Guest Reviews
- Aleksandra (9/5): Altamente raccomandato - Gestito da persone disponibili e accoglienti.
Buona colazione
Appartamento ben arredato e rifinito.
- Prashant (6/5): - Near to all historical places 😊 The place is nice, but the road to reach it passes through a somewhat cheap locality. I feel the owner should take a bit more care in properly looking after the guests—that felt a little lacking. Otherwise, it was fine...😊
- Galdric (10/5): 5 noches - El mejor alojamiento en el que nos hemos alojado en la India;

- Moynuddin (9/5): - the host was very attentive and the property had everything we needed Wifi was not there when were staying but this i think will get updated because it was not their mistake
- Bill (8/5): All Good - Hosts were good, breakfast was good, neighbourhood was nice away from the Main Street noise (gated community),
- Carina (10/5): -
- Ashish (10/5): Comfortable experience. - I absolutely loved my stay at Tuk Tuk Homestay! The place has such a warm and homely vibe — it honestly felt more like staying at a friend’s place than a regular BnB. The host and caretakers were super friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed.
- suraj (8/5): Good experience - Cleaness, and owner were good and cooperative. AC dont seems to work well. Other wise it’s good.
- Lucy (10/5): Exceptional - Really lovely location, quiet and overlooking a park. The host is welcoming and cooks delicious food. We really enjoyed our stay here. A little haven in Agra!
- Sayantan (10/5): Exceptional - Okay.. so, this is going to be a long review, but that is too less to do justice to the experience that i received from this homestay. Here's to one of the coziest and budget friendly homestay with the amazing tasty food.
We were back from our wedding and was really eager to visit The Taj for a day trip just like mini-moon. As usual, being really confused about where to get a relaxing place without worry about getting scamed. So, did some research and booked the Tuk Tuk homestay. Through it was looking promising on bookings.com, but we know this can be deceiving. Any way, cut to short. We booked for 2 nights. And now imagine this.. we reached the agra station around 10 pm on 13th February and booked an auto for just 15 mins ride. And curiously, i started asking about the place.. and MAN!!! What i heard from him.. can be concluded in this.. the locality is third class and he can show us a far better decent place. But.. THANK GOD! WE TRUSTED OUR GUT FEELINGS. and go ahead to the homestay. THE MOMENT WE STEPPED IN, IT LITERALLY FELT LIKE HOME. AND ONE OF THE MOST UNDERRATED HOMESTAY YOU WILL EVER FIND.
The homestay is in a gated society and You can locate it by the water tank just like the one from 'Panchayat'😜.
From Aunty's great food and conversation to the cozy and quiet room to the Taj view from roof, it was more than perfect.
They say, if your stay can tell, how your trip is going to be. And it was worth it with every penny.
PS. Breakfast is free but, you can book lunch & dinner.
The host has a long tour guide experience, so they know how to make one feel at home.
Mrs. Kumar also, used to have a restaurant, so yummiest food you can always expect.
The homestay has great view from both the second floor rooms and third floor room.
Our Agra trip went smooth because of them.. ❤️🥹
Wifi is available. I didn't like how underated this property is. 🥹
- Paolo (8/5): Good homestay - The room was fine and comfortable, with a smart TV, a wide bathroom with hot water at any time. Just outside the room there was a kitchen that could be used freely. We had dinner from the landlady and it was good. The breakfast could be either Indian or european (conflakes, bread with jam or honey...), and good. Everything was fine
- Evgenii (10/5): Exceptional - It's an amazing place! Better than any hotel! What could be better than to get acquainted with the local way of life. The hostess is wonderful, and the cooking is aerobatic! Everything is homemade and very tasty. Thank you so much for your hospitality! I will be in Agra once more - just to see you! 1000 out of 10! Quiet, calm, cozy!
- Katia (8/5): Nice even if short, - We liked the fact that the BB is in a really safe place; in a special neighbour where you can enter and feel really safe. The woman doesn't speak so much englihs but she is so much nice and she cooks for you if you need it. We did not like the distance from the center ; the clealiness of the bathroom was not super ok but for India you get used to it.
- Ketil (10/5): Charming homestay with good vegetarian food - Comfortable and charming homestay in an area with mostly locals. Friendly owner that serve both nice breakfast and dinner. It is of course not the Ritz Carlton hotel, but at the prize amazing value
- Christopher (7/5): Good - Great space with extra room in front of the bedrooms plus a lovely balcony to sit out on overlooking the park
- Léa (9/5): Great stay in Agra - Great hosts very welcoming and helpful
Nice and clean room
Very nice meals The location is a bit far of the points of interest
- Tereza (8/5): We felt really good at TukTuk homestay - We had a very nice stay at TukTuk homestay. It is in a clean and quiet neighborhood, the owners were so nice and helpful. Both breakfast and dinners were delicious! If you are going to Agra and you want something not in the noisy center I would deffinitely reccommend you staying at TukTuk homestay.
- Carolin (9/5): A homestay as it should be - The location is good and very quiet in a small residential area with a small park/playground right outside the door.
It is a 15 min walk to the metro station or some restaurants. By tuktuk it is 15-20 min to the Taj Mahal.
We ate at the homestay almost every evening. The food was very tasty and always varied and at a super fair price.
The owners were very friendly and always helped us whenever they could. We had great conversations and learned a lot.
