- Mario Egon (2/5): - Location is great The smell was unbearable
- Mikael (1/5): - No answer at all on 3 week from the owner No answer at all on 3 week from the owner
- Anna (5/5): Troppo caldo - Ottima posizione! Camera piccolissima, nessuna finestra, faceva caldissimo oltre alla presenza di piumoni invernali in piena primavera, non siamo riusciti a dormire:(
- Stephen (1/5): Awful! - Nothing Room was small and smelled awful toilet light didnt work and was too small to close the door once occupied. I didnt even stay the night, choosing instead to get the last train home. Would NEVER book it again.
- Ray (10/5): Excellent value for money - Good location Nothing

Literie inconfortable. Aération de la chambre inexistante.

- Bianca (9/5): Booked here twice, and I hope there will be a third! The host is lovely and the place is homely! - I always seek out this property before looking elsewhere, so I was over the moon when I was able to stay there for a second time! Lauren is super sweet, helpful and always available to respond should you have any questions. Despite sharing the property with others, everyone respects everyone. She sends clear instructions to follow, both to get to the property and your responsibilities as a tenant. I had the same bedroom, which was a bonus in my eyes since it wasn't overwhelming. It is the most convenient space for me since I regularly attend a conference in this area of London, and I can literally roll out of bed, shower, cross the road, and be there without any stress commuting. Unfortunately, there was a heatwave when I was there. Heatwaves in London are generally horrible. The main problem I had was trying to stay cool, as I found one fan that didn't seem to work very well and had evidently not been used before.
Showering is also an issue when sharing a property with other tenants. Whilst there are two toilets, there is only one shower and bath. My recommendation is to have a showering schedule that tenants can fill during their stay to advise others without causing any tensions. I am a particular human who finds socialising with strangers somewhat awkward, especially when mentally consumed with other matters.

- Koense (8/5): - My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Lauren’s loft in London. The location was perfect — just a short walk to the train station, which made getting around the city really easy. Lauren was an excellent host, providing clear and thoughtful instructions that made check-in simple and stress-free. The loft was clean and a great place to relax after a long day exploring. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend!
- Majedaldein (1/5): SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM Scam SCAM SCAM Scam SCAM Scam never responded and took my money and booking never responde - Nothing It’s a scam
- Larissa (1/5): - I have asked to change the dates several times, and the property never replied! I ended up not going and Booking.com also never supported me with this
- Lee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alan (6/5): Good priced flat share. - Location was perfect. Instructions were clear and accurate. I really had not realised that it was a flat share!
- John (9/5): Enjoyable stay. - Instructions for check in were spot on apart from you have to take lift to 2nd floor I had to ask another resident for that information. Accomodations were as described in description.
Easy to access & check out.
Very comfortable bed & large TV in room. Kitchen was very good with all amenities that you could possibly need or want. Bathroom was immaculate.
Location superb. A little cold at night. The host described it as under floor heating activated by pressure of body weight on the carpet, well I weigh 13 stone & no heat. Room a little small for king size bed.
- Giles (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and easy to access with good facilities
- Bieniewicz (10/5): Really good accomodation -

- Melanie (4/5): Disappointing - Good location for backpackers Tiny room, would have preferred a smaller bed for the size of the room. Poor lighting. Tired decor throughout. No window in whole property. Did not see host at flat. Would have liked tea/coffee available in kitchen area. All 3 parts of bedding were mismatched. Name of property does not reflect. There was no warm welcome which I was expecting
- Herminia (1/5): Bad - Location in Liverpool center.but staff service, instructions are very bad and confius.I am not hapy...
I am chaking one hour no have staff help me.and I call many time not anwer 😏😏 All.all. The price does not match the room. The room is very small and the furniture is not good.I regret and I am stressed because I has booking.
- Penny (3/5): Will not be staying there again - Location close to work Difficult to find, no one on site to contact, bedroom not very clean, shared facilities.
- Hardy (3/5): Poor - Location Bed linen wasn't changed
- Sara (7/5): Convenient for Liverpool Street Station - Perfect Location, specially if you need to go to Stansted Airport. Easy and comfortable check-in process, I didn’t need to see or speak to the landlady at all. Quiet place despite its location. Both bedroom and bathroom needed to be thoroughly cleaned and I am sorry but that wasn’t the case. Bed lining needs to be replaced, get a new one with no old stains. The room was very small, no spare space, so I would only recommend this place for short stay and if you have no other choice.
