- Matthew (10/5): Absolutely fabulous. Great apartment, great location, all around an amazing stay. -
- Deniz (10/5): One of the calmest and most memorable stays I’ve had in Amsterdam. - The house is beautiful and extremely functional. Waking up to the sound of birds in the morning, watching the swans, and sitting quietly on the balcony on slightly misty evenings makes you feel like you’re inside a European film. Truly therapeutic.
Tamara and her husband are incredibly helpful with everything and very kind hosts.
The IJburg area is exceptionally quiet and far from the damaging side of mass tourism. It’s a place where you can really disconnect and listen to yourself—ultra peaceful. There is a market nearby, and the area has genuinely excellent Italian and Japanese restaurants. Ordering food is also easy if you prefer staying in.
Overall, after many visits to Amsterdam over the years, this might be the most peaceful and atmospheric place I have ever stayed. Thank you. The kitchen does not have a stove or cooktop and is equipped only with a microwave, so preparing full meals is somewhat limited
- Elodie (10/5): Logement parfait.
- eli (10/5): - Amazing location if you want to stay outside of the city center.
Great waterfront balcony to have a coffee.
I will be sure to come again.
- STEPHEN (10/5): Very comfortable accommodation not far from city centre - Comfortable, had everything you needed, great balcony, hosts were available if needed and were very helpful - location was also good with easy connection to city centre. N/A

- Gordon (10/5): Fabulous waterfront apartment! - Loved the location, right on the water. Only a quick tram ride to the centre. Very comfortable room and bed. Great Wi-Fi. The shower in the room was kind of weird but it was nice and hot and great pressure. It was convenient having a microwave, kettle and fridge, and the Nespresso machine was a real treat. Would definitely stay again 🇨🇦

Uns fehlte an nichts!
- Jessica (10/5): We loved our stay 🩷 and we will definitely come back! -
- Patrick (10/5): -
- Jeremy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yuan (10/5): A fun adventure in a waterfront stay - The hosts were very kind and friendly, they offered to help us if we need anything from them. The canoe opportunity is quite fun down the river.
- Ivan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Talent (10/5): Relaxed, great getaway. Could live here forever! - I enjoyed the amazing facility and the our warm host. It was such an amazing experience. The rain. It’s everywhere 😅
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional - Great apartment located on the canal, so much fun to sit on the balcony and drink coffee in the morning. So pastoral and peaceful.
Tram that comes every few minutes right next to the apartment.
Nice and helpful owner.
- Kerri (10/5): From the incredible hospitality, efficient and readily accessible communication, felt extremely safe, taken care of and - The location! As well as how quiet and safe it was N/A
- Rita (10/5): Amazing, again! - It was my second time in the house. It's lovely!
- Lynn (10/5): Canalside tranquility - We love the peace and quiet..the cleanliness..the homely feel.. the neighbourhood.. the convience of 12 minutes on a tram to central station.. most of all the decking along the water and the lovely hosts. We cannot wait to come back again and again. Nothing to dislike
- Elizabeth (10/5): Cosy stay close to Amsterdam centre. - Everything! Perfect base for our stay in Amsterdam. Shops and restaurants close by, easy to get there on the tram and felt at home. Bonus of a canoe trip around the canal! Nothing.
- Tumelo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (10/5): Amazing appartment - Absolutely loved the water studio the balcony is impeccable.. food shops close by and all facilities was there to use.. fridge kettle microwave etc... the owners are lovely people who are available to help.. even bringing a takeaway we ordered late to upstairs address down to us at a not so reasonable time would definitely stay again The location was a little out.. 15 min on train to central but still great as a base you can explore from then leave the hussle n bustle and go back and relax
- Kennedy (9/5): A little luxury - The Water Studio was excellent value for money and we really enjoyed our sray here. Clean, well laid out, very comfortable and large enough for my husband to do a bit of remote working whilst I watched tv and enjoyed the view of the canal. We also really appreciated the private covered outdoor space. The tram stop into Centraal is very near, as is the local supermarket for yummy breakfast pastries. We also took a quick walk to look at the incredibly quirky SluisHuis! The location is in a quiet neighbourhood outside of the central area but the transport links are excellent for enjoying the city and the Water Studio feels like a luxury stay that would not be affordable in town.
