• Paul (10/5): Ideal short stay in a quiet residential Neighbourhood, which feels quite safe - Quiet Property off the main roads with friendly proprietors and a sweet cat; a five minute walk to either road Junction outside the gated community for the usual food stamps, I made my own way there on foot and with buses and the proprietor sent helpful messages Little bit in accessible, but worth the trouble..

• Steven (9/5): Comfortable and friendly for a night or two if you're not interested in the beach - I stayed here for two nights after my flight in from the UK. I wasn't interested in visiting the beaches so the location relatively near the airport was good for me. I took the accommodation's offer of an airport pickup. The host and other guests were very friendly and helpful. When I left I was able to get a local bus into town to the ADO terminal no problem. During the one full day I had here I walked in towards the centre (not all the way) and did some shopping for a SIM card. Nothing too exciting but it was a good way to start to feel comfortable with being in a foreign country. The area is a bit dull but I didn't really expect anything different. It felt safe enough. It does at least feel like you are really in Mexico, not just in a beach resort which could be almost anywhere.

There is a washing machine in the property. There are big supermarkets nearby. Overall for this price the place is nice.

Our door had a deadbolt, so when we were having breakfast, the door to our room locked by itself and all our stuff including our phones and car keys were locked in the room. One of the other guests contacted the property manager/owner, who didn't seem too bothered and said that she had extra keys but will be back from work after 3pm and didn't even try to come up with any solution. Unbelievable. Luckily we got to the room by window, if not, we would have stayed all day waiting for someone to show up and open the door for us instead of spending the day in Cancun. Very unprofessional, do not recommend. The accomodation was clean though.
• Ines (8/5): Really good stay! Recommend for solo travelers. Really good for the money you pay. - It was quiet, clean and organized. Tania is really nice and I felt like I had the house for myself which I loved since I really needed to rest before my flight. Good shower, good room. For me was just hard to get to the house from the airport since I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on transportation. But if you don’t mind spending the money it’s all good.

There is no back yard area and the front was full of garbage. The room was cleaned 7 hours after our check in.

• Sandra (6/5): Pleasant - It was kind of okay for one night. The host was nice and helped me with organizing a transport. I stayed because I had read that it was close to the airport. However, there is no shuttle taking you there directly and you will have to take a taxi which is more expensive. For me personally, going to Cancun downtown might have been a bit easier. It felt kind of far off and the house strongly smelled like cats when I arrived (not so much the room itself).

Owner very helpful with bus routes and advice. Quite hard to find and far away from main area. In gated community that is quite confusing to locate- definitely need internet to find this. No instructions on how to get into the house/gated area which was very frustrating. House could definitely be a-bit tidier, especially floors. No instructions anywhere and owner not on site. I.e couldn’t find bins in main area, couldn’t find password for Wi-Fi, couldn’t find keys to gates.

• André (5/5): A room in a house far from anything - I thought it was an “Inn” but it’s a house in a giant gated community. It is far away from the airport, so in the end I spent more money than I would in an hotel in downtown. If the objective is only a night of sleep to get to the airport, I’d definitely recommend a hotel room in downtown

We didn't see the host a lot but she communicated very good in advance for a smooth check-in and arranging a transfer to the airport. The location is ok, several supermarkets and restaurants nearby and in a protected area and circa 30 minutes to the airport.

• Naomi (8/5): Good room for a 1 night stopover in Cancun. Lovely and helpful host! - Perfect room for 1 night stay after flying to Cancun airport. The host was lovely, super helpful and responsive. The room and bathroom were clean and we had AC. The property was secure and in a safe neighbourhood.
