• Marilia (9/5): Excelente estadia - A localização é perfeita e de facil acesso a todos os pontos importantes da cidade. Alem de ser um bairro extremamente charmoso e silencioso. A descrição e fotos do local são bem de acordo com a realidade. Cama confortavel, comodos limpos e grande hospitalidade do dono da casa, Rob me recebeu super bem e foi adoravel.

I liked how central it is, it was nice to have the apartment as a base after exploring all day. It was hard to move around in the room with the bed taking up so much floor space

• Gülay (9/5): Der Vermieter wohnt in der Wohnung aber sehr freundlich trotzdem stand bei Booking.com nichts drin! - Die Lage war richtig gut! Innerhalb paar Minuten mitten in geschehen fast alles zu Fuß machbar Das Bett im Zimmer könnte kleiner sein damit man sich im Zimmer auch bewegen könnte!

• Jonathan (10/5): - Rob is a wonderful guy. Location is perfect, central but quiet. You can use the fridge. The coffee is good and there is tea available too. Everything is very clean. You can go into the living room and enjoy the view over the canals while sipping coffee. Not too much space in the room but so long as you don't have many suitcases you'll be just fine.

• Andres (8/5): Great location - The location is perfect for going to the highlights of Amsterdam. Jordaan is a great place to be as well. The bed is quite big for the room, thus it makes it a little difficult to arrange things and clothes over the room.

The location is the best in the city, close to everything, and the room is very comfortable and has the added bonus of an exclusive balcony. I will definitely come back whenever I go to Amsterdam. In addition to a good place to stay, I also gained a good friend. Thanks Rob! Was everything excellent

Rob was an excellent host and we had some truly enjoyable and enlightening conversations. The double bed took up most of the space in the room but, this wasn’t an inconvenience. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Nothing, everything to my satisfaction.

• Paulo (9/5): Great host, great location - As many said in other comments, I felt I was a guest at a friend’s house. Rob was an excellent host who made me comfortable straight away. I had some interesting conversations with him. He was also very helpful even before my staying had started, giving me very good indications on how to get to the flat. He then gave me lots of tips on places to visiting nearby (printed out). The location is great. About 15 minutes walk from the busy centre. The house is quiet and the bed is comfortable, so I had good nights sleeps during my staying. Nothing to note.

• Manuela (8/5): Very welcoming, everything fine for a perfect time. - Rob is a really nice and welcoming person. He is opend minded to chit chat and he can advice with tips in Amsterdam. Also provided me a ticket for public transportation. The apartment is directly in the center, you can walk easy to wherever you want to go, such as museums, shopping, city center, restaurants... This is not to be meant negative, Just be informed your room is small, so perfect for traveling with little luggage and shorter stays.

The bathroom was very spacious and had a great shower and tub. nice to also have a patio access in the room. Room was a bit small, although it has a large bed..but if you don’t plan on staying there for a majority of your day it will be just fine.

The house has a balcony with a view of the canal which is just amazing. nothing to say here. As stated in the ad, the room has little space if you are travelling with big luggage. It was not a problem for me.

By that you support locals and Rob can you provide with more tips on that. It’s a lovely apartment at a canal, and the bed in the room was suuuper comfy. This place is also good for a longer stay, as it is an apartment where Rob lives, so it’s well equipped. Would go back anytime.

• Glenn (1/5): Well below the standard expected of tourist accommodation of any kind, anywehre in the world. - We did not stay because it was not as advertised, The inflexibility of the host and booking.com to facilitate any sort of refund is apalling customer relations. This was a really bad and expensive experience. The facilities were not as advertised. They are in shared facilities in a house, with no privacy. They were utterly unsuitable. WE are also deeply disappionted in booking.com's inability to faciltate any kind of quid pro quo in settlement.
