Guest Reviews
- Gaston (4/5): Disappointing -
- Ana (8/5): Good value for money - The place is great, just 3 minutes by walk from mercado 28,the biggest artesian mall in Cancun. Lots of restaurants and shops as well in around. The lack of communication.
I sent a request for an early check in a week in advance and they never replied.
The day of my check in,they added me on WhatsApp and I asked them another question and again I was ignored.
- Georgina (2/5): Very poor - It was very clean No receptionist. We needed to guess where was our room, + just contact by message.
Moreover, the area was not very safe, we almost got robbed near the hotel.
- A (4/5): Disappointing -
- Lister (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mariana (6/5): - ** Location:The location of this place is fantastic, with easy access to Walmart, Mercado 28, Parque de las Palapas, and a small supermarket just a few meters away.
** Check-in was straightforward, as it was a self-check-in process.
** Cleanliness: The room was small, but adequate for a short stay. However, while the bed, floor, and toilet were clean, I must mention that the overall cleanliness could have been improved. The walls showed signs of mildew, and there were soap remnants left in the shower from previous guests. The bathroom ceiling also had noticeable mildew, and the air-conditioner could benefit from a thorough cleaning as well.
** Final thoughts: So, if you prioritize cleanliness and prestige, this may not be the ideal place for you. However, if you're not particularly concerned with the cleanliness and are more focused on a great location, this could be a good choice.
- Marie (8/5): Very good -
- Tomoe (9/5): Superb - The room and shower room has enough space. You can hear the voice from the corridor
.
- Melissa (1/5): Bad - They canceled my reservation because I arrived too late.
- Melissa (1/5): Bad - We didn’t stay there, they cancel the reservation at last minute but the reservation was still active in booking so i called them and they said nobody was there to attend me at the time I arrived, so it supossed they canceled it I hope they don’t charge anything to my card.
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sabine (1/5): Horrible - - It’s not clean at all, photo’s are showing a wrong picture. There were stains in the sheets and long black hairs in the bed, absolutely disgusting. The shower was cold and low water pressure, no breakfast, the owner did not help me out when I had some booking struggles. Absolutely recommend spending a couple more dollars and go somewhere else.
- Aaron (8/5): Very good - Nice staff. Good air-conditioning. Good value for money. No windows in rooms.
- Anna (5/5): Passable - The hotel is well located.
- Hernandez (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ortega (1/5): Not stay, because no one was there and only return the calls after approximately 30min. I was forced - They were never able to open the door, and I don't think Booking.com care about, looking forward to have my refund. Nothing
- Giorgia (6/5): Pleasant - Good location, the staff was very precise during the check-in instructions and always responsive in their replies. Unfortunately, there were no windows in the room or in the bathroom.
- Mark (9/5): Superb -
- Beth (9/5): Superb -
- Laura (7/5): Good - Very nice and helpful staff, the room was a little moldy though, but for 1 night it's perfectly fine. Very simple breakfast with coffee, fruit and some pastries, but for that price you just can't complain at all. If you just need a place to stay for one or two nights, I can definitiv recommend it!
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Great place to stay. Greta people
- Wannes (8/5): Great budget stay! - Good budget stay in clean rooms! Staff was very helpful via WhatsApp as we arrived very late due to delays and we were happy to get a good night's rest 😊
Minor downsides are that the beds were a bit wobly, you heard everything on the hallway from other (loud) guests, and no hot water, but still great value for what we paid!
- Nerissa (8/5): Very good -
- Olena (7/5): Good - Good place for living, centre of city, beaches not so far. 2 of them I could walking No windows in the room
- Samuel (2/5): I would avoid this place unless you're desperate - They tried to charge us twice, once in cash, claiming it was cash only. I checked my bank and they had also charged me through booking.com just after we paid with cash. The receptionist is not fit for the hospitality industry.
- Leonardo (5/5): Passable - Position, close to the ADO bus Towels not really clean (yellow stain), no windows, room on the corridor really loud all night.
- Dmitrii (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dmitrii (6/5): Pleasant -
- Marco (5/5): Passable -
- Anuradha (5/5): Passable - Better front desk - hardly anyone there when you needed someone.
- Chen (2/5): Black mold, mildew, lack of communication and available staff. - Location was good Getting there could have been an issue because unless we came at the exact right time (luckily we did) we wouldn’t have been able to get in as it was just a covered gate with no indications that this was a place to stay. Checking in was fine, but once we entered our room we noticed mildew all in the walls and black mold in our refrigerator.
