Even they were supposed to come late they repeatedly said don't wait in front of the building and wait few meters far.

• Muhammet (1/5): Avoid this place. I was kicked out in the middle of the night because the owner couldn’t break my cash deposit — complet - I like nothing. Terrible experience. I arrived at the hostel, but the owner kicked me out because they couldn’t break the cash I gave for the deposit. This was entirely the hostel’s problem, yet I was the one who had to suffer the consequences. The hostel is definitely not worth the money. The room is very small and extremely messy, and the bed area is not clean at all. In the middle of the night, I was told to leave the hostel in a country I don’t know. This is completely unacceptable. A totally unreliable place that feels like a scam. To avoid experiencing what I went through, do not choose this place under any circumstances. I will be reporting this matter to the relevant authorities.

• Andrewy (10/5): - I liked that you can come to the room at any time. The room had a shower and a toilet, everything was quite clean and comfortable. And free internet and the metro station(Anděl) in 10 minutes. Of the minuses, the only thing is that you have to wait at some stop and wait until you are met and taken to the hostel.
• Sezim (1/5): - We didn't like absolutely everything. The location, It was far and near to the cemetery. We waited like 15 min outside in the cold at the bus station, even if we notified in advance the time of our arrival. When we finally got to the apartment, it was a real disappointment, The apartment was smelling, There were only men, one of them was looking at us with a grin, and additionally he removed his shirt, staying naked for a while. The assistant said we could cancel and ask for refund, and we of course said that we want to cancel and get the refund. They just sent a message that they will ask the manager for the refund later that day. After that we were not hearing from them for a week, and we asked them again in the message when they were going to refund and they just simply said the manager refused to return our money. No words, it is not fair.

Bylo mi řečeno, že můžu požádat o vrácení peněz, ale nakonec mi to zamítli. Nakonec rezervaci zrušili a check-in druhý den neumožnili, i když byla platba provedena za dva dny.

• Andrea (1/5): Getting back your key deposit is a lottery! What a pity - On our way to Prague they informed us that we can not go with our dog. Before I booked (beginning of Sept.) and paid the accomm. I marked the pet ikon and asked for help finding dog-sitter for a few hours. Upon arrival they did want to let us in and give us the key when they saw our dog. I told them that our dog will sleep with me in the car. 🙂 They asked for 5,-EUR deposit which they DID NOT PAY back. 😞 On the first night my partner and someone else slept in the room. BUT on second night all the 8 beds were occupied, the one which should have been mine was also occupied. I slept in my car on the street, complained about it and asked for price return of that night. It was at the end of October (the weather was pretty cold in the night), however the Refund DID NOT arrive. 😞 Upon departure, we returned the key however did not get back the 5,-EUR and the cost of my second night. I don't know how this kind of accommodation can get permit and operate in Prague. 😞

• Przybysz (1/5): so bad it’s comical - location, nothing else the place was terribly smelly, full of sketchy people and alcoholics, other tenants were arguing over money, huge fees for later arrival which would in the end add up to an amount to get us a better appartment, the owner screamed at us on the phone over a misunderstanding about the meeting point (which was mainly his fault). the carpet had multiple old stains, the amount of dust made it unbearable to breathe at night, felt sick when waking up and the feeling went away after breathing fresh air. Our travel sack went missing after the towels were taken to the dry cleaing and a pair of socks was stolen. the worst place we’ve been to.

I had already read a couple of references that they did not return the money from the deposit to the guests, but unfortunately I did not believe it. I spent one night in that facility and duly returned the keys and checked out on time, but after some time I realized that I had not been paid the deposit (which is normally only given to them in cash). I wrote to them maybe a month after my stay and they said they would check, but nothing happened. I wrote to them again later that they would write me a senseless lie (that I had allegedly verbally abused them and that I had not returned the keys on time). I'm shocked. I don't know how booking only allows such profiles at all. P.S. I’m level Booking user with many, many bookings, but i never had such experience so far. Robbery!

The apartment is very small studio (less than 15sqm) and he put 8 beds inside. Was very smelly and dirty. The smells of people inside stay because there’s no air circulation with very small room with 8 people inside, you can smells thier feet, some bad hygiene and farting. Honestly my entire stay in this property I am wearing mask because if not I want to vomit of the smells inside.

Please don't book this just if you are getting this in a cheap price..pay extra 2 or 3 euros and some another hostel which has good staff and with good location.

I also paid 10€ for the keys and returned them to them. I did not live in the apartment and they refuse to return the security deposit, so I do not recommend it to anyone.

• Andres (1/5): AVOID THIS PLACE - Nothing The manager/owner from the beginning really rude and impolite, I had to wait for him to check in, then the bed was inarguably a mess, full of dust and bad smell as if it was the same bed sheets from three days ago, and on top of that, I had to chase him down to get my deposit back, no luggage storage after check out, or common areas, really disgusting place, I'm not coming back there ever, you can just pay few more bucks and get a decent place.