- Geoff (10/5): CONVINIENT - CENTRAL LOCATION NOTHING
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and facilities. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom.
- Kathryn (10/5): I would definitely recommend this accommodation and will at some point re-book it in the future. - The property is exactly as advertised and is directly opposite Liverpool Street Station. The pictures are a true representation of the room itself and the check in instructions, to assist with getting to and into the property, were comprehensive and helpful. The property itself is clean and has posters displayed throughout, with helpful information, to assist with the comfort of the stay.
- Ayibadoubara (7/5): It was a good experience. It met our expectations. - It just generally met my expectations for the price The fact that the door could still be opened from outside even when it’s locked from inside didn’t make me feel very safe.
- Jo (1/5): So awful I couldn’t stay! - The only good thing to mention is the location. Very central. It was awful - it was damp, freezing cold, it had a terrible smell, was very grungy, had a dilapidated feel and the bedding was made of hideous synthetic scratchy material that you wouldn’t want touching your skin. I couldn’t stay the night. It was that bad.
- Nigel (2/5): Very poor - no dont wish to say apart we left after i night and paid to stay somewhere else
- Thomas (7/5): It was worth it for the location and lesser price, but you do get what you pay for. - The location was great. The bathroom was very clean and so were the floors in the whole place Room was extremely small. Staff was still cleaning room long after our announced arrival time. Staff woke us up to give us our bath towels back from the bathroom to dry. Entry instructions failed to mention the elevator fob to get us to the apartment.
- Christopher (9/5): recommended... - fabulous location, very clean and quiet. it's also good value for money.
- Rajendra (1/5): Its very disappointing experience. - Location is good. It was complicated to find room. Elevator was not working. So i had to climb with luggage to second floor.
- Will (10/5): Far exceeded my expectations and next time I am in London I only hope there is a vacancy. - Great location for work and lots of places to eat and shop.
City of London is one of the most sought after places to find a good place to stay.
The Apartment and facilities were fantastic.
The host lives at the property and this makes the experience very welcoming.
Nothing was too much trouble for Lauren from getting tips on where to eat to tips on what to do that is not the usual predictable places to go and things to do.
Exceeded my expectations as this was not somewhere to crash but someone's home and so it made what was a work trip extra special. see above
I found nothing to complain about. You are in the heart of the city so traffic noise and the buzz could be a distraction if you want a quiet stay. Then again if thats what you want dont go to London!
- Chris (7/5): Good -
- Manjit (1/5): Bad - Nothing
- Gloria (10/5): Exceptional - The location was fantastic! Everything was just fine
- John (10/5): Ideal location close to rail station - Not included Lighting in room was hard with lights above TV but poor light above bed head
- Sergey (1/5): I have to find different place to stay after homeowner tell us leave her property - Location was fine Dirty bed sheets, room size mismatch (almost triple less than on listing), rood homeowner
- Frances (1/5): Grotty not gorgeous... - Location was good Very bad smell, scruffy and pretty disgusting.
Yes, this is a reasonably priced room but there is simply no excuse for having dirty fridge, dirty skirting boards, dirty threadbare carpets, a bathroom in need of a new bath etc. As we had finished what we wanted to do and there was a train going our way at Liverpool Street Station we decided not to stay and to go home.
