wir unser Auto problemlos vor der Haustür parken und die Anbindung per Bus in die Innenstadt war auf einer Linie möglich.

Good value for money. Shopping centre and bus stops are close by. Very quiet at night. It is pretty far from the city centre and the buses are slow. There was a leak in the kitchen ceiling one evening (but it was fixed by the next day.)

• Alas (5/5): Shared with the family, 20 minutes bus - The hosts were kind and very helpful. The area has a shop, a couple of pubs and restaurants. It is a private house of a family. they share the house. You have to share the toilet that is just for one person. Everything is very basic. It is also a bit far from the centre. Accomodation in Ireland seems to be very expensive, so It is not cheap either.

A disposizione ci sono due bagni con doccia, cucina e frigorifero, davvero pratici per chi vuole organizzarsi in autonomia. La zona è tranquilla, con caratteristiche casette basse, e in soli 20 minuti di autobus si raggiunge il centro di Dublino. Considerando i prezzi altissimi degli hotel in centro, questa è un’ottima soluzione economica e conveniente. Consigliatissima!

• Day (9/5): Pleasant stay outside the city centre - Friendly and knowledgeable owner. Rooms are very good value in high season and accommodated our dog. Well equipped kitchen for food preparation. Free parking. Shops close by. As reflected in the price it's a bus ride into town though we actually had a pleasant walk in due to having a dog with us.

• Denise (8/5): Very peaceful suburban stay if you don't mind using the bus for touristy things - very clean and spacious room with plenty of blankets and hangers for clothes. Not a negative but more a note for those that have mobility issues. All three rooms are up a steep flight of stairs. I was given the biggest room but felt uncomfortable trying to sleep in a bunk bed so ended up on the futon the full stay. An adult cannot sit up on the bottom bed and I have vertigo and joint issues, so hard to climb up and down from top bunk. It would be a huge improvement if maybe a double bed replaced the bunk beds at some point.
