- Matthias (9/5): Nice hostel in the center of Malaga - The hostel is very good, the room has a nice size, the bed is comfortable and the shared bathroom is clean.
The check-in is easy.
It is close to the center, only some minutes (walking) away from the main touristic spots.
You can reach buses, metro and cercanias within a 10-minute walk.
Super markets and good restaurants are also nearby.
It was a great stay and I would recommend it!

Ubytovanie sa mi natoľko nepáčilo, že som išla radšej prespať na letisko. Fotky výrazne nezodpovedajú tomu, do čoho prídete...

- Muñoz Zafra (1/5): Very disappointing stay: misleading listing, poor hygiene, and absolutely not worth the money. - Honestly, there was nothing I liked. The only positive aspect was the location, but it does not compensate for the rest of the experience. The room was NOT the one shown in the listing. It was completely different and very disappointing. The place was extremely dirty, including the room and common areas. The house didn’t even have a proper living room.
When I needed to use the cutlery, it was in such bad condition that it made me feel very uncomfortable and disgusted.
We were only given one towel, which is unacceptable.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t take photos of the accommodation itself due to a technical problem with my device at that moment, but I do have photos that I sent to a family member showing the poor conditions. Overall, it was a very bad experience and a waste of money.
- Omid (2/5): - The location was somehow near to city center around 15 minute walking The cleanness was disappointed and also so noisy.

- Fiorella (2/5): The worst place I’ve been - The bed was comfortable that’s it Extremely dirty, with cockroaches all over the place, all the kitchen utensils where damage the bathroom was never clean and smelled like urine and cigarettes. Other guests had the same problem. The Room was next to a main street in where downstairs the garbage trucks collects the trash at 8pm, 1am, 6 am , 4 pm so you will never sleep or rest because you can hear everything.
The person in charge was a very rude and disrespectful guy. Don’t recommend try other thing really is for your own good

- Jorge (4/5): Disappointing -
- Przemek (1/5): Bad - The room didn't reflect the listing on Booking. It was definitely smaller and not entirely clean. The cupboard door was broken, leaving very little space inside. The window faced a very noisy street. There was no air conditioning. After reporting our concerns to the owner, he said the photos were taken 10 years ago!!! I don't recommend it; it's better to pay a few euros more and get a nicer place.
- Fasial (5/5): Passable -
- Manuel (3/5): Spend a few extra € and stay somewhere a bit nicer. - The check in process is unnecessarily complicated and long, long because it took three attempts before it would work. After a long day travelling this is not what anyone wants to be doing standing in the street at 2am which leads me to another problem with the check in process - scanning your passport/ID on the street.
Malaga is probably one of the hottest places in Spain so the fact that there is no air conditioning in the room is just stupid and uncomfortable. Open a window? Forget it, the place is right on the probably the busiest street in the entirety of Spain. The rubbish collection trucks come round at 1am, then again at 1:30 and again at 2am to empty all the various rubbish bins that are right outside.
Cockroaches in the bathroom and 1 in the bedroom. I squashed it with the Apple TV.
This location has a shared bathroom. I messaged the owner to say there was no toilet paper, he said he was “on to it”. We returned to our room and there was still no toilet paper. I messaged him again and he said he had forgot.
Spend a few extra € and stay somewhere a bit nicer.
- Albie (7/5): Good -
- Antonio (1/5): Bad -
- Justyna (2/5): Rozczarowanie - Location, walking distance to tourist attractions.
Quick contact with the owner. Upon arrival, filling out registration forms at the building's entrance via the Internet for 10 minutes because the owner had not sent any information in advance
DIRTY, VERY DIRTY throughout the apartment!
It was scary to use the bathroom, it was so dirty, there was hair everywhere. It's just dirty and you can see that no one cleans there.
It was colder in the room than outside. We were there at the beginning of January. 16°C outside and the apartment feels like a morgue.
No air conditioning or heating.
Loud, windows that did not insulate from the street noise in any way, nor did they block the flow of cold air (there will definitely be warm air in the summer too).
There was no central light in the room, there was a hanging lamp but it didn't work.