- Phil (6/5): Great location/box room no window - Location Room size
- Albert (5/5): Great location and value. Small room; no A/C; 2 1/2 flights of stairs. Host sensitive to any noise. - Location, location, location. This room is located right next to Liverpool underground. Very central with underground and busses very frequently. It offers lots of storage (large closet with shelves). There is a washer/dryer (very small; about 4 hours to wash/dry). There is an electrical power strip (really a power "circle") with USB A power ports and convenient electrical outlets. There is allocated space in the refrigerator. The room door is solid with key. There is a nice window and fan that can blow cool air on you (stayed in June when days were hot and nights were cool). There is artwork on the walls. Very quiet with no street noise. Value is very good. We paid 1/3 of what a regular "modular" hotel room would have cost (CitizenM). Free WiFi. The room itself is very small, a bit dingy (marks on walls), and furniture is worn. It holds a double bed (very confusing because of the word "King" in the room description). There is very little room around the bed (about 6 inches between the bottom of the bed and wall). The elevator does not work and it's about 2 1/2 stories up - definitely a struggle to get bags up there. No air conditioning. The host uses CCTV to record the hallway which you must cross to use the shared bathroom and kitchen. The place is a three bedroom apartment (rooms: A, B, & C). The apartment host is in Bedroom A which has a glass / semi-opaque door that apparently lets in all the noise from the hallway. We were called out by the host for getting up early (6am) for a tour we booked (said we made too much noise - I don't see how we could have made much noise but perhaps they are light sleepers). Host denied holding bags for us when we showed up early; instead recommending we use a baggage service down the street that cost 7 pounds a bag - would have cost us 49 pounds (!). Host provides an extensive list of rules and warnings (some are helpful; some must have come from inconsiderate previous guests). Green stickers are posted throughout. Some helpful like explaining how to use the shower - others warnings. Host states they will be delisted from booking.com if the guest review is not a 9 or 10. Host threatens you with negative feedback if you don't leave a stellar review.
- Olajide (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbara (1/5): Don't make a huge mistake and book there. - Location is THE ONLY SINGLE GOOD THING. 15 sq.m. is a LIE. The room has a bed inside and some tiny space to walk in. MAX 4 sq.m.. and THERE IS NO WINDOW. The room was filthy and we went to sleep in a filthy bed. Around 11 p.m. the (nice) landlord arrived and explained "the cleaning lady had an accident". The room was extremely hot - again the answer was "it was one of the hottest days in Londons history" altough it was 20 degrees. No airconditioning, however - "we could open the door" (?!). Got a small propeller to survive.
I travel a lot and use Booking as well. I am just asking how we as users are protected against the kind of fraud we have experienced. Since the room was paid for and I had no power to get into a fight with Booking.com, we barely caught some sleep for the 3 days we stayed.
Unless you don't need to, don't go there.
- John (1/5): Not cleaned! - Location Room not cleaned. Dirty bed sheets. Used towels. Currly hairs in sink. Slow communications before and after checkin. Offered to refund. Then didn't.
- Bianca (10/5): Peaceful and cosy - It's a very sweet place and considering the location in the midst of the hustle and bustle, it was very quiet. Lauren provides excellent guidance on how to get in and out, and there are instructions dotted around all over the place. You wouldn't know anyone was there unless they were talking in the hallway and everyone respects your privacy. It's a great place for anyone travelling alone and looking for a peaceful space to decompress between outings.
- Amr (10/5): Exceptional -
- Destinée (1/5): I advise no one to come here, honestly. It's dirty, there's no window, it's a closet, and the host attacked - I advise no one to come here, honestly. It's dirty, there's no window, it's a closet, and the host attacked me.
I had to leave as quickly as possible, and she didn't want to refund me.
She hit me because I said the room was dirty. I advise no one to come here, honestly. It's dirty, there's no window, it's a closet, and the host attacked me.

- J (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lorraine (2/5): Very poor - Rather not , the whole place made me itch 😒
- Miriam (10/5): Exceptional - This is a bedroom in a shared apartment. You have access to the kitchen and bathroom.
Location is perfect, being right opposite Liverpool Street Train Station and bus stops.
Nice and quiet as room is at the back of the block further from the busy street.
Handy to everywhere and within walking distance of city centre sites.
Exceptionally well priced for Central London and adequate as a base.
- Ann (7/5): This was fine for our one night stay. It was a bedroom in a flat. Flat had kitchen facilities and shared bathroom. We st - Good price for a 1 night stay and close to Liverpool Street station. Bedroom was quite small and very cold.
- Santa (9/5): Superb -
- Ibrahim (5/5): Passable -
- Juraimi.j (8/5): Very good - Location is great as we are staying opp liverpool Street station london which is easy for me to go city center area.
- Ayman (8/5): Very good - All ok
- Bradley (10/5): Perfect for a cheap, super convenient location - You couldn’t get any closer to Liverpool Street station unless you wanted to sleep in Liverpool Street station. Got a little cold in the evening and I couldn’t see any radiator.
