• Ying-hua (9/5): It's a nice Airbnb style homestay. - It's far away from the city center, but you can take the train and bus to get to the place. It's in a quiet residential area. The room is spacious. The shared bathroom is clean. It takes at least 40 minutes to get to the city center by public transportation, but it wasn't a problem for me.
• Rosina (10/5): Comfortable peaceful house in proximity of the famous Schoenhausen Residence - I did like very much the friendliness of the landlord, I was warmly welcomed and help with luggage was offered immediately. He went the extra mile and explained surrounding historic buildings. The comfortable bath tub in the clean and large bathroom is something I would have liked to take with me :-). Everything you need is provided in the kitchen for you, the induction hob, oven, fridge and dishwasher for your convenience. I found peace and tranquility in the quiet house just a 10 minute walk away from the Residence of Schoenhausen, where you can explore recent history of the former East German state which received state guests there. Sit afterwards in the sun and enjoy a coffee and one of the scrumptious cakes in the small cafe opposite the entrance and take a walk in the Residence Gardens.

• Pia (10/5): Exceptional - It was close to the Nürbergring and a nice walk up the hill. The breakfast was lovely. Owner was nice. The bar looked cosy but the owner said they can’t find the staff to open it
• Traveler (10/5): Short escape in Berlin - Large room with twin beds in a quiet and nice neighborhood. There are super markets around within 5 min walking distance. There is a bus stop right outside of the house. Also the Pankow-Heinersdorf (S2, S8) subway stop is around 15-20 min walking distance. The bathroom, the kitchen and the living room of the house is shared with other guests. The room and the house was clean. The owner was really friendly and ready to fulfill our requests. Even though we didn't meet in person we had a short chat everyday. We could even use bicycles for free to ride along Berlin but we had no time to try. The room is located away from the city center and that makes it difficult to come back from the morning tours, rest and then go out again. Also you need over an hour to reach the house from the airport (and vice versa). We would advice to put curtains on the bathroom windows. Nothing really hurt us but we just state the facts for the next visitors.