• Una (1/5): Dusty and dirty apartment, misleading information upon booking and rude communication from the host. - The only commendable thing is the location. It was terrible apart from that. Do not be fooled by the low price - even cheap apartments should ensure general hygiene and respectful attitude which was seriously lacking here. Pay a bit more and save yourself some headache. This person should not be permitted to offer any accommodation. The main concerns being: horrific general hygiene; misleading information on the apartment upon booking; rude communication from the owner; loud and smoking neighbours. First three points are elaborated below. 1. Dust and filth everywhere. Bed sheets/bed covers/pillow covers were not changed and washed. The bed mattress was most likely full of dust mites and their feces thus provoking allergy and itchy feeling as a consequence. Kitchen "area" was dirty and oily. In order to cook, we had to rewash all the surfaces and plates/cooking utensils. The bathtub had to be rewashed by ourselves too since there were pubic hair left from the previous guests. The toilet was the cleanest place in the apartment. We have attached pictures to this review too. 2. The pictures presented upon making the reservation were misleading. It turns out that the bathroom is both a bathroom and a kitchen. The cookware is next to the bath tub. The owner deliberately took pictures in a way this would not be noticeable. Also, some pictures were not from this apartment at all. The fridge and the stove were smaller compared to what was in the pictures. The windows could not be locked completely so someone could easily break in from the outside. 3. After the first night we spent in this apartment, the electricity had gone out. We informed the owner and he immediately blamed us for using "unsupported" appliance which was not the case as 1) the electricity was working before we went to bed and 2) the only appliance used were the ones in the apartment. Rude communication from the owner onwards and this also became the reason for not returning the 5 EUR deposit for the "keys". Lastly, the owner refused to delete photo of the passport he took in case his "legal attorney" should need it. We could write more but this should be sufficient for you to avoid this owner and his dishonest nature.

Although I had agreed to meet nearby at 14:00, I was unable to call or text confirmation, so waited for 2 hours before giving up. I went to collect my case, and used the hotel WiFi to advise the owner, but got nowhere Had to find somewhere else to stay.
• Sophie (6/5): Very convenient basic flat, well located and comfortable, but dealing with the owner is unpleasant - Good location - Run-down tiny flat but comfortable and clean beds, with a microwave oven and a kettle (some plates, but no cutlery). The owner was slow to respond before our trip, and , when we turned up, he demanded a deposit in euros (we didn't have euros as it is not the currency of my country) even though he had previously agreed I could pay in CZ Korunas. I had to give him a bigger deposit, in CZK, which was OK as he said he would return the whole of the deposit by bank transfer when we leave the place. I had to chase him three times for the deposit back and he eventually transferred, two weeks late, only a portion of the deposit.

You have to meet someone to head hostel and they request extra money for deposit. They told me they will refund the money, but I did not receive yet.

The owner is clearly a major grifter - I would really like my deposit back, however, he is not answering any of my calls (he sure did answer them when we were staying there and had the option to purchase luxurious add-ons like hairdryers and towels for extra money). The check-in process involves a cleaner smelling of alcohol photographing my passport and quickly grabbing his stuff from the apartment before leaving us with a pee-filled toilet. The beds aren't all that clean (worn-out and full of stains). This is clearly an accommodation meant to generate a dude who only cares about money some more money. Oh, yeah, the "kitchen" is just a tiny closet with an electric stove.

• Peter (1/5): DO NOT BOOK this absolutely disgusting scam in the centre of Prague (ekliger Betrug im Herzen Prags) - This accommodation is advertised as "flat" - it's not a flat. It's literally a bedroom (apparently they have two as the photos suggest) - a shabby and filthy bedroom - which has not been renovated since the Fall of the Iron Curtain. The "flat" I was let to by a middle-aged gentleman who did not speak a single word of any foreign language and smelled a little of alcohol was a disgusting, smelly single room in which six (!!!) beds were squeezed. It was just full of beds which made a very worn-out and fairly repelling impression. No desk, to table, no chairs, no cupboard, no shelf, simply nothing which you expect from a normal hotel room or a "flat". No fresh paint at the wall. The windows & the entire room (floor, walls, "kitchen") have clearly not been renovated since decades. It has no amenities (forget this automatically generated list below, it's misleading): just some old-fashioned and worn-out equipment. It feels so much worse than on the photos. This is most deceptive accommodation offer I as Genius level 3 booking user have come across in the past 10 years. Upon arrival, I was shocked and told the owner via phone that this room was unacceptable and I would not stay. So he offered the "deal" that I would need to pay for one night (because he couldn't rent out the room the same evening) and he would refund me the 450 Euros for the remaining 11 nights I had booked. From booking.com I found out, that he had lied to booking claiming I had never shown up. When booking contacted him to remember him of the deal he and me agreed upon, he rejected any refunds. So he lied both to me and to booking.com and just kept the money in the end. WHAT AN unbelievable SCAM!!! The owners only write repetitive emails and make phone calls - both indeed in English. Communication style of the owners is very outrageous: it ranges from unorganized via aggressive accusations to absolutely arbitrary lying with the only goals to disparage honest guest evaluations and unjustly keeping the money of the guests. Just see the owners' responses to the other honest (i.e. low-scoring) reviews below: "This guest has stolen door. Unimaginable." "These guests have left apartment in total mess. They were arrogant on neigbours and made noise during the night. Nightmare for every host. Never again I will host these people." - normal hosts do not communicate like that... without ANY doubt. It's a shame that such a louzy place is advertized on booking. Do NOT book this place, you will be heavily disappointed!! And they want 40 Euros per night. How ridiculous is this? This filthy and smelly place is not even worth 5 Euros a night. Pay attention for the booking evaluation note at the top right: "Low score for Prague" - this "flat" has clearly an unacceptable low quality (just take the time to have a good look at the photos some users have uploaded - they give the real picture). If you go to Prague with your friends in order to spend several days of drinking, this bedroom might be an option (but then you need to share the other very modest "facilities" with 4, 5 other people which is certainly not fun), but for average tourists this bedroom is clearly below any acceptable standards. The owners seem to have zero ambition to invest anything in that room and to give the costumer a fair deal. Those few evaluations which give a 10 are faked, I think. Somebody giving this worn-out bedroom the evaluation "exceptional" or "wonderful" has not been in the bedroom or usually sleeps below a bridge. There is nothing "exceptional" or "wonderful" about that deceptive advertisement.
