• Laura (10/5): - Tuvimos una estadía hermosa. Mavi, la anfitriona, fue súper copada y nos hizo sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. Y Chocolate, su perro, también! La casa estaba impecable, muy limpia y cuidada. La ubicación es excepcional, con una vista increíble al Nevado de Cachi que hace todo aún más especial. El desayuno muy rico, con una gran variedad de mermeladas regionales. Sin dudas, un lugar para volver y recomendar.

She was an incredibly kind and generous host, she gave us lots of recommendations and even checked in on us after left to make sure we made it to our next accommodation. The house is absolutely beautiful and very tastefully decorated. This wasn’t an issue for us, but the property is about a 35 minute walk from town on a dirt road so make sure you have a car. The WiFi worked well in the main house but could be patchy in the bedroom

• tyler (10/5): Peace and an owner that wil make you feel at home :) - One of my favorite stays in South America. I truly would love to have a home like this if that tells you anything. Mavi is amazing and made me feel like i was staying with my mother or grandmother. The room is wonderful and has everything you need. The neighborhood is very peaceful. Chocolate is a great dog to spend some time with. The shower had wonderful water pressure and heat. Across the board this place was 10/10. Hope to be able to come spend a week here some day to unwinds and disconnect from the world! Thanks Mavi :) Zero

• Lara (10/5): Un séjour parfait chez Mavi… - Tout !!! Merci à Mavi pour son hospitalité, sa gentillesse, son goût pour la décoration … la maison est sublime et les lits incroyablement confortables. Mavi a été adorable et très arrangeante en nous servant le petit déjeuner très tôt, et elle a même préparé un gâteau d’anniversaire pour mon amie ! Le petit déjeuner était royal… nous nous sommes régalés. Nous n’oublierons jamais Mavi et Chocolate qui resteront à jamais gravés dans nos cœurs !

• Bibiche (10/5): Genieten van een prachtig huis - Prachtige accommodatie op een rustige plek in Cachi. Het huis is heel mooi ingericht en heeft veel sfeer. Het centrum van Cachi is snel bereikbaar met de auto. De eigenaresse Mavi is super lief en gezellig. Ze zorgt ervoor dat je, je gelijk thuis voelt. Daarnaast ook een heerlijk lokaal ontbijt. Als we meer tijd zouden hebben zouden we zeker langer zijn gebleven. Wij hebben genoten! Niks

Our host Roxana was so nice, chocolate the dog was a great addition and Maci was super helpful in communication before checking in. It’s a great hotel, so peaceful, so comfortable and really cosy. The location is outside town. This didn’t bother us as we had a car but is important to note if you don’t.

• Andrew (10/5): Top-notch hospitality in a unique, warm, natural home! - What a special and unique place. After 2 months in Argentina, it was easily our favorite. We even extended an additional 2 nights rather than trying out another town. A beautifully designed adobe home with plenty of natural and scenic views. Our bodies just felt good in this space. And the host, Mavi, is incredible and was truly the highlight of our experience. She is knowledgeable about the area, speaks great English (but indulged our beginner Spanish), and facilitates a warm and nurturing space. As it is a homestay, areas like the living room, dining room, and kitchen are shared. When we stayed there, there were no other guests, but in that case, the bathroom is shared, too. Each morning, Mavi put out a great spread of delicious jams (all fresh and local) and breads for us. She is personable and very professional. The surrounding area is beautiful! A few things to note - the home is made of adobe so there tends to be a bit of red dust that shake off the walls but nothing excessive, just something to think about. And the local resident dog - Chocolate - is an absolute sweetheart but if you have pet allergies, be mindful that you'll be sharing common spaces with this sweet pup! The location is in a quiet neighborhood outside of the main town. We had a car, so it was fine, but if traveling by bus, it would be a struggle to get into town each day. You really need your own vehicle to fully appreciate what this area has to offer.

She was super happy letting us stay at her home from where you have a beautiful view onto the mountains. We felt directly like being at home and were disappointed that we had to leave. Everything was just wonderful and we got a delicious Cachi style breakfast.

• Shawn (9/5): Lovely little BNB - Such a lovely typical Adobe home! And the host, Mavi, is so warm and helpful. She even checked road conditions for us prior to us setting out for Cafayete. The area is close to town but we drove into Cachi for dinner as it's a good 20 minute walk, probably. We really enjoyed our time with Mavi though our visit was short. Would recommend. The double bed was small for us, but my husband is 6'3" and over 200 lbs. Anything smaller than a queen size bed is just too small for us. Be aware there is no air conditioning and it can get a bit warm in the bedroom though the temperature does cool down a bit at night.

She gives very nice advice about a small nice winery and also checks the route conditions for our trip. She really cares about the guests. Chocolate, a lovely dog, adds even more the cosy feeling of the accommodation. The room is spacious and also has a very good breakfast. Nothing.

Keep in mind that it's in the desert, so water & electricity supply is sometimes unstable.

If you're searching for a local and authentic stay, I cannot recommend this enough. I would also say that the pictures don't do the house justice, it looks more beautiful in reality.