- Petra (10/5): Exceptional - The accommodation is located in a quiet neighborhood. Access to the centre is easy, it takes about 20 minutes by tram. The studio is spacious and very nice. The owners are very friendly.
- Chethan (9/5): Superb -
- Lisa (8/5): Very good -
- Joyce (10/5): Exceptional - Everything!!! Such a comfortable apartment & hosts were wonderful. Great location & easy to get to Amsterdam City & airport. After travelling flat out for 5 weeks, we were so comfortable that on days it was hard to leave the comfort of the apartment to explore! Nothing - everything great!
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bastian (10/5): Exceptional - You should ask what I didn't like! Because that's far easier to name, it's nothing.
We got provided everything you could dream about, a canoe for driving through the channels just in front of your terrace, bicycles to drive around town, my girlfriend even forgot her heat protection for her hair before drying it. I didn't even know what that is, but ot was there.
- Kornelija (10/5): Will definitely be visiting again! - The studio was set up with everything you might need, the hosts provided a booklet full of information about the area, local restaurants etc. The terrace on the water was lovely, and even with a thunderstorm during our stay, we enjoyed spending time sitting outside. There's a selection of products to use such as hair styling products, shampoo, moisturiser. The shower controls were a bit temperamental, and the location was definitely a bit away from the main city, the only way to get onto IJburg is with a tram from Centraal, but that's only a 15 min ride and they come quite frequently so it was easy enough to get around via the public transport services.
- Luke (10/5): Relaxing. - Loved the outdoor seating area. Nothing of note.
- Teri (10/5): Dream come true. - Wonderful location and very helpful, caring hosts.
- Sara (10/5): We loved staying at the Water studio -
- Rita (10/5): Exceptional - The studio is just amazingly beautiful, full of details to get you comfortable. It has everything you need. All was perfect.
- Nigel (10/5): Wonderful little studio apartment just outside the city. - This location was excellent! It was a bit out of the way from the city center, but it was quiet and in a beautiful setting, and the nearby stores/farmers market had everything we could need. The owner was very gracious and was able to give us pointers on visiting the city, even warning us of the last train scheduled to get there from Centraal without our needing to ask. There were even bikes and a canoe which we could use (if it hadn't been quite so cold). Not much. It was a bit disappointing that we needed to get on the last train by 12:30am since we couldn't really afford other transport and we would have wanted to stay out a bit later if we had the time, but that isn't the fault of the apartment, and it was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle.
- Prashanth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lozza (10/5): Exceptional - The property was super easy to get to from Centraal via the tram, with supermarkets and food places nearby. The apartment was super cosy, with a beautiful canal view and several ducks to be friends with. We were warmly welcomed by Kirsten who was so friendly and gave us a tour of the private entrance and apartment. We are hoping to come back to Amsterdam and will definitely book this property again if available.
- Lynnette (9/5): Superb - Great cosy apartment close to the tram, awesome shower and comfy bed
- Norchet (9/5): Relaxing and convenient stay in Amsterdam. - It is very easy to go downtown Amsterdam from the property. You can pay on the tram with debit card. You have to hop on the second wagon from last. Then at central station you can purchase tickets that will suit your travelling needs for your stay. Grocery store is 2 blocks away with good selection. We worked out the dinner table by bringing in the patio table. That worked for us.
- Mohsen (10/5): Exceptional - Top view near a canal, very clean, big, Top facilities, Tram and Supermarkt nearby, perfect Parking place, very quiet ... Hand washing Sink in WC is mini size, but not important.
Also a stove in the kitchen could be very useful (even a small one).
- Oleksii (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jackie (10/5): 10/10 and would stay again - I loved everything. My only negative point is something that cannot be helped but as you are walking in you have to dodge a lot of spider webs.
- Jeremy (10/5): Came for a short visit away and to visit Amsterdam. Studio was perfect in location with grocery stores and tram to Centr - Location. A haven of peace just outside a busy city. Grocery stores just around the block. Private parking. Friendly hosts. Nothing to remark.
