• Andrea (9/5): Comfortable, spacious, safe and super convenient - I’ve had the pleasure of staying at Woodstock twice in the recent past. Both rooms were wonderful. Clean, spacious and great WiFi and smart TV access. I also felt very safe at the property, which as a female solo traveller was super important to me. Peter is a warm, friendly and a very welcoming host. Highly recommend a stay at Woodstock if you want that home away from home feel.

• Mauricio (9/5): Superb - A better cost-benefit would have been hard to find. The accommodation has everything that it offers: a clean, comfortable and cheap option for staying in London. The bathroom was shared with the other guests but neat and clean. The room was small, but it had a wardrobe to store luggage and clothes, a Frigobar for cooling water and drinks, and an electric kettle to warm water for coffee and tea. Peter, the host, is friendly and prompt to help anytime.

• Lukáš (8/5): A good, reasonably priced option to stay close to central London. - Fine place to stay for good price. About 10 minute walk from metro station. Fridge in the room. Kettle in the room. The only toilet for 3 apartments is combined with the only shower and sink for those apartments. You can hear noises and doors too much. One blanket in the room.
• Jan (6/5): Shared toilet! - Convenient location, Friendly owner The place had seen better times, probably quite some time ago. It desperately needs renovation, mainly new carpets and doors. From pictures is seems that there is more bathrooms, but in fact there is 1 (one) shared toilet!!

• Fego123 (10/5): Wedding anniversary - From start to finish Peter the owner was very helpful even dropped us off in morning to catch our train which was lovely touch ☺️ Location was good in-between 2 underground stations we recommend using Golders green about 15 minutes walk and plenty of shops and cafes on way. There was nothing bad to report all good 👍

• Sára (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice host :) the room and bathroom were very clean, the room is quite big. We liked that you can take a bath or a shower. The neighbourhood is very nice, quiet but also not far from the city centre. We immediately felt like at home. We didn't mind, but close is a tube station and the tube is overground so you can hear it at night.
• Fabio (8/5): Nice stay - The place is very quiet and the host is always helpful in case of need, without being invasive! The bathroom was outside the room and, even if it was intended just for us, going there required leaving the room and passing through the common corridor, that is not very comfortable, but for us it was ok

• Louisa (9/5): Superb - Communication with the landlord went great. Whenever we had trouble in some sort of way, our landlord would help us out within a couple of minutes. He was incredibly friendly, and we enjoyed a good small talk!

Nothing fancy, but confortable enough. The host, Peter, is very friendly. If you are looking for a very confortable and fancy place, this is not a good choice.

• Petra (10/5): Exceptional - Very good location - quiet, safe, approximately 10 min from tube station. Bus stop is closer, probably a 5 min walk. Room was very clean, bathroom also. Owner was really helpful, we had no problem with access. Would highly recommend if you want a good night's sleep in London, in clean and nice room in safe and quiet neighborhood.

• Claire (1/5): Unsuitable accommodation offering - Unbelievably small room with no floor space other than to shuffle around the bed, (which filled the room). The bed was torn and there felt a sense of uncleanliness. Immediately we decided to leave and book/pay for alternative accommodation. Far too cramped and insufficient for 2 adults.

The hosts gave us bottled water also. The remote control of the TV didn't work or the battery was empty. The kettle was very dirty and the cups were dusty.

There are many good restaurants and supermarkets near the station Golders Green. The room is very clean and the host is very kind. The self check-in works perfectly.

Last but not least, our host Peter was generous as possible. Water supply, room cleaning continously and even dropping off for return ride… We are very grateful. Nothing, nada, niente, nichts!

