• Ori (8/5): Lovely and nice for a short stay - I had a really late check in at 3am and the lady was so kind about it!! I had to add some money but she slept on the lobby couch and I really appreciated it🥹 The room was nice, I was traveling solo and it felt small in a good way that it wasn’t overwhelming. The tv was easy to manage and the bed was very comfortable!! The place is inside this ally and it was kind of difficult to get there with a taxi and the street wasn’t the most pleasant at night for a female solo traveler. The shower was fine but it’s this type of showers that the entire room is a shower- not too bad.

The hotel is in walking distance from many tourist spots and also a lot of nice caffès and restaurants It is very hard to find, you have to get into some little streets to actually find the location. Look for Vika Homestay signs. Good luck!

Номер соответствовал нашим ожиданиям. Было чисто, хорошее wi-fi соединение , кондиционер, вентилятор, холодильник , фен , туалетная бумага, гель для душа , шампунь , все было в номере. Уютное место для курения.

Wir haben eine Woche in der Unterkunft verbracht, es wurde jedoch nicht einmal sauber gemacht. In der Zeit sammelt sich doch einiges an Schmutz auf dem Boden und auch die Mülleimer waren mehr als voll.

Aircon was strong It was difficult to go down the stairs with a heavy luggage and the room was a bit small for me to open my luggage fully, but I didn’t mind it much

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The apartment where we stayed was a bit difficult to locate and it took a day and a half to familiarizad with the area. Cleaning services was required there was just this slight misunderstanding around one piece of cloth we seemed to have lost. Very small things all things considered.

Seems like Vika has at least 4 different buildings around this alley complex, so it's very unlikely that you'll get the rooms showcased in all the pictures. However, this was not a problem as my room was fine.

• Oksa (7/5): - Была вода питьевая, чайник, фен, полотенца. Жили в 4 ех местном номере с двумя кроватями. Местоположение действительно отличное и тихое. Обещанной терассы на крыше мы не нашли в нашем жилище. Один из матрасов был очень мягкий и имелись пролежни спали как в яме, на утро болела спина.
• Clare (10/5): Great value. Centrally located. - Close to restaurants. Fun to explore the alleys. Quiet and safe. Owner was very kind. It's not the 5 star facilities, but you pay for what you get. It was great value for the price.
• Anna-Marie (9/5): Sehr gute Lage, allerdings etwas älter - Das Homestay ist sehr gut gelegen, rund herum gibt es alles, was man braucht: Restaurants, Geschäfte etc. Gleichzeitig ist die Lage um einiges ruhiger als sonst in Saigon. Man ist innerhalb von 20 Minuten zu Fuß im Zentrum und bei den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Auch wird im Stock immer Wasser zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Einrichtung ist schon etwas mitgenommen und schaut nicht unbedingt so wie auf den Fotos - darauf muss man sich vor dem Check-In einstellen. Auch ist es nicht möglich, das Homestay mit dem Auto anzufahren - das ist vor allem für diejenigen, die per Grab anreisen wichtig! Man muss circa 2 Minuten zu Fuß durch engere Gassen, wo nur Moterräder durchkommen, gehen.

The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, with great communication throughout our stay. Laundry service was also available upon request for a small additional fee. Don’t pay attention to what you may read on Google review, this is truly the right place to stay and explore the city. Bed was quite firm

• George (9/5): Nice Homestay. Challenging to find - Very comfy room with a balcony. The staff was very helpful. Vika Homestay is in a good location. However, it is difficult to find. It is not on a main street. It is down a twisting alley. Motorbikes can go into the alley but cars cannot .We had a difficult time finding it using Google maps. Grab drivers and tour companies also couldn't find it. For Grab, we found it much easier to walk to the main street as our pickup point.

We left our bags there on the day we checked out and came back later to collect before heading to the airport. Excellent value too. Not the cleanest but you pay for what you get.

