• Gabi (10/5): Wir konnten uns gut entspannen und viele Strände besuchen, leider war oft Zuviel Wind, nur bis zum k - Die Lage ist ideal um mit den Bus zu verschiedenen Stränden zu kommen. Versorgung muss selbst organisiert werden. Küche mit allem vorhanden. Auch ein Pool zu Nutzung vorhanden. Man sollte Mückenspray mitbringen. Die sind im Aussenbereich aktiv überall. Man ist ja in der Natur.

• Jaap Bienefelt (8/5): - Perfecte ligging wanneer je zoals wij op doortocht waren. Dichtbij de autoverhuur. We hebben de host niet eens gezien maar het contact was fijn. We hebben er ook goed geslapen. Je rook het putje in de badkamer.

In the room we found ant , spiders net , mold in the walls. The bathroom was stinky and dirty. The "" pool "" it was dirty, full of tree leaves, And the tiles full of mold. • Karolien (10/5): Perfect place to stay - Super friendly host who also lives in the house, sharing kitchen with the three rooms in rental. Interesting architecture and position of the building bringing in lots of daylight and giving a sense of peace. Authentic materials and large communal inside and outside spaces. The room was spotless and the mattress very comfortable! All good 😊

• Baodi (6/5): Ok if you want an affordable place to sleep - Decent space and clean room. Location is far from the hotel area but bus is in walking distance. For certain essential things like hair dryer and iron etc., which are available in every single hotel, the host took them as unnecessary. I reminded the host to make them available as they are basic to me. The host promised that but never provided until the end of my 6-day stay.

• Maddie (10/5): Very comfortable stay in luxury accommodation - Very kind host and beautiful house. Everything was clean and high quality. The host easily accommodated my late check-in. The shower has hot water, the bedrooms have fans and aircon and the kitchen is well-stocked with spices and cooking implements. The swimming pool is very refreshing and there is lovely outside space with loungers and chairs. Easy to get to from ADO bus station using uber (<€3 for a 7 min drive).

• Ariel (9/5): Quiet, Great Host, Highly Recommended. - I decided to stay at Casa Hikuri because of all the great reviews that I read about it, and they turned out to be accurate, I felt like I was at home, and Paulina, the host, is a welcoming, interesting and authentic soul. I enjoyed my stay so much that I came back for a longer stay. I stayed in two different rooms and I loved the smaller one for the ventilation and the nice Feng Shui. The AC also worked great and so did the fan (both were necessary as it was sweltering hot on most days. Also there is a pool which was refreshing and welcome. The kitchen had everything I needed and free drinking water was also provided. It is located within walking distance to restaurants and a large shopping center and supermarket. Although it's in a busy area, inside the house and the pool area was peaceful and quiet! The hot water in the shower sometimes got a bit warm and sometimes did not stay warm for long. But honestly the climate was so hot that this was not a problem. The shared house other than the bedroom got pretty hot and uncomfortable, but the room was so comfortable that I did not mind. Everything else was minor and not worth mentioning. Overall this place was a gem.

Multiple locking doors made me feel secure, and the area seemed safe. There are plenty of really nice restaurants, cafes, shops, and bars within walking distance. The beach is a straightforward and cheap bus ride away. No problems I can think of.

• Romi_c (10/5): Best value for money! - I arrive to Cancun for work and this was the perfect place to rest at night, it is located in a quiet neighborhood and the room was spacious. The house is also close to Plaza Las Americas, a shopping mall with different types of stores. The host Paulina was very helpful and nice. Definitively will stay there again if I come back to Cancun! Be aware that the property has three rooms and two of them share the same bathroom.

The host, Paulina (hoping I’m spelling this right) was absolutely amazing and attended to all our needs. You will be staying at a gorgeous house a short distance walk from main amenities and equipped with everything needed (also extremely clean). A big thank you to the host for their warm welcome to Mexico, if I had to choose a place to stay in Cancún I wouldn’t hesitate a minute.

It is far from the beaches (you need to take the bus!), is not so close to the center either but in walking distance.

Great facilities - big kitchen with fridge space, free water and coffee, amazing pool, and lovely chill spaces throughout the house. The location was great - it felt really safe day and night, and lots of things are within walking distance. Cannot recommend highly enough. Honestly, nothing. Everything was awesome.

There's also a little swimming pool in the house. Highly recommended if you are looking for an alternative to big hotels, for something with a Mexical soul. We would stay at Casa Hikuri again with great pleasure.

The rooms are big, clean, and full of light, the swimming pool in the yard helps a lot in the afternoon. There is everything necessary in the kitchen. Paulina, the host, was very nice and helpful. Nice location, as the bus to the beaches stops in 300 m walking distance from the house, and there are many nice cafe and restaurants nearby. Very safe place. We recommend.

The place is within walking distance to many cafes and restaurants, and is allocated close to the downtown and to the beaches. Perfection doesn't have limits, but casa Hikuri met all our expectations!

There are plenty of restaurants and cafes close by, and the ADO bus station is a 15 minute walk away. Shared bathroom.
