• Mattia (4/5): - Il proprietario è molto gentile, ma purtroppo è l'unica nota positiva. La camera era estremamente sporca, dalle lenzuola macchiate al bagno in condizioni pessime. Avevo prenotato due notti , ma dopo la prima sono dovuto fuggire. Mi dispiace, perché ripeto, il proprietario è stato super accogliente aspettandomi fino a mezzanotte per il check in. È vero che il prezzo era molto basso, ma con soli 2-3€ in più si può prenotare un'altra stanza anche più vicina al centro.

• Elisheva Lynda (10/5): אני אחזור. כבר הזמנתי. - אהבתי הכול לגבי השהות, מהרגע הראשון ועד העזיבה. החדר גדול ומואר. חדר הרחצה מיושן, אבל באותו זמן לא משלמים מחיר של Hilton, אז זה נשאר תואם למחיר. בעל הבית מדהים. יש לו שיחה טובה. האנגלית שלו מאפשרת לדבר על כל הנושאים. הוא עובד בחברה ולכן לא תמיד יכול לענות להודעות, אבל במקרי חירום הוא יודע להיות זמין. הוא נותן לנו להיכנס לבית שלו ומעניק לנו את האמון שלו. הוא מאוד מכבד, חם, מחויך. הוא מקסים. ובנוסף, הוא גם נראה טוב. אהבתי הכול. אפילו ובעיקר את המיקום. השכונה מאוד נעימה. השכנים מקסימים. האגם נמצא במרחק 4 דקות הליכה. זה לא אזור תיירותי. אין הרבה מה לראות בסביבה, אבל נטמעים לגמרי בחיים המקומיים.

• ROBERT (8/5): Excellente option peu coûteuse avec quelques bémols toutefois. - Un accueil des plus chaleureux, généreux et disponible. Le propriétaire est charmant, parle un anglais approximatif (mais beaucoup mieux que mon vietnamien !!!), il donne des renseignements très pertinents, est toujours prêt à rendre service. Très sécuritaire comme endroit. À proximité des autobus et services. Prix très abordable et fruits disponibles au petit déjeuner. La chambre est grande, la toilette commune est tout près. Il y a beaucoup de lumière et de verdure à la fenêtre. Tout près de la population, et éloigné un peu du centre. Le lit est très ferme, on peut aimer ou non. Pour moi, c'était un peu trop ferme, mais c'est une question de goût. Le centre est à quinze minutes de bus, donc un peu excentré par rapport au vieux Hanoï. Pas évident à trouver la première fois.

• philip (10/5): - It's a perfect place among local life in Hanoi Quiet, clean, and peaceful Khiem, the owner, is an amazing person who will tell you interesting things about the country and the city, show the highest level of hospitality, and treat you with love and care! He is very creative, and we really enjoyed our conversations about poetry and languages! Also, when we had forgotten our thing and left, he wrote to us, and we came back to pick it up We are so thankful for this place!

• Vlad (10/5): Homely room in beautiful Hanoi house - We really enjoyed staying here. It was very personal because unlike a hotel here you get to meet the owner of the house who is very kind and welcoming and speaks good English. The place is very quaint and cozy and the owner has put a lot of TLC into the house. They only have two rooms so it was very quiet. There is working hot water, towels and an AC. There is also hot water for tea and we even got babanas as a gift and bánh bao (the filled steamed bun) from the owner. At first it seemed a little far from the city centre but then we discovered that we could easily to almost anywhere with bus number 2. It was perfect to be far away from the madness of the old town and in a real neighborhood. The house is down a little alleyway and only has a small sign so it is a good idea to contact the owner before showing up. A great homely place.
• Rita (9/5): Superb - If you are searching for a local guesthouse where you feel like you are living like a local, this is your place! Khiem is a great host and super friendly. The neighborhood is as local as can be and therefore we had the opportunity to really see how people live (I never saw a tourist around).
• Isabel (8/5): Very homey place for a short stay - I only stayed here one night before taking an early bus the next morning and the owner was so kind to wait up for me even though my flight got delayed and I ended up arriving a lot later than expected, which I really appreciated. The location of the house is in a cute small, very-Hanoi, alley but also right next to a big street with multiple bus stops to get around. The place itself is comfortable and felt very homey!
• Dobrescu (7/5): If you are looking for a budget room - Price was good, but it’s quite difficult to find the location. Fortunately, everyone seems to know about this homestay and people from the street were able to help us. The neightbourhood looks scetchy, however I think it’s quite safe actually. The room was not clean at all (and I am being polite). The bathroom is even worse. There is no actual mattress on the bed, so if you have any back problema this will be an issue. The room is nothing like the one from the pictures.