• Linda (5/5): Dringender Sanierungs- und Grundreinigungsbedarf - - zentrale Lage, wenn auch mit Kakerlaken in der Gasse - ruhig gelegen - großes Bett - Kontakt, zumindest über WhatsApp, spricht englisch - Kühlschrank mit Wasser - bis auf das Bettzeug war es überhaupt nicht sauber - Haare überall - dringend Mal eine Grundreinigung und Sanierung nötig - eines Abends hatte ich auch eine Kakerlake in meinem Bad, diese wurde dann entfernt - Zimmer war nicht das, welches ich gebucht hatte, sondern ein ganz anderes in einem anderen Haus - Balkon ist nicht nutzbar - Ameisen im Zimmer, also nicht herumstehen lassen, was irgendwie süß ist - im Wasserkocher war so viel Schimmel, dass er total unbrauchbar war ( echt eklig nicht nur von außen, sondern auch von innen) - Zimmer ziemlich klein, man kommt zur Schiebetür rein und steht direkt vor dem Bett

La camera è silenziosa e ha tutto ciò che serve, asciugamani, set da bagno, ventilatore, condizionatore, phon bollitore, e anche il ferro da stiro... Si possono raggiungere a pedi notre dame, central post, book street E molti altri posti interessanti. La signora è stata molto gentile ad aspettarci per il nostro check-in anche se abbiamo ritardato rispetto all'orario che avevamo indicato. Grazie! Nulla

• Garry Johal (5/5): - Staff were lovely and very responsive. They also let me reduce the length of my stay and provided me with a reduced price. Location is great. Just down the street you have some of the best examples of Vietnamese food and heaps of variety. The room was pretty gross. It needs a big clean, a lick of paint and some updated furniture. Definitely didn't look like any of the rooms in the pictures. The cupboard was cracked, scuff marks on the wall, random hairs from the previous guests. Also next door was doing some intense drilling and construction that started just before 8am. There really should be some consideration that there are paying guests whose mornings are being totally destroyed. As the property owners/managers you need to tell them they can't start that early, and some warning to your guests is essential. Imagine if you'd just arrived, jetlagged. I would have checked out immediately and found a different hotel. Instead I just left and stayed out and about for hours. A little more professionalism and regard for the guest experience is in dire need. I just kept white knuckling through the experience, reminding myself how cheap the accommodation was.

• vivian (5/5): Terrible communication before arrival - room is clean, neat, confortable like the photo. Although no one there speaks English, they seem friendly and try to help. You must tell people the exact location. You must tell people a car won't reach your address. No traveler carrying luggage wants to get lost among the alleys just to find the place. I messaged the day before asking if I could leave my luggage in the morning, and not even at that time you bothered to tell me that I could never reach your place by car. I messaged when I arrived in the morning saying I was lost and could not find your place, , and not even at that time you bothered to tell me a car would never reach your address. I mean, please, do understand that travelers may not be used to getting lost walking in the alleys, please understand that travelers carry luggage, they are taking taxi or grab to reach your place. Travelers need better guidance from you. It should not be hard to communicate this, just write it down " Dear guest, our place is located in an alley which you can only arrive by foot. The nearest address the car will reach is (and then please insert here the address reachable by grab or taxi, so travelers may copy and paste the correct address)." There you go, simple solution and will help a lot future guests. ✌️

• Ayaka (10/5): とても楽しく過ごせました。親切なオーナーさんに感謝します。 - ベトナムの一般的なご家庭に入れていただくという感じで、プライバシーは保ちながらも、地元の方々の雰囲気を感じることができました。オーナーさんたちはとてもご親切で、郵便局に行くときなども、バイクで送ってくださるほどでした。部屋はとても清潔でエアコンもしっかり効き、何よりインターネットが非常に安定していました。そのおかげで仕事なども進められました。 宿の2軒くらい隣にはフルサービスのランドリーがあり、大量の服を洗濯＋たたんでもらって500円くらいでした。ドラッグストアやコンビニ等も近いですし、こぎれいなレストランも屋台もあるので、生活には何も困らないと思います。 このお宿の問題ではなく地域の問題として、蚊が非常に多いです。ほかの東南アジアの国では大丈夫だったのが、ベトナムに来てから数限りなく蚊に刺されました。風通しを良くするために小さな窓があちこちに開いているのも原因だと思います。虫除けなど、自分でできる対策はしましょう。（これに関しても、オーナーさんが親切に虫除けスプレーを貸してくださり、途中からは大丈夫になりました！）
