• Houda (10/5): A wonderful & peaceful stay with exceptional hosts in the Hollywood Hills - I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa in the Hollywood Hills. The pool and jacuzzi were fantastic, and everything was impeccably clean. The bedding was extremely comfortable, and the house is very calm, quiet, and relaxing - perfect for resting and enjoying the space. Most of all, the hosts are a lovely couple who provide exceptional hospitality and truly make the experience special. They are incredibly kind and welcoming, and made me feel completely at home. I would definitely come back without hesitation and highly recommend staying here. Everything’s perfect.

• Lizeth (6/5): - I really liked that the house was in a nice, safe neighborhood, and it was great having parking right in front. I also enjoyed the pool with my son. Some things could definitely be improved. The floors and carpets didn’t seem very clean, and the biggest issue for me was that the toilet had small brown stains and didn’t appear properly cleaned. There were also quite a few ants in the bathroom, and I even saw a couple on the bed. At night, the main light in the living room stayed on, which normally wouldn’t be a big deal, but our bedroom had a large window with blinds that let some light through. Since I have a toddler, this made it harder for him to fall asleep because the room wasn’t dark enough.

• Sky (10/5): - This was an excellent stay. Sheri, Nassar and their son are very sweet and treated me like family. Their house is lovely. I stayed in the room with a private bath which was very comfortable. The neighborhood is very nice, you do need a car to go to cafes, stores, restaurants etc.

La chambre pour moi et mes deux ados etait très grande et très confortable avec en prime une super terrasse. Beaucoup de facilité à utiliser la cuisine. La piscine et son jacuzzi même fin octobre on été énormément appréciés. C’est vraiment joli. Pour nous en ayant une voiture la position a été parfaite, car non seulement on profite de la vue sur LA du haut mais on est à 15/30 minutes de touts les points d’intérêt. Je conseille fortement Rien en particulier. La maison n’est pas neuve mais nous avons adoré ce voyage dans le temps.

Amazing value for the price. - The hosts were extremely accommodating and so welcoming, this property was in a beautiful area located close to the places we wanted to visit. Pool and deck area were nice as well, great views from one of the highest streets on Mount Olympus! Hosts offered us coffee and tea every morning and offered to share the food they had cooked. We stayed in the 2 bed room and it was perfect for 2 people but would have been comfortable with 3 or 4 although maybe a little tight with 4. Very satisfied overall with the property, hosts, and experience.

• Marc (7/5): Authentic LA stay - We chose the room because of the price, the location and the pool. Namely, the location is great for exploring west Hollywood. In addition, the stay offers free and safe parking in front of the house. We had all the amenities we needed, and our room was nicely prepared for our stay. It felt good to be staying with a family, and knowing that our money goes directly to them. Everything was fine.

Big bedroom with private bathroom and a nice balcony. It was never mentioned that you are basically staying in a house with the hosts. This means that you don't really have all the amenities available that are mentioned on the website. The room was dusty and not properly cleaned, and the house had a strong smell everywhere. Unfortunately, also the bed was very uncomfortable

• Michael (8/5): Schöne Unterkunft mit kleinen Schönheitsmängeln - Die Lage in den Hollywood Hills und das Haus (die Villa sollte man sagen) waren super. Sehr toll. Unser Zimmer war auch sehr gut. Mit eigenem Bad. Der Pool und der dazugehörige Blick sind - wie von den Bildern zu erwarten - spektakulär, wie auch der Eingangsbereich des Hauses. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Es hätte an einigen Stellen (Kühlschrank - war ziemlich dreckig, Küche, Bad - tw. mit Schimmelflecken) durchaus sauberer sein können. Man teilt sich das Haus mit den Hosts - einem netten älteren Ehepaar - (z.B. Die Küche), was teilweise etwas skuril ist, da er im Atrium hinter einem Raumteiler schläft und man auf dem Weg ins Zimmer daran vorbeigeht. Sie schläft im Wohnzimmer neben der Küche. Wenn einen das nicht stört, ist die Unterkunft durchaus eine Empfehlung.

In contrary to others, the host only took us to the room. We wasn’t offered to use the swimming pool neither kitchen. The bathroom light was broken as well as the balcony door. We didn’t feel very comfortable.

Überall lagen schwarze Haare, Sand, Dreck & Staub und wenige Ameisen verirrten sich in das Zimmer. Das zweite Einzelbett muss zwingend ausgewechselt werden. Bei jeder Bewegung quietscht es und macht Lärm. War sehr strörend.

