Guest Reviews
- Roy (10/5): It was awesome - From start to finish it was great.
As soon as you walked in you felt like you were home, clean, charming all you could want.
The area is very nice and friendly good food nice bars so relaxed.
I would recommend to friends and family.
10 out of ten Nothing
- Erin (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (7/5): Nice location - Lovely location. Nice clean apartment. Lovely village and very friendly residents. One roll of toilet paper between 4 adults. No proper cups or mugs to have a cup of tea. Not even a teabag. Its the small things and personal touches that make a place different.
- Rory (7/5): Comfortable, good location. Seagulls - Beautiful apartment. Very good location. Good facilities The curtains were thin and let the light in. The area is very noisy with seagulls.
- Toni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Munira (9/5): Recommended stay for a city break. - Really quaint and comfortable place.
Fantastic customer service from host and comms on booking.
Clean.
Good location.
Easy pick up and drop off of key- video instructions were ideal I would say the only thing I would improve is the advert / instruction booklet could be a little clearer. So this is for a whole apartment but some reviews go back to when it was just for a room letting. When you book now, one bed is a guest bed. I booked for a family member. They reported all was lovely, just a bit cold. But I would say if it had been a big problem, they could have contacted the landlord, which they didn’t. So yes, was a happy stay and glad I booked.
- Allison (9/5): Superb -
- Kirstie (9/5): Superb -
- David (5/5): Ok for a night - Location was good for a family wedding. Lovely decor. Hosts are trying very hard to make check in process seamless and communication was good. House was very cold on arrival. Property is much more expensive than hotels in the area. If you use the day bed in the second room for 2 people you can’t close the door.
- Jeremy (8/5): Very good - A bit disappointed about the smell of stall cigarettes when I whent in the door as it was advertised as a non smoking property. The bathroom looked much bigger in the photos and really cold. Also it was very windy outside so the noise from the chimney made it hard to sleep well. Apart from that it suited our purpose.
- Janne (8/5): Very good - Good instructions provided, easy check-in, convenient parking and quiet neighbourhood Beds were bit small for 3-4 adults
- Stephanie (5/5): Passable - The location was great. Easy access to the city centre. Not enough crockery had to share a bowl for our breakfast. 1 between 4.
No hot water supply in the bathroom sink.
Not a welcoming feel to the property.
- Louise (9/5): Superb -
- Donatas (9/5): Superb - 100% recomend.
- Bridget (10/5): A part of history - The apartment was cute and comfortable, with lovely decor. It's history added to the overall enjoyment The seagulls scream all night, and morning, which made it impossible to sleep, even with all the windows shut. This, obviously, can't be helped, but a warning would allow for some earplugs!!
- Jeanette (5/5): Passable - I was surprised that I received a message that I would have the apartment to ourselves. When I booked, it was not showing as a shared apartment and that someone else could book it and stay at the same time. The apartment is very small, so if it were to be shared, it would be very cramped for 4 people. At night, the birds were so loud all night long that it was hard to sleep.
- Buckley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Philipp (8/5): Private flat, ok, but nothing spectacular - Handover keys without contact person
- Hilda (10/5): Exceptional - It was very close to where we needed to be and warm and cosy very good communication about self check in Nothing
- Lesley (7/5): Good - The flat was small, generally clean and comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the flat well presented. There were notices on many with instructions on switching things off , not closing the window, not running several electrical things at once. The biggest disappointment was the shower in the morning, I was unable to get the temperature right, it was either cold or boiling hot and switching itself off. The bathroom had a damp smell, which wasn't pleasant either.
- Anastasia (10/5): a quick trip to Dublin - It is a lovely apartment, very cozy and nicely furnished. The communication with the host was very good, very clear instructions on how and what to do.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natalie-levi (10/5): Great property, excellent service, would definitely come back! - It’s such a cosy apartment, has everything you need and every little detail has been thought about. The bed is super comfy and there was plenty of room for our stuff. The owner was kind enough to let us check out late because we had a late flight and was super helpful whenever we needed anything. Genuinely perfect stay. N/A

- Mike (1/5): Bad - We didn't stay here. The day before our arrival we received an email with a small print multi-page attachment of rules that we must abide by. Part of the rules involved the fact that we would be converting a day bed in their "guest" room into a double bed once we arrived. Then, we were notified that we would be sharing the bathroom & kitchen with the owners. Then we were told that we could use the family room if the door was open. If it was closed, the owners were working and not to be bothered. They attached a video of where to find the lockbox for the key and then proceeded to show the walk to the red door and up concrete stairs to an upper level apartment. It looked so unappealing. The picture of the guest room with diagram on how to turn the day bed into a double bed also was not appealing to us. It didn't look comfortable.
So, we feel that the owners book the room and then send the above to the person who booked the room so that we (and others) will choose not to stay there. They send it at the last minute ... not when it is booked months prior. Since there is no refund then the owners get the money for the room and don't have the inconvenience of having guests.
- Simogorlix (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (6/5): Whilst I appreciate the effort of the host, we would not stay again - Very clean and had everything you needed
Convenient for getting into the City Far too small for a couple for it to be comfortable!
Recommend for a single person only!
- Morujo (9/5): Superb -
- Larraitz (9/5): Excellent stay but very small room - The house was very very clean and very well decorated. The flat is very inspiring!
The host was super nice and helpful when asking questions about how to move around. Even let us check in before the official check in time.
The host sent us a document in which there was all the information about how to enter to the house and very useful tips and recommendations to move around Dublin
There were lots of small details for guests such as spirits, te, coffe, etc
The house is well connected with the city centre by tram I would recommend this place but the room is too small for two people because when opening the bed to make it double, there is no remaining space for leaving the suitcase. Whereas for a single person would not be a problem as there would be no need of opening the bed. Lucky that we were alone in the flat that day so we could leave the suitcase and bags it in the living room.
Maybe the price is expensive when considering the room size but we had a nice stay and the mattress was very confortable
- Ludmila (9/5): Everything was perfect. We can highly recommend! Thanks very much. -
- Samuel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (1/5): Very short after realising that the information was very cleverly presented to look bigger on paper hence why there is n - location and history Bed was to way to small and it didn’t feel warm and friendly when I arrived. Good for a small very small person or child not a adult.