• Arjun (9/5): Superb - Nice affordable little place in a cosy Jewish neighborhood.. 10 mins walking distance from the metro and 5 mins from the bus station.. The owner of the place was extremely hospitable and made sure all our needs were taken care of very well. The security system he has in place is a fantastic effort to have a hassle free entry/exit at any time you like. - No elevator and a narrow staircase can make lifting heavy luggages a challenge - No staff to help you with anything as it's not a hotel. It's more like a B&B (without breakfast :D)
• Trevor (7/5): Spacious room. Good location for us. Good host. Disappointed that our initial booking was cancelled. - Peter is a good host. He supplies tea bags coffee sachets sugar and milk. Its great having the fridge in the room. There is bottled water at the front door and you can help yourself. Easy walk to the bus stop and 15 mins to the underground.. Our booking with the en suite bathroom was cancelled. An email was sent to us early on a Saturday morning stating that the full amount must be paid by 00.00 30 April which we understood to be by midnight on the 30 April but it was actually midnight on 29 April. Very confusing and disappointing. When I wanted to pay on the 30 April I saw that the booking had been cancelled at 01.00 on the Sunday 30 April. I immediately tried to rebook but our room was already taken. We had to pay more money for a room with a shared bathroom. The owner Peter undertook to refund the price difference but only refunded part thereof. Suggest sending email as well as a text message and to change the time that payment has to be made to 23.59. We didn't enjoy sharing the bathroom. There was no hand towel in the bathroom.

• Mordantgeese (8/5): Lovely stay!! - Loved the location, local community was comfortable and welcoming. High water pressure in the shower - thank god! To preface: this situation was our fault lol. There weren't many towels in the room and only one pillow per person - however if we had contacted the staff I am sure more would've been provided on request, we were just very busy and didn't get round to it. To fix this in the future just keeping a couple spare in the cupboard might be a good idea, but otherwise everything else was great!

• Markos (9/5): Excellent value for money option - It's in a lovely neighborhood very close to the metro station. The house is very clean and silent which in my case is what I want Everything was great. Maybe it will be great if they change the pillows for a better ones.

The place was about a 15 min walk from the tube station, which could make things difficult if you have a lot of luggage. However, Peter was very kind that he gave me a lift to the tube station in his car.

The neighbourhood is quiet and full of restaurants without being too far from the centre of town. By rating things so high, it's going to be harder to get a room and I want to know it'll always be available when I want to stay there.

I - The right room we were moved on the second day was quite large and cleaned. I booked a double room with private bathroom but they allocated us in a small room with shared toilet and I didn’t get a refund.
• Albert (9/5): Superb - Nice, quiet neighbourhood, within easy reach from central London via the tube (Golders Green on the Northern line) . Bathroom only had to be shared with one other room and was regularly cleaned. We visited London in January and the heating was perfect: we could regulate it ourselves. We chose the smallest budget room because we travel regularly to London as tourists, always on a budget. TV and fridge inside room, shared blow dryer available on the landing. Peter sent us clear instructions beforehand. We had a very nice chat with cleaner Michelle, who made us feel very welcome. Bedding a little bit too short for tall people.
• Lorenzo (8/5): Pleasurable stay - would recommend. - spacious room, functioning facilities and comfortable beds. a long walk from the tube station but that is to be excepted if you put the directions on your map beforehand. only cons though!
• Levibergen (8/5): We enjoyed our stay at Woodstock, it was good value for our money - I liked the warm welcome from Peter and we really appreciated that they could prepare the room for us earlier than official check-in times. That was a huge help. Peter was very helpful and kind and always quick to respond. Overall, we had a very nice stay at Woodstock. The location was quite convinient with the tube roughly 10-15 min walk away and then a 20-25 min ride to the city. Othetwise the neighborhood was quite and calm. There was really nothing that we didn't like. Obviously if someone wants some luxury this is not the right place, but it was very comfy, very good staff, good value for money and in a convinient location. So again, can't complain at all.

• Ayydany (9/5): Really good value and a good experience - Very comfortable facilities and room. Check-in and Check-out process was very easy and straightforward. The zone is good, even when coming back later into the night there were no issues. There is a school nearby so mornings can be a bit nosier but nothing of note. Peter always had a smile to meet us and was very nice with us, helping us in anything we might need. Just one small nitpick, on the shared bathroom there are two showers, but the standing one didn't seem to work (water had no pressure) so we ended having to shower on the bathtub, on which has a short shower hose so the showers weren't the most comfortable. I'm sure that'll be fixed in no time.