We didn’t have toilet paper, soap, or any other toiletries beyond towels (thank god we had that at least), we grabbed some toilet paper from the room next door but apparently they didn’t have any staff around at night so they were unable to do a soap refill that night. (We used our shampoo to wash our hands)
My daughter tried to take a shower and realized there was no hot water, and when we complained about the mold and mildew they offered us to move up a floor (presumably into a room without black mold) but refused to partially refund us even though that was a health hazard. My family ended up moving to a different hotel, one that would be safer to stay in.
- Valerio (10/5): Exceptional - Location
- Dagmar (5/5): Passable - The room was close to the ADO station. There was a fridge and hot water. It looked clean. The check-in was smooth. There was a small breakfast provided (an apple and a sweet piece of bread) and a small garden to sit in There was no window in the room. It wasn't the place where I would want to stay longer than one night. The communication about the chceck-in was only in Spanish and came quite late. I was on the plane and not always connected. I would appreciate if some instructions (e.g. request for passport photocopy) could be sent earlier.
- Noshin (5/5): Not good - Value No window, less facilities
- Ruchika (6/5): Pleasant -
- Georgios (1/5): Bad -
- Adam (10/5): Great location to stop before or after flights. Quiet, comfortable and good value for money. - Great location! Close to transport links and away from the ghastly materialistic hotel zone! 👌
Easy check in, friendly staff and quiet room!
- Anuradha (4/5): Disappointing - the location was very good. Waiting for 2 hours for someone to show up when we arrived.
- David (7/5): Budget stay - A small breakfast with coffee included, water available A wet bed
A sign in front of the building would be appreciated
- Ira (4/5): Disappointing - Our room had no windows, there were bunk beds even though that wasn’t specified on booking, only cold water in the shower
- Hanieh (4/5): Disappointing - Not that expensive I waited for an hour outside cuz no one was at the reception. I called the number multiple times and no one answered until some gast opened the door for me. I went it and there was still no one to reach. I was glad the door to my room was open so I could just go in. It was very loud. The room has no window and the walls smell wet. I got a headache. The sheets were also not clean. I couldn't sleep alright. It was very loud.
- Jennifer (7/5): Great little stay. - 5 min walk to Mercado 28 (food and trinkets Market). The staff were lovely and very helpful, they booked us an uber. The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent aircon. Great value for money. The room was very small and so was the bed, but clean and comfortable. The WiFi didn't reach to our room (#11). No complimentary tea and coffee but it was cheap and in a great location. There's no sign for the hotel and the intercom is hidden behind the gate.
- Temi (7/5): Good value for the price - Easy access, friendly staff, 24/7 access to the property, good value for the price or a short stay Rooms are sort of clean but not the cleanest. No English speaking staff
- Marina (5/5): Passable -
- Conny (9/5): Superb - Nice place near the ado-busstation. Also close to buses out to the beach and hotelaria.
Friendly staff that did their best to give advice and help.
- Gertruda (1/5): Never again. - Everywhere was mold and damp. It smel not good. We have to stay there 4 nights but we left the room immediately. The picture on booking are much more better. In the reality it is a disaster. Never again.
- Leule (7/5): Good - Just a reg spot nothing fancy , bit of a stench , but got some spray and it was all good after , its just a bed , which is what i wanted nothing ,crazy
- Jamilah (7/5): Good for a night as it’s very cheap and close to the airport. - Very cheap and good for a night before heading to the airport (10 minute drive). Staff was very nice. The fridge in our room was dirty but we didn’t need it anyway.
- Nicholas (8/5): Very good - My room was private The doors are loud and the beds aren't very soft
- Heidi (7/5): Good - Very affordable and cute drawings, nice location
The hotel doesn't have the name written on it outside, so keep an eye out for it.
The staff was very cooperative with providing safe street parking The bed sheets weren't the cleaniest, but passable
Toilet didn't have a seat
- Lado (1/5): Very disappointing & dangerous! - Very disappointing & dangerous! Extremely poor communication between employees and guests. When I arrived to the hotel late in the evening (about the time the hosts were informed two weeks before) - there was no one there. They didn't send me the code to enter the hotel and nobody answered the phone. I was waiting outside at night in a very dangerous area and they were just ignoring me. So I had to spend the night in another hotel. Next day the host was acting as everything is fine... The refund was refused!
- Schahin (3/5): Poor - Staff was very nice
- Jonas (6/5): Pleasant - Good price for the room. The staff is friendly. There is no Wlan in the rooms and there are only 2 power outlets, that are occupied with a fridge and a fragrance defuser. It is necessary to disconnect one of them, in order to be able to charge your electric devices.