The room was not the biggest but ok. No window, but also Ok for us because we found the terrace more inviting and spend our time there. There was hot water at all times and the internet was also working very good.
We stayed for 10 days instead of the planned 3. My partner fell ill and the owners cared about us a lot. Even when we had to go to the doctor, it was no problem at all. The only thing we found a little expensive compared to the food and the costs in India was the laundry service.
But on the other hand, everything was done for us and we only had our laundry back a few hours after dropping it off. We also didn't find any other laundry service in the area.
- Celina (7/5): Nice place but inconvenient location - The room was big and comfortable. It was a like a flat with two bedrooms all to ourselves. Breakfast was good and the owner was very kind and let us check out late as we had a bus leaving at night. The location was quiet but far away from the centre of town and hard to find. The first time we went with a tuk tuk it took us ages to find it. There are no restaurants around, so we couldn't have dinner the night we arrived as we got there late (partly because it took so long to find the place) and the cook had already left. We had to take a tuk tuk every time we wanted to go out.
- Hendrik (9/5): We had a great time and so will you! - The homestay is nicely located at a community garden. The food is really great. The room is good value for money. There are community spaces on every floor giving space for reading, yoga, relaxing. The owner is kind, speaks multiple languages and is very knowledgeable about the area and local business and outlets. We had a great time and so will you!
- Sonya (9/5): Lovely homestay - We enjoyed our stay here, the rooms are well set out with a good sized bathroom - the shower wasn't amazing but it works and there is hot water. There is a really nice living area space with a kitchen area as well - kettle and microwave as well as a large balcony. The breakfast is simple but good. The surrounding area is a really nice gated development, outside that is a poorer area but we really enjoyed walking through here each day - everyone is very friendly. Location for visiting places is perfect - easy walk to the taj mahal.
- Belén (10/5): Perfect - Sana, the owner, was amazing! She cooks Indian homemade food delicious. She was always helpful with us.
The house is very confortable, with prívate bathroom with hot water. Perhaps the ubication is a bit far or difficult to arrive, but the neighborhood is very nice and quiet where you Can relax.
- Sookun (9/5): Superb - The owner was very friendly! Food was heavenly! Homemade food :)
The parantha was the best breakfast we had! We would have preferred a lighter colored bedsheet :)
- Ritter (10/5): A great experience with a lovely host! - The host was very lovely and hospitable and went out of her way to help us. The food was excellent, traditional and very good value for money! We definitely recommend staying here.
- Anne (10/5): Great location with spacious rooms - Nice place in a quiet area
We had booked 2 rooms and got a lounge room and small kitchen to ourselves also.
Nice breakfast and dinner also, which was not spicy
- Jeannette (10/5): Amazing place to stay in Agra - Great property, and spacious rooms. You also have access to a small kind of kitchen and living room, so it is a very comfortable place to stay, relax, and rewind after all the buzzing in the streets.
The breakfast is AMAZING! You have a lot of choices depending on your preference and it's all freshly made for each person.
The location is very safe and very good, as it's close to everything but pretty quiet in the evenings, so you can get a good rest.
- Jurijus (10/5): Exceptional - Very deliciuos cooking,- apartments very spaceful , owners are very kind persons. Reccomend!!! Not all taxis coming to doorstep- need to go few hundreds meters to main road
- Sonali (6/5): Good value for money - The location was good in a quiet residential area. Not very far from Taj Mahal. The room was good and spacious, toilet clean and had modern facilities. there was a small kitchenette with kettle, tea coffee and microwave. Filtered water were available. Breakfast was superb, I choose aloo Paratha but there were cereal, toast egg options as well. there was no ordinary tea bag or milk . I didn’t like to take tulsi decaf tea after a whole day tour. But during breakfast it was rectified
- Archisman (6/5): stay only for a small duration if you have to have a place to crash - Property has a good balcony to hang out and drawing room is there location is inside a housing society but the approach roads are through slums. This is the biggest negative as you cannot step out without car. The lighting is very dim inside the rooms which in a winter night is not sufficient and can be improved
- Dr (7/5): Good -
- Vikas (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (8/5): Great stay, would recommend! - Staff was very nice, spoke great English, and easy to get ahold of.
- Rakesh (1/5): Bad -
- Saurabh (10/5): Awesome Experience - Courtesy of the Hosts, Cleanliness of the Place, Easily Approachable , The outside seating area is the place to be.
I requested the host for late check out and without hesitation he agreed to do so, very good people to chat with the place is a hidden gem. The Kitchenette should have a Microwave..
- Navneet (9/5): Superb -
- Dawei007 (10/5): An oasis in the desert! - The homestay is brilliant and the area in which the actual home is, is lovely l.The owners are super nice and very helpful with anything you may require.Breakfast was good and it gives one a chance to sit and chat with the owner. Would highly recommend staying here BUT be warned; when I stayed here in October 2022 the road leading to here and the state of the whole neighbourhood is incredibly poor! A very authentic Indian experience! Loved the balcony for evening drinks. Road leading to the homestay and how dirty the neighbourhood is. Get past that and your stay will be FAB, I guarantee.
- Adva (10/5): Amazing stay, felt like home - The owner of the homestay made us feel very comfortable and like home, we had wonderful time and wished we could have stayed longer. Also his wife make wonderful indian food. They helped us alot and we highly recommend the homestay.
- Mayank (10/5): Exceptional -