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (8/5): Great location / great communications - Location very convenient for the City. Comms excellent - both before and in the apartment Not 100% sure if bed linen was clean but for £80 I’m ok with that
- Thierry (7/5): Good -
- Jasmine (10/5): Stayed for one night as had a work trip, the following day we went around London and the location was just perfect. Used - Perfect location and although it’s shared I felt very safe as there are locks on the doors and a police station right by the apartment. Two bathrooms too, one small as you’d imagine but it was perfect for when the big bathroom was occupied. The shower was lovely and cosy and I had no issues there which was a relief. Instructions from host crystal clear. I absolutely loved the apartment and for the price I was extremely happy. TV worked perfect after downloading the remote app. Loads of extra toilet rolls and we were given a towel each. I must say I absolutely loved the use of space in bedroom B. The towel rack and the little desk that you can use for your makeup that folds up. It was so great! Not much to say, everything was great. The room was cold but absolutely fine once you get under the duvets. You could tell heating was on too so no complaints. Our bedroom was super clean and fresh.
- Sara (9/5): Okey stay - Location Cleaning
- David (9/5): Great for nights out - Location is brilliant. Great value for money. Easy process and lots of info in advance of my stay. Quiet as away from main road. Not much here for me to say. The bed was softer than my personal preference but that's more me than the room
- Louis (1/5): Bad - I have requested a refund as there was no key fob in the key safe No key
- Darren (9/5): Superb - So closed to Liverpool Street station
I was worried about the Instructions how to get in but they were fine , I got in easy
Bed , and the bathroom with shower next door all you need
We had a really good night sleep Couldn't get the telly to work but it was ok as we was given WiFi code so could watch things off my own personal Devices
- David (8/5): Covenient and a good central place to get around the City - very handy for the Station Doors banging after 11pm
- Ivan_enchev (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (7/5): good accommodation, unhygienic bathroom. - Easy access, quiet, good location, comfortable bedroom. Bath had large dirty mark up the side, bigger than my foot, and also on the bath tap, which looked like dirt on top of limescale, so I didnt feel able to use it. I sent a private message to the landlord who replied saying I was entitled and if I put the feedback on here they would write something rude about me so it would be available for anyone who googled. I do not think that is an appropriate response as all I was suggesting was that someone made an effort to clean the bath. The bedroom was fine.
- Stefan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hannah (9/5): Ideal for my purposes. - Ideal location, directly opposite Liverpool Street Station and a couple of minutes walk from Spitalfields market.
- Sami (3/5): Poor - Good location Weird smells, sheets badly cleaned
- Nick (8/5): Would use again if needed. - Location is great. Access was easy and communications with the host were clear. The property is as described and good value for the location. Sure there are things I would have preferred to be different but I don’t think you can expect them when paying the price the room costs.
- Elena (7/5): Perfect location for a low rate - The property is exactly in front of Liverpool street so we basically never took the underground and walked everywhere! The property has shared bathroom and kitchen, fairly well equipped.
There’s a tv in the bedroom and we were given 2 towels.
The keys are very easy to retrieve and the checkin was really smooth. The room is somewhat strange, it looks like a child room with teddy bears and stencils on the wall, not ideal for a couple trip. The bed was extremely uncomfortable unfortunately and there was a hole in the mattress.
When we entered the apartment there was a massive stench of wet towels, a little unpleasant.
The shower is ok but there is some mould here and there.
- Vladimir (9/5): Superb -
- Monique (6/5): Pleasant - The location. The size of the room.
- William (10/5): Exceptional -
- Georgia (10/5): Exceptional - It was very central and easy to access
- Alex (6/5): Pleasant -
- Trevor (3/5): Poor -
- Abbyy (8/5): Very good -
- Anna (8/5): A good place if you like to travel a lot around London by public transport. - The location was great. A lot of bus lines had their stops nearby. Large metro station and other trains 100 m from the apartment. Lots of bars, restaurants and cafes and a Tesco store all right next door. There was a police station next door. On the one hand, you may feel safer. Unfortunately, at night very often police cars drove with loud sirens.
- Blanka (5/5): Passable - Un calor insoportable
- Ruth (10/5): Great location, very easy and convenient. - Location
- Catharina (5/5): Passable - location there were more rooms for rent in the same appartment and we didn't know if they were occupied or not.
bathroom was nog very clean.