Only night lights, and two of them connected to poor extension cords, so either the light or the charged phone.
There was a coffee machine in the kitchen for capsules, but due to hygiene, it was scary to use it, and even if you wanted to , there were no DRINKING CUPS or GLASSES
Poor flow of information with the owner,
He responded immediately...
That's not the problem in this case, ...but...
The situation last night at the facility..
The power was cut off in the stairwell to the building and the intercom, which we used to get into the building didn't work , no information was provided to us...
The owner during the day left the physical keys to the building when we were not at the property, but did not inform us about it at all....
Yes, I saw that the keys appeared on the cabinet in the hall, But, there were 4 other rooms in the apartment, so if I know something is not mine, I don't touch it.
So at 10:30 PM we waited for half an hour at the main entrance for a "good neighbor" to open the door for us..
- Gvantsa (3/5): Poor -
- Janet (1/5): Would not stay even if it was free. - close to town center, but on a very, very noisy street was in shock when we saw the room which was poorly decorated, but most of all the high level of noises coming from the traffic. i was actually thinking about finding another place to stay if were was opportunity to get money back. We didn't sleep at all. We actually left for the airport as soon there was day light to escape the noise.
took a shower, but did not dare stepping on the bathroom mat as it looked quite dirty.
- Andrei (5/5): Passable - Very difficult check-in procedure. The entry code system was not working. a crap. The owner only replied on WhatsApp and did not understand that his system was not working. It was terrible until I managed to get in, helped by a man who worked in the shop to the right of the entrance and who knew the owner. I have seen in the reviews that others before me had the same problem and, therefore, the owner does not care
- Dimitrios (5/5): Passable -
- Ilic (3/5): Poor - Key pickup can be at any time, communication with the host is good, and the bathroom has shower gel and shampoo. The accommodation is in a good location and very close to the city and the main promenade. However, it is so noisy and on a busy street that it’s impossible to sleep. The doors throughout the apartment are old, and there is constant noise from other guests. The room is too small, as is the bed. The room was clean, but the other shared areas, such as the kitchen and bathroom, could be much better.
- Alessandra (1/5): Horrible - The room was very dirty and warm, the sheets was dirty with blood and everything was old and uncomfortable. The room was very dirty and warm, the sheets was dirty with blood and everything was old and uncomfortable.
- Abubaker (4/5): Disappointing -
- Pepa (1/5): Very rude owners - There was a kitchen you could cook. There was no fan or air conditioner. It was summer and the room was hot.
The owners were not nice people. You have till 12pm to check-out but they start asking you out by 11:45am. They will be on you and even open the door asking you to leave.
- Beti (5/5): Passable -
- Gravino (1/5): The house of bed bugs - Listen carefully, don't get lost in this place. A place like this should never exist, even if it were free. The topic is serious, in these rooms there is no security, and there is no hygiene, customer care does not exist. Unfortunately, we stayed overnight in this place for six long days, ruining part of our holiday. We were misled by the untrue photos and some untrue reviews. On the first day we suffered verbal abuse via chat from the host, saying a bad word to a woman who doesn't know how to check in is a shame. We got over it, but after the first few nights spent in a bed full of bed tops, we asked to be moved but were denied. I ask you all to listen to us, and not go to this nightmare place. After our phone calls to complain to the reservation, the host also changed the door codes without warning us on purpose, we had to sleep on the street, luckily, all the streets of Malaga are cleaner than this b&b. We will try to upload the photos, the same ones that we sent a reservation to get a refund, even the operators were incredulous, and agreed that a place like this should not be open to the public. I hope you stay away from this establishment. Happy holidays everyone.
- Aoife (6/5): Pleasant - Location. Noisy and could be cleaned.
- Ismayilova (6/5): Pleasant - Room was spacious and clearn. Outside i very noisy
The host replies were too long
bathroom needs renovation
- Frizzel (6/5): Not for me - Location is fine The room is rather big and the location is fine, but that's about all the positive I have to say about this property. You only get the link to submit your details, like passport number, when you're already in front of the door. So, first to a cafe to do this administration. Then you open the front door by dialling a telephone number (every time) and the door to the rooms by typing a number on a keypad. However, that door opens only by pushing really hard. I was told via WhatsApp that the key to my room would be in a drawer in the hallway. Yes, indeed it was, but among all kinds of other stuff, including another key.