- Paola (5/5): Passable -
- Tomasz (7/5): Good for a quick stay overnight - The crew was nice and helpful. Our rooms were clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. „Breakfast” is an exagerated word id say. It was a coffee, bananas and very weak sweet bread.
- Boyd (9/5): Pleasant chill place to stay. - Good, was able to get coffee at 11:30 though it said it ended at 11, which I appreciated. My toilet had no seat, and the water pressure in the shower was so high it was kind of painful.
- Olena (10/5): Exceptional - nice place, i liked everything very much. Very helpful staff. i would recommend this place. I can't say anything bad because I liked everything
- Stefano (6/5): Decent (but a bit scary) first night in Cancun - The room is pretty and the private bathroom is good. The space are good for the price. The position is a bit tricky. It is at 10/15 minutes from Tulum center and ADO station. As a first night in Cancun and in Mexico, I got scared arriving at the structure. However, going back to the structure in the evening through the main road (Google maps suggested me some small streets at the first arrival) seemed safe.
- Riccardo (7/5): Good - Is very central and handy for ADO A bit too much of mold and humidity in the walls
- Dubtodd (9/5): Superb -
- Biehl (3/5): Poor -
- Sara (4/5): Disappointing -
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Zuzana (6/5): No idea - The price, location, good communication, pleasant guests My room had no window, i forgot to check that
- Gianfranco_ts (9/5): Very good hotel - Good rate, nice staff, right in front of Mercado 28. It can also be reached on foot from the ADO bus station
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elaine (6/5): Pleasant - Cleanliness is impecible
- Laura (8/5): Very good -
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (1/5): Bad - It was not a hotel, it was in a very dirty area
- Siguirit (8/5): Very good -
- Jacobo (9/5): Superb -
- Katrīna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tina (8/5): Very good - A/C, comfy bed, nice artwork in room, good location, felt safe The chlorine smell in the bedroom and the pastries for breakfast were stale
- Fanny (8/5): Great short stay for one night - Location in the center of Cancun, the staff The breakfast is light
- Jhonny (7/5): Okay for a night! - Its pretty basic cheap hotel! I would say its quite expensive for what they offer, but prob its average for cancun! Good air conditioning by the way. The breakfast they offer is just basic.
- Annabelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): - Todo bien
- Isabel (7/5): Good -
- Naoki (8/5): Very good - Clean and quiet room with kind staff. n/a
- Alaa (1/5): I hated they are thieves - It is very bad, unprofessional, and thieves They are unprofessional thieves, after you book with them and they show that they have a flexibility with the time you end up in the street because they don’t have counter and then they don’t do any refunds for you. They took my money I end up in the street in the middle of nowhere. struggling to find another Booking while theypromise me that I will have my refund
The end up, blocking me in the what’s up
- Yuan (8/5): Very good -
- Edmundo (9/5): Superb - Super clean and great price
- Ramón (8/5): They have things to improve, but for the price it is ok - The staff Is very friendly. Noise and comfort.
- Forero (6/5): Pleasant -
- Caolyn (10/5): Overall a great time and experience. - Great location, large group accommodations, excellent pizza across from the place, good communication, overall excellent place. A little distance from the drop off point. Highly recommend water taxi.
- Berry (8/5): Very good - There is distilled water at the front desk. The room has air conditioning. Breakfast starts very late. No one cleans the room during our stays. There is no window in the room.
- Dante (6/5): Did book this because we were flying from Cancun airport the next day and this accomodation had a discount - Good location Uncomfortable hard bed & no toilet seat on the toilet :(
- Alain (6/5): Nice hotel for backpakers. - In Cancun center.
lovely terrace. Not so close to the beaches..
The really poor breakfast (a coffee and a donut).
- Alvaro (10/5): Exceptional - Located right in front of Mercado 28, so you will have lots of places to have great food options at cheap prices. The place is great and the staff is always attentive and helpful even before you arrive. Special thanks to Julio. Very recommendable place.
- Guylene (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karel (7/5): Good -
- Wilai (8/5): Very good - clean there is no name in front of the property. Difficult to find
- Guido (9/5): A very nice place to stay in Cancun if you are on a budget - Good location, nice bathroom, loved the beach theme painting on the wall, comfortable bed, excellent price to value deal There was no sign to indicating the location of this hotel, so it was a bit confusing to figure out if the building was the actual hotel, otherwise everything was near perfect
- Miguel (10/5): - Excelente atención
- Zaimi (7/5): fair price - Good rooms for the price
- Sara (2/5): It's not fancy - No internet
No tv
- Miguel (10/5): - Todo excelente