• Carl (10/5): A little bit of luxury to start and end our stay - Stunning property in a lovely and safe location with easy parking. The pool area is amazing and the room was comfortable with a private bathroom.
• Steve (2/5): Addams Family House. Creepy. Dark. Hot - The property is close to West Hollywood. The pool is nice. Upon entering, the only thing I could think was, “Addams Family”. All the furniture was covered with plastic. The air was at 85 degrees upon entry. With the owner, I took apart/replaced the AC batteries. The back shutter door was broken letting hot air in from the balcony. Strangely, there is a huge window in the bedroom with blinds covering that faces….the living room, where the family is. Spiderwebs, dirty, etc. this place should not be for public consumption. What you see in the pics doesn’t explain the actual conditions with this old couple. There was a funky smell permeating the house. I think they were making beans. Very uncomfortable. The worst part was that at 1045pm the old man/husband UNLOCKED our bedroom/room door unannounced and poked his head in while my kids and I were asleep right there. He asked if I could turn up the AC, it was too cold. What???!?! I had it set to 73 degrees. Not exactly cold. I told him to leave first off, and no I’m not turning it up. Are you kidding me? The thermostat for the whole upstairs is in our room???? This was one creepy place and I think Booking.com should re-think having a place like this on the docket. There were other things about it but what’s the point in telling more?

What more could you want for a short stay? Also, they fired up the jacuzzi for us, which was nice and very appreciated. Overall pretty good. It’s a bit dated, but who cares. I slept there twice and was out for the entire time. That said, there is a loud annoying beeping from the alarm system that could be addressed.

As a result, I had to find another place to stay very last minute. The host did refund me the room rate although, having said they would cover the difference for the hotel I had to stay in, did not pay me back for the additional expense. Would avoid this place at all costs.

Absolutely loved my stay here, Nasser and Sherrie were the most caring hosts I’ve ever had the privilege of staying with. The rooms are spacious, the house is immaculate and pool/outdoor area is definitely a huge draw card. I actually extended my stay there because it was so great. As a solo traveller who was very apprehensive to stay in LA for the first time, this was an extremely secure and safe option. Could not recommend highly enough.

Would stay there again. - Nasa, the homeowner was lovely and accommodating especially since my plane was delayed so I arrived at 10pm, he was there to greet me. Nasa made sure I knew where things were and told me it was my home so I was welcome to use it as my home, the pool included. The seems to keep to themselves but the house is huge, so I felt very comfortable there. The bed was super comfy but the covering was very thin, so I was cold the first night, so I just put on my socks and long pants and jacket then I was warm enough. The house is far up in the mountain which was particularly beautiful. I would stay there again, and I recommend it. Such a treat to be able to stay in a home in the Hollywood Hills. A warmer covering for the bed. All the furniture is covered in plastic, it's fine because I only used my room, it just makes it feel not very homey. But it's still beautiful and very grand which you can see on the photos. And the chandeliers are stunning! But Nasa made me feel at home.

There's multiple rooms for guests to stay in so I had people to chat with and made some friends. Pool and hot tub, pool area is great for socializing. Very quiet, safe and high end location, perfectly located so it's not too long of a drive to most locations you might want to visit. (you must have a car or use a taxi as there is no public transport nearby) Bed was really comfortable and soft, slept really well. High quality amenities, I had brand name pillowcases, brand name towels and good shampoo. I had a bathroom assigned to me, which I shared just with another room, so I never had to wait for it. Free and plentiful parking on the street, area is safe and I've seen security cars around. Access to a fridge, washing machine. You can experience the Hollywood hills life, something that you can't do in a hotel. Stayed 5 nights and I hope to return again in the future

They always asked if they could help with anything or offered coffee/tea. Bathroom and room were clean. Patio was the greatest experience. Good for a calm vacation. Nothing to do about it but i think the stairs are wood and a little bit cracky.

• Homero (1/5): Bad - The only thing I liked was the pool As soon as we got in the room it was hot ,I check the thermostat in the room and it was set at 72 but the room temperature was 88 , I told the guy and he say he will have someone taking care of the ac the next day , we came back from universal studios around 8pm and he didn't fix anything, it was hot again ,all the afternoon the sun hit that side of the house , all he say was just open the sliding door and it will be okay , the room didn't look to clean, it was hair in the tub, only one light bulb in bathroom was working from 6, floor in the room look dirty

The pool was great to use. It was a cool temperature, which was perfect on the hot days we were there. The bathroom seemed like it wasn’t cleaned between guests as there was hair around the sink and in the bathtub.

The bedding was clean, it wasn't given a deep dusting, there was dust on the side table and skirting boards and it smelled like male body odor quite strongly. It was a shared bathroom that wasn't attended to daily either.
