Guest Reviews
- Andreas (9/5): Superb -
- Annie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vladislava (7/5): Nice for a short trip - The design of the place and location are great It was difficult to sleep because place is not soundproof at all
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sheryl (10/5): Dazzled and delighted far beyond my expectations. - Everything. The history of the property being part owned by the Royal mother of King Rama V. The welcome plate of treats, having one floor of room that is thoughtfully and beautifully outfitted down to the last detail, including materials for a salt scrub and local treats, huge, delicious breakfasts . Staff was present 24 hrs., always courteous and helpful. Location was convenient. Just one thing - the air conditioner and fan were each very loud, so my first night was difficult. But the staff responded quickly when I reported the noise issue and got it fixed quickly. Because it was fixable and fixed, I still rated the property a 10 for its facilities:
- Schaup (10/5): Amazing home away from home in Bangkok. Wonderfully located and within walking distance to a variety of different attrac - Excellent location, wonderful staff and beautiful rooms Nothing
- Rizwan (10/5): Absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to be back - Everything was just immaculately catered to, from the smallest of details to the over all experience including the Breakfast. The place is beautiful and the location is great if you want to explore old Bangkok and the culture. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Bangkok to stay here for at least a couple of days.
- Ronald (10/5): Exceptional -
- Irina (8/5): Very good - Very clean room, welcoming and helpful staff. It’s possible to pay on arrival. On arrival we wrote paper that if we break, damage something or put a stain on towels or something else, even from make up, they will fine us. That’s really strange, make up stains and food stains are easily washed, if they are afraid of damage, don’t place expensive or ancient thing in the room, guests really don’t need to think of it all the time, not to relax.
And they have no shower box, only a bath tub, which has no curtain to protect from water on the floor. So when you wash, lots of water goes outside of bath tub on the floor and it becomes wet with lots of water, that is also not very convenient.
Also there is too loud sound which goes from the street in the room.
- Vetu1982 (9/5): Superb - Location, stuff, accomodation A little bit noise
- Raymond (8/5): Perfect spot for first visit to Bangkok - Friendly and accommodating staff. Shout out to Boss who was fantastic. Great included breakfast. Excellant location close the the major attractions and a cute neighbourhood for a local feel. Welcome gift and included snacks. Beautiful rooms. Great bathtub,,shower and toiletry products. We would have liked more space to sit outside together as we had booked both rooms for 4 of us.The balcony was only barely useable for 2 people. There were a lot of mosquitos when we did sit out front (? from the standing water in the plants out front). Not very much counter space in the rooms.
- Richard (10/5): Perfect - What a beautiful place to stay with the nicest host and staff. The coffee and tea shop on the first floor with breakfast was excellent as well.
- Alexa (10/5): Exceptional - The Knight House was so lovely! The staff is so amazingly kind and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The room was exactly as pictured. We were welcomed at check-in with a drink, cake, and fresh fruit. The room was equipped with amenities including snacks and drinks in the fridge. The location was also convenient--walking distance to the Grand Palace! There are lots of good food spots nearby, such as Kor Panit's Mango Sticky Rice. I would also recommend getting a drink from the cafe downstairs! Highly recommend The Knight House! There is some street noise at night, however, so if you are a light sleeper, you might want to bring ear plugs.
- Jan (9/5): Superb -
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional - The room was absolutely beautiful, a real pleasure to stay in for my first time in Bangkok. The staff were super lovely and helpful. I liked the location too. The breakfast was really nice too. Nothing it was a beautiful boutique stay. The staff treated me brilliantly.
- James (10/5): Last few days of our honeymoon and gave it the perfect end!!! - Fantastic location, loved the historic boutique feel of the place, enjoyable freshly made breakfast and all the staff were just lovely and helpful!!!
Well equipped with good air con and only a short walk to the palace and other cultural points of interest. Also only a short walk to get into all the hustle and bustle of Bangkok! Nothing
- Helen (9/5): Special Boutique Hotel in a Super Location - The location of this property is fantastic. It’s a very close walk to a 7-11, as well as some big markets.
It’s really cool that there are only two guest rooms in the whole building so it does feel very much like a boutique hotel.
The bed was really comfortable and the towels smelled amazing.
The layout of the whole room is good. They have made great use of the space and glass doors divide toilet/bath/vanity area.
The staff are friendly and willing to help.
While the traffic outside is loud, ear plugs are provided.
The welcome drink on arrival was beautiful and much appreciated.
They accommodated my early-morning check-out and did a quick sweep of the room to make sure I had not forgotten any belongings. One of the mornings I left the provided sign outside my door for the room to be made up, and left some towels on the floor to be replaced as per the sign in the room. I was disappointed when I came back late in the afternoon to see that nothing had been done. I said it to the manager who said they don’t have a cleaner come in every day and said if I had needed my room made up I should have said it to them. I said the signs were misleading and they should consider removing them as in most hotels they are used to indicate to staff a guest’s desire to have the room made up. She offered to do whatever I wanted done then but I explained that after a long day of walking and sightseeing in the heat I just wanted to relax in my room.
One of the lovely touches is the bowl of rose petals provided for a bath. However, the hotel should consider having someone there on a daily basis to do some cleaning as they ended up just pooled in the bath every time I took a shower afterwards.
I appreciated the effort they went to with breakfast everyday but I do think having even one or two ‘Western’ options would be great.