On the second day, the keypad number didn't work. "Oh yes, we changed!" Right, and they don't think about informing me? On the third day, I thought the keypad number was changed again, because the door wouldn't open when pushing. Only when I kind of stormed the door it flipped open.
The apartment is on a rather busy street, and the double glazed windows don't keep out the traffic noise. I think the problem is the middle sliding window, which leaves a small gap.
April nights can be really cold in Málaga and for me the provided blanket was not thick enough. No extra blankets are available.
As the title of this review indicates, next time I'm in Málaga, I'll look for other accommodation options.
- Shpekkie (3/5): Overpriced for the standard they offer. - Unfortunately, the only thing I like about this accommodation is the location, literally a few minutes from the city centre. Where to start? Probably the entrance door from the street which is opened only with your mobile. If you run out of battery, you have a problem.
The accommodation is generally just a shared flat. Cleanliness in the flat is just necessary, the amount of dust on the fridge seemed to be there for years. I was not using the kitchen and appliances very much but when I needed a fork I found out there are none, just knives and spoons.
Another shocking experience was in the toilet which can have further consequences but the way how is dealt with it is simply not pleasant. As a man, I am using toilet paper for one reason after you use it, you CAN'T throw it into the toilet but you must throw it in the bin next to the WC. Never seen this before.
The single room has a window which leads to the dirty disgusting inner block. Obviously, Malaga can be very hot during the year so you want to sleep with opened window but then you hear how neighbours live and some of them start their life very early.
Generally, I do not need much in my accommodation as I am a very low-cost traveller but if you pay some price, you expect some standard and this was below the standard I would expect for the price I paid.
- Soraia (1/5): I will never come back, host rude AF !!!! - Near the city center. The room was spacious. Very rude host with bossy behavior and bad attitude.
You have to do all the work of registration check in , cause he’s lazy AF! Plus I got many problems on entering on the main gate, cause the keys were wrong ! The wash machine and the dryer machine were supposed to be included on the booking , but he switched off both of them, to spare and save money on the electricity.
- Ibrahim (1/5): I slept on the street when I arrived at night from the airport and found the reception door closed. - I slept on the street when I arrived at night from the airport and found the reception door closed.👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 I don't recommend it I slept on the street when I arrived at night from the airport and found the reception door closed.👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 I don't recommend it
- Soraia (1/5): Terrible experience and communication with the owner - . The owner wants you to do the automatic check in. So basically you should work on his place.
The owner of the house will invent a bunch of excuses, just to don’t let you use the wash machine and the dryer, that is supposed to be part of the amenities, included on the price that us customers already have paid.
- Montalvo (2/5): Eug…..!!!! No way to describe - No item to like Very dirty, poor furniture etc
- Szymon (4/5): Disappointing -
- Gabriela (6/5): Not as bad as others said, but... There are some inconvenience - Lacalization is great if you travel by bus or a train and you dont really need to buy a bus ticket to Explore the town because everything is close at hand, we really appreciate that. Its good to have access to the kitchen and there is (almost) all of the equipment needed for a quick meal. Although it should be left cleaner for guests. Hairs everywhere!!! The housekeeper does not clean properly, there were food leftovers and broken glass pieces on our table in the room.
We kindly asked for additional blankets before our arrival, and we were told we get some, but WE DID NOT. Also, ask for the link to online check in BEFORE you arrival, othervise you'll end up waiting on the street like idiots, unable to get in.
The window is not hermetic and cold air with all the noises (loud ones) from the street wake you up.
In the kitchen there are no forks at all.
- Nathalie (5/5): An ok stay but I wouldn't go back there nor recommend - Location is good, close to historique centre. Self check in was a nightmare. Took me 40minutes to get inside the room. Impossible to check in if you don't have a working cell phone.
It is on a very noisy street.