• Daniel (8/5): Very good - Khim is a great host. He takes care of everything and if there is a problem he immediately takes care oof it. I loved the location as you are with the locals together. I was more haning out in the neighbourhood and you can reach the old city by foot if you like. 20k for a ride with the maniacs on the motorbike. For me it was the place to arrive and it was perfect for me. Internet is working fine and the area is quiet in the night. I definetly come back. I had one day cold water because the boiler was not on. But if all works fine y have a great hot shower. The bed is quiet hard. But my jetlag was not taking care of it! It,s a bit hard to fined a good coffee in the morning.

The pictures are true to how the venue looks and we could check in quite easily. The bedsheets had stains on them and there were no bedsheets or pillowcases, so we felt as the bed to sleep in was not the cleanest. Also the mattress was incredibly hard, it was not very comfortable to sleep on

The price was also very reasonable. Although we slept well, it's good to note that the mattress was very hard. • Nikolai (10/5): Amazing hidden treasure in a calm area, just a short bus ride away from the big city - The host is incredibly nice. We were many hours late unfortunately, but he took it all with a smile. The house and the room is huge. No bugs, huge windows, great AC, nice shares bathroom, good bus connections, calm area not too far from the center. Some renovating noise next door, but that can happen anywhere. The mattress is very typically Vietnamese, stone hard. You get used to it!

• Moisés (9/5): Superb - Super friendly owner, really nice big rooms with aircon. Drinkable water fountain available. For us it was completely okay, but just be aware that it is a bit far from the center (15 min to temple of litterature on foot).
• Eva (9/5): Superb - What really amazed me is how the owner was so kind, extremely polite, soft spoken, and I guess his love language is "act of service" 🤣🫶 Mineral water, coffee, tea, and even milk is available downstairs. He even gave me his permission to eat his instant noodle and egg!!! Overall the room was perfect, AC, hot water, hairdryer were functioned properly. The place is a bit hidden and hard to find, internet was not really good and there's no window so if you prefer room with window, I'm not suggesting you to stay here.

Location is far away from the city centre, you have to take a bus or grab to see any tourist attraction. It is hard to find because you have to walk through dark and narrow streets to get there. The room and bathroom was unprepared and dirty (for example there were hairs in floor drain and many used toothbrush in the bathroom)

• Priyabrata (10/5): Awesome homestay - It was an awesome stay. It's around 3-4 km from the Hanoi old quarter, so quite peaceful. The room was very clean, well maintained and the host was super nice. Also, since it is a homestay, the host conveyed us not to make loud noises during the night to disturb others. Nothing.

• Roy (7/5): It was a good experience and I can stay here once more. - I had the freedom to use living space and kitchen area. The owner is kind and he offered fruits to me. He helped me about location and other travel related information. There was drinking water facility (hot and cold). No time boundaries for in and out. It was little challenging to find the house as I reached there in the night but uncle guided me about this.

The owner is SO NICE, speaks English as well as couple of other languages. He communicated quickly and left fruit to eat downstairs. Kitchen area to use as well as TV. I would go back for sure. Only thing for me was that I was carrying a lot of luggage and taxi can only take you to entrance of alley..but it was ok.

Also, there was a lot of space for all our luggage, a desk and chair and also a hairdryer. And you have a very good public bus connection to the city Centre from the place. Recommended! The bathroom was not very clean and also pretty cold.