- Xiaoyi (9/5): Superb - nice sometimes is noisy!
- Daryl (10/5): An oasis of calm in wonderfully frenetic Bangkok - Wonderfully unique. A historical journey. Very comfortable and intimate. Staff were exceptional. Nothing
- Han (10/5): wonderful - peolpe , location, food aircondition
- Avery (9/5): nice experience - beautiful and warm place, and the staff are so helpful the street noise
- Francesca (9/5): A truly lovely experience. - This is a really beautiful place to stay. The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and furnishings. There are lots of thoughtful little touches to make your stay really memorable. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is delicious.
- Lian (10/5): Cutest hotel in Bangkok - Beautiful quaint building with superb room. Extra touches such as self spa toiletries in the bathroom were greatly appreciated. The breakfast was a feast and tasted as good as it looked.
- Wai (9/5): Superb - It’s a heritage building with grand interior and such stunning atmosphere. Super nice and caring staff at the front desk. Pretty quiet environment where we feel safe and calm. The staff gave us recommendations to massage where is actually another heritage building. Awesome experience overall! Not really much other facilities other than the room. The building has only two guest rooms. But that’s enough for us!
- Adam (10/5): The best hotel in Bangkok, absolutely delightful. - I have been travelling around South East Asia for some time and stayed at many hotels and guesthouses, and this was by far the best in every conceivable category - the style, comfort, facilities, attention to detail, food and drink, and not least the staff who were lovely and eager to please. The location is great for visiting all the central attractions, either walking or a short bus ride.
My room was a visual delight to wake up in and return to at the end of the day, and the carefully designed lighting scheme let me create just the right mood. The decorative objects, plants and flowers all around the bedroom and bathroom made it feel more like a high class home than a hotel room. The bed was very comfortable. The bath tub and shower had plenty of hot water. The generous and varied choice of food and drinks left in the room were free of charge.
Breakfast in the morning was very varied and fresh. Coffee and pastries were superb.
This was an exceptional experience and I will stay there every time I come to Bangkok. Highly recommended. Absolutely nothing. The experience was superb.
- Yun (2/5): Good staffs but over pricing - The staffs were nice. Very kind.
Over pricing place.
Thw manager made mw to read the policy even though I arrived late at night.
- Marta (10/5): A beautiful and comfortable oasis in a bustling city. <3 - Knight House was the most charming and cozy accommodations! The room and common areas were beautifully decorated. Each morning I was served a massive breakfast that kept me energized well into the afternoon. Sue and the staff were kind and helpful in every interaction. They also provided great recommendations for actives and how to get around Bangkok. The location was perfect - close enough to walk to common attractions like Koh San Road, but out of the hustle and bustle. I traveled alone and felt safe at all times. I will recommend to any friends or family visiting Bangkok. And strongly recommend booking a stay at the Knight House! Nothing to critique, I would stay there again in a heartbeat!
- Janet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (10/5): very quaint little bed-and-breakfast that is mainly located near the grand palace and some of the other Wats. - Sue, the manager, and the rest of the staff, were amazingly friendly and helpful. They were really attentive to our needs especially arranging for a taxi back to the airport. The morning breakfast was very nice and very large portions. The room itself was tastefully decorated in the Victorian style.
- Michi (10/5): Secret Spot in Bangkok - The Service is awesome there!:) They will help you whenever you need help. The whole Team was always friendly to us!:)
Its just a few minutes from the grand palace away and in the night it is more quiet than we thought :D
The bed is very confortable and you will sleep good! The breakfast is really delicious and you can choise between different Kinds every Day:)
The good Thing this is not in a typical Touristic area which we really liked :)
All in all we would say this is a secret spot in Bangkok and would Highly recommend it!:) Sometimes you have to walk a little bit more to get into the City or to the markets :) but you always can use buses or something else :)
- Cynthia (10/5): Special place to stay in Bangkok - 100% recommend staying in this lovely boutique hotel. The rooms are beautiful and there are so many nice detailed touches. The breakfast is amazing too.
- Ashlee (10/5): had a wonderful stay, loved the property! - this property feels very old Thai authentic, very clean and comfortable, the tub is incredible, staff is wonderful the room is very loud being next to a busy street
- Ange (10/5): Exceptional - Cosy room with lots of cute interesting decor. Very welcoming and kind staff. There were lots of extra toiletries and nice things in the room that made it feel more special. We only stayed one night but felt very well looked after. Traffic noise was quite loud but they provided foam earbuds. Some windows did not have coverings to block out street light so it was quite bright at night.
- Chutimon (10/5): Very Exclusive Service!!! - The location is beyond ideal because not only do you get the luxury of being within walking distance from EVERYTHING but it is also unbelievably private at the same time.
The hotel itself is very charming, the contemporary yet traditional Thai design is breathtaking, and because there’re only 2 rooms, you will also get impeccable exclusive service! It’s truly a wonderful experience for us. -
- Iuliia (10/5): It is the best place to stay in Bangkok if you are looking for good service! it’s nice, clean and with the great locatio - First it’s an amazing hospitality, care like at home
Second it’s very very cozy, beautiful, stylish design of every room and everything around this place
Third it’s a good location in old quite part of Bangkok, and Khaosan road with everything you need is pretty near nothing to say, it’s just totally good