Sharing the bathroom was also a nightmare (other tenant left water all over the floor...
- Lansana (9/5): Great place - The location was perfect
- Gregorio (5/5): Passable - Very loud and shared spaces not very clean.
- Onyebuchi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mohamed (9/5): Amazing stay 4 the second time in row; great location plus welcoming and helpful staff . Cheers - Highly recommend it to Malaga lovers
- Julie (4/5): Not good for sleep!! - The size of the room was good. We read the reviews and thought, "how noisy can it be"? Oh, it's noisy!! Especially when the bin trucks come around at 2:40am every morning! The curtains don't filter out the light from the busy street either, so, if like me, you need a dark room to sleep in, this definitely isn't the accommodation for you.
The flat is small with 3 other bookable rooms (the single bedroom is tiny), a small kitchen, and a shared bathroom. You will definitely get to know your flat mates!
Again, it's one of those Krypton Factor check-in situations, so make sure you have plenty of charge on your phone with Internet access and WhatsApp.
We weren't sent the check-in form in advance of arrival, so were stood scanning our passports in the street outside! Not ideal.
- Ricardo (7/5): Good -
- Mario (6/5): For a short stay 2 or 3 days I think It’s good value for the money. - Close to the city and transport. A noise from street or other rooms. Glad I had ton of pillows 😀
- Giacomoavondo (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mohammed (1/5): Bad - Nothing No reception no keys no correcte pass word no eseay to chec in, very complecated
- Mohamed (8/5): Average - Location Nothing
- Matuz (9/5): I enjoyed my stay! - The bed was extremely comfy and the wifi worked well. The bathroom was nice and so was the kitchen. I also felt very safe in my room, security was up to date. Sound from outside made its way easily indoors. The washing/drying machines did not work. Lower lock on the bathroom door was a bit difficult to use.
- Andersson (1/5): Very bad - The day we checked in had to wait 20 minutes before he came. The place is very dirty does not look like the pictures. One day something had spat down the entire toilet and the whole house smelled. The toilet is never cleaned. We stayed there for a week and got no clean bed linen or towels. Says you have access to a washing machine, but it turns them off. We were not allowed to cook fish because it smelled too much. Worst place I have ever stayed. Have complained to booking, they think they should remove it. Not worth the money.
- Wray (6/5): Nice and cheap for the one night stop over - Location The sheets seemed a bit grubby to be fresh cleaned
- Beñat (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jakub (7/5): Good -
- Yev (5/5): Okay for 1 night - Good location, the city centre is in walkable distance The windows are too thin and do not protect from outside noise
The street is loud even at night
The fan is old and noisy so you can’t relax in the room because of constant noise
The host forgot about me and I needed to wait to check in. Then I needed to help other new tenants to find their room and keys because host didn’t help them either.
- Ian (8/5): Good cost-benefit - Perfect location; it was close to everything. Our room was a nice size, with a table, fan, couch, TV, and couch. There is a kitchen available. Communication was via WhatsApp, so we didn't meet anyone in person, just the other guests. It wasn't clear when we booked that this was a shared apartment in a common building, but the check-in system worked well. There are four bedrooms available, and we share all the facilities with the other people staying. All doors have locks. The windows are very thin, and you couldn't close them completely; therefore, it was noisy.
- Anezka (6/5): Pleasant - The property has good location, is its close to the city centre. The problem is that its on busy street and Windows are very thin, so its not possible to sleep in the night. Thank you for late check out at 13:00. The check in was quiet long But possible to manage. But i think this room should not be on the Booking.com till the Windows will be fixed.
- Amine (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (5/5): I cannot recommend. - It was close to restaurants and stores. It was close to a busy, noisy street. The large sliding windows had large gaps that didn't keep out much noise. The curtains didn't keep out much light. The room was packed with long-stay furniture that made the space around the bed tight and sitting at the table in the room uncomfortable. The kitchen was small and tight for all four guest rooms who had access to it. There was no oven. The check in was a multi-setup process with many details.
- Ronan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Stephen (8/5): Very good - good instructions
- Gerry (7/5): good - check in
