• Orlando (1/5): Payed 6 nights, fled after 6 hours - Summary: We booked for 6 nights and stayed 7 hours. The only acceptable place was the bathroom, clean and ample with the proper towels. Besides the bathroom, everything else was not only unacceptable but disgusting. The closet was full (really full) of disarranged clothes. The hangers broken. The freezer 100% full of ice and food inside covered completely with it, The TV did not turned on. The living room with blankets thrown over the sofas, the kitchen was barely acceptable. The hostess (Melina) even threatened us with legal action if we were to write a negative review on Booking. It was a dreadful experience. We moved from the place after 7 hours (having payed six nughts) just to find a very pleasant accommodation

• Merve (7/5): Comfortable flat with great location - It is 15-20 min walking away to the Tower Bridge. And has a good view to the street. There is a bus stop just in front of the building. 12 min to Shadwell DLR train station. Room was clean and comfortable. You can use all the home utilities if you wish. Thanks to homeowner. Arranging a room temperature was a bit complex for me. If you wish to use kitchen it’s not so much clean and also there was lots of dust in the fan and the table of the room that we stayed and also kitchen table. A big minus for me; there was no key for our room.
• Cassandra (10/5): It was a very lovely, comfortable stay. highly recommend it - I had a wonderful stay at her apartment. The host was very kind and I felt very safe as I was traveling alone. She was very helpful and accommodating with all my needs. Location was perfect. So close to the train station/bus or anything I needed. There is a very yummy breakfast/lunch place nearby as well. The room was clean and her bed was super comfortable as I traveled for music events! bathroom was also spacious and clean. I would go back again if I travel to that area. The apartment building is also very safe with cameras in the lobby and security entrance. I highly recommend this lovely room to anyone traveling to that area. Also easy transportation to the airport from the train station N/A

• Murat (1/5): I did not stay in the place and run away - Nottingham. I esas not stay there. We left first day walked in.. Small, dirty, she offer really bad bed for my son, bathroom was in terrible condition.. owner also inform me to not talk to neighbors and if they ask us who are you we need to tell them we are her friends that was strange situation. I would like to claim my payment because you may see in your system I arrange another place from booking that exactly for same dates and paid full. So why ever I paid for this place for nothing..

• Denis (1/5): This apartment is a disaster. - Nothing The owner didn’t mentioned the fact that she will stay with us in the apartment. The bathroom was not in the room so we should’ve to go on the hallway to go to the bathroom. There was no key for our own private room !!!! Kitchen had a smell like garbage. The windows we’re dirty. The ventilator and the support for dishes had 2 fingers of dirt. The top of the coffee table that was made of glass had the dirt spread, not cleaned. Under the couch there was a lot of dust and also there we’re some open furniture full of dust and lots of things thrown away in there. I’ve told the owner all of these, but she claimed that it’s clean and we should chill out. We refused to stay and asked for a full refund or partial. She refused to give any money back. Booking was not able to give us anything, after they claimed to give us 15% back. I’ve lost 502,33 £. This is not possible. Shame on you Booking for cases like this.

• Philip (10/5): Comfortable bed and friendly apartment, close to the DLR, city and Canary Wharf. - Very comfortable bed in a modern apartment in Shadwell. I really just slept there but Melina (and her Mum) were very friendly and the place is safe and easy to find. I walked home from Borough Market one night which took about 30 mins via a very scenic Katherine's Dock. There's quite a bit of traffic noise but it didn't really worry me. Sleeping with the window open would be noisy.