- Margriet (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- B (10/5): absolutely fantastic - everything !
- Shubhangi (10/5): Exceptional - Tamara was an excellent host. Apart from maintaining the apartment beautifully with all the amenities I loved the fact how all the information about the city, travel, food, we can explore was put together. Location too was closer to supermarkets and tram.
- Foo (10/5): Provided a peaceful night and good rest. - Peace & quiet neighbourhood but location is a bit far from city centre. Toilet is outside of the room a little inconvenience especially in the middle of the night.
- John (8/5): Good value and well appointed - Good facilities. Nice welcome. Good information
- Schischlik (10/5): Exceptional - there was everything you could possibly need and the view from the patio was beautiful. all in all we had a great stay and would come here again :)
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Losmitchos (10/5): Exceptional - Cozy, lovely studio, nothing you could miss, for a time out or so...
- Fern (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abby (10/5): Honeymoon - The shower and balcony are amazing...overall though it's great
- Fiori (10/5): Love on the canal - We enjoyed the privacy, the beautiful terrace on the canal with a wonderful view and the kindness of the host. Nothing! the apartment is not in the center but you can reach it in 10 minutes by tram.
- Sherif (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kristína (10/5): Exceptional - A wonderful cozy apartment in a quiet and safe area. The view from the balcony is amazing. The apartment is located about a 3 minute walk to the nearest tram station and a supermarket. The tram takes you directly to the city center and goes very frequently. The IJBurg area is very interesting and calm, if you do not want to spend too much time in the busy city center, I can only recommend this place. The hosts, Kirsten and Tamara are very helpful and friendly, they made sure that the Water Studio has everything you might need for personal hygiene and for your coffee and tea needs. There are even two bikes and a canoe you can borrow.
Overall it was a very nice getaway.
- Yerin (10/5): perfect studio - amazing studio perfect view and comfortable room :) there’s market and tram station near here. highly recommend this place! spider web should be removed outside of the place
- Maria (10/5): Had a lovely stay would definitely stay here again the room was lovely and comfortable - I’d liked how close The transport into central was and it had its own little neighborhood filled with shops & places to eat
- Lemole (10/5): Romantic and peaceful place to stay - This apartment is better than expected, and we highly recommend it. Kristen was brilliant in providing information and guidance about the city. The apartment has everything you need for a short stay, and you can also use the kayak or swim in the lake—only 15 min from the city, giving you a relaxing place to stay after a busy day.
We would love to come again, and it was worth every penny. There is nothing we didn't like. It was perfect
- Joseph (10/5): Fantastic stay, enjoy it! Great host too - This place was in a fantastic location. Kirsten is a very friendly and helpful host, we had really good chat! Tamara responded the message instantly, which is very nice.
With the living room sliding open onto a terrace, which gave access to a pontoon on a wide canal, which I dive into for a little swim and cool off from the summer sun. We also used a canoe that the owner kindly offered the use of. The place is very secure with fob entering the lower ground parking as well as entering the studio. Went for a long waterside stroll. Saw some fantastic waterfront domestic homes architecture, and it seems like a very nice diverse community. It took us about half an hour to ride our bikes into Amsterdam proper. The place is clean and very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this place for a short stay. The way to the car park has slop and ramp you will have to pay attention if your car has low chassis. It's not big deal for us.
We like everything, wish we can stay longer
- Zoie (10/5): Exceptional - we ADORE the water studio. This was our second time and trust me when i tell you there will be a 3rd and 4th and so on. this is our favourite place to stay and favourite city to visit so it all works out :) Tamara is the nicest woman you would ever meet. she is so friendly and just wants you to have a good time!! as does her whole family <3 we already miss it, this morning was hard to wake up and realise we still are not there but we had the best 7 days and all thanks to Tamara and her family and the beautiful city of Amsterdam. it was so lovely to wake up and sit on the terrace on the sun. to see the ducks floating pass, other people, boats. We cannot wait to come back. Once we find the right time we will be back over. It’s just the best ever. I’m so sad we are not there right now but we will be back:) thank you for the amazing time Tamara, Kirsten and Rouza!! Talk soon. absolutely nothing, there is NOTHING to not like. It’s all just fabulous
