Ashok (10/5): A Home away from Home - Centrally located close to Taj Mahal . Spacious room with balcony facing to garden . It happened to be great fastival Holi . We enjoyed seeing people playing Holi from our balcony. Mrs Aradhna made special food & sweets for Holi . Best Alu parathas with yogart & Aradhna Thali ( 3 vegetables, Dal , raita , rice pullao. Above all we enjoyed Gujias & Balu shai very much . Complimentary filter coffee . Great experience. I would love to stay here whenever I happen to visit Agra . Value for money. A big thank you to Aradhana’s Homestay for great hospitality & to Booking . Com Rest ever was too good .

Sandip (6/5): We had a comfortable sleep here, and was is a great location- Just feel as though it fell short! - The rooms were clean and the hosts were inviting and helpful with attractions and services. The location was great close to the Taj Mahal in a quiet street, Nice comfortable bed! 1) The rooms were quite small, me and my wife were climbing over our luggage to walk about the room 2) The showers hot water did not last long but are thankful for hot water regardless 3) We paid for x2 rooms with a terrace but we only received 1 room with a terrace. 4) Asked to check in late as flights/driving etc is impossible to be exact to match their check in time. (Got told there is a 1000 rup Fee to change) 5) Was missing the Indian hospitality that we would expect. If I welcomed anybody in my home I would gladly offer tea or coffee or water ( unfortunately You have to pay for EVERYTHING including water, coffee or tea. We even said we would supply our own coffee and sugar, all we needed was boiling water- we were declined this requests. which we thought was extremely odd and slightly greedy. 6) 600 Rup dinner- for a home made thali is extremely expensive when you can go to a nice restaurant and pay much less than this. 7) We paid for our rooms until 11.00am checkout time- however as we were leaving for a sunrise tour at 5.30am they wanted our keys before we left so they could get a head start in cleaning for other guests. We thought this was wrong and unprofessional as we may have wanted to come back after the tour for a rest. (regardless of any reason we paid until the checkout time) 8) They only accept cash which really exhausted our cash for the trip, we paid 13,150 rup for our stay in cash which we then had to go and get more cash which is a big inconvenience. I do wonder why they would not accept bank transfer or credit card as it is a large amount of money to just pay by cash and i wonder if they are avoiding tax implications of doing business - but that is not for me to say 9) In the end we are sharing a property with the owners so you cannot expect full freedom. (no eating in room, need to inform them of times leaving and returning etc) It was a pleasant stay where we could go and have a good sleep
