• Ida-Maria (10/5): Erinomaista laatua kohtuullisella budjetilla - Kaikki oli luvatun mukaista. Jaettu kylpyhuone oli aina siisti, oma huone lukollinen ja siisti. Kysymällä sai jääkaapista vähän tilaa (vaikka sitä ei ole mukavuuksiin lisätty, eli ei odotusarvo), omistaja ystävällinen ja avulias (myös keskellä päivää kun tarvitsin apua kaupungilla). Sijainti aivan ensiluokkainen, kirjaimellisesti 2min päässä Arsenalen vesibussipysäkistä (suora yhteys lentoasemalle Alilagunalla ja kaupungin muille pysäkeille paikallisvesibusseilla), mutta kuitenkin rauhallisella kujalla poissa turistivirrasta. Kevätaikaan Venetsiassa on paljon hyttysiä, majoittaja tarjosi siihenkin apua (mm. huoneessa oleva karkotin). Hinta-laatusuhde erinomainen Venetsian tasoon verrattuna. Talo on vanha, joten äänieristys ei ole mahtava, mutta ei kerrostaloa kummempi. Korvatulpat mukaan jos epäilet, että ikkunan toisella puolella oleva pulun juttelu haittaa (keskiyöllä katu ja talo tuntui olevan täysin hiljainen).

Ci ha consigliato dove andare a mangiare, dove prendere un buon gelato e quali mezzi utilizzare. Inoltre l'ultimo giorno ci ha fatto rimanere in stanza di più e ci siamo messi a chiacchierare. Ci ha raccontato di tutte le sue avventure. Il letto comodissimo Il bagno in comune e le pareti della camera non permettono di avere tanta privacy ma come appoggio per godersi la vacanza la consiglio

• Olena (9/5): - The location is 🔥🔥🔥 in the city center. It's a 10-minute walk along the embankment to St. Mark's Square. This is an accommodation with the owner. The room is clean and cozy. The bed is comfortable. There is a kettle, a wardrobe, and a desk. The shared bathroom is clean. The water in the shower is hot (important in winter). Towels and toiletries are provided. The apartment is warm. The host is charismatic and greets you personally. This stay made my carnival trip comfortable. I recommend it. Absolute audibility through the doors. I was lucky. It was quiet😊

Io da sola ho preso la camera piccola, che però è comoda e accogliente. La casa era sempre pulita. La posizione della casa è perfetta e del quartiere posso dire tutto il meglio, tranquillo e offre tutto, di cui c’è bisogno: bar, ristoranti, supermercato. E ultimo ma non meno importante: Renato è superhost, che c’è sempre, se uno ha bisogno, per un consiglio, aiuto o informazione.

A very friendly and good- natured owner of the apartment, who also lives there. Renato helped with everything ❤️, met me in the rain 🚘, and offered any assistance he could provide. I am infinitely grateful 🙏🏻 to him. It's a pity that I didn't know how good it would be and was only there for 5 days

If you’re searching for something polished and impersonal, look elsewhere. But if you want the real Venetian experience, guided by the kindest and most attentive host, this is the place. We came as visitors, but we left feeling like we had discovered a piece of Venice most people never get to see. And yes, we would return in a heartbeat.

Provided extra fans in the hot weather. A simple and traditional Venetian family apartment on second floor. Easy to find and close to Arsenale vaporetto stop. Everything was just fine.

• Diamond (9/5): Comfortable enough, great for short stay - Very “Italian” experience. I personally enjoyed it, felt more like home than hotel/airbnb stay. Renato was very helpful and interactive but also gave me space when I needed it. House is comfortable enough, everything works and meets the basic needs. Location is great with a boat bus stop just 2 minute walk from the flat. I would definitely come back, but if you are after a more private or luxurious stay it might not be the one for you, as someone previously mentioned you become part of hosts life.

Location: 1 minute walk to Arsenale vaporetto and 5 minutes to Biennale, also easy to go into less touristy streets for bars/osterias Room: small but functional, surprisingly comfortable bed for a single size, a desk is also useful plus a lot of storage space for clothes WiFi: really strong signal Shared spaces: the bathroom was always clean and available despite there being other guests in the second room; the kitchen is private but Renato gave me free use of the fridge to keep some stuff and I could make tea in the mornings, which was all I needed Overall a very positive experience both in terms of socializing and getting recommendations from.a local, and value for money as well!

• Cintamani (10/5): Affordable and Great Location! - Renato is like discovering you have a long lost uncle who lives in Venice and he offers you to come and stay at his place! You are staying in a room in Renato’s apartment. This is not a hotel. He is very welcoming and friendly and even offered to get me some water, coffee and breakfast items from the store which was very generous considering these are not included. The place was clean and the location was excellent! You are right next to the Arsenale vaporetto stop and very near the Biennale which is why I went to Venice. Renato also provides hand soap, shower gel and shampoo in the shared bathroom, which was nice. The place is basic, just like what you see in the photos, but comfortable. I recommend Renato and his rooms for a cheap and convenient stay in Venice!
• Daniel (1/5): The worst experience with the flat owner - The Location is good. 3 min from the water bus Arsenale. These are the only good points for this accommodation. Be prepared that you stay together with the flat owner. He has all his clothes in the room that you pay for. And it can happens that he ask you to take some his stuff from the wardrobe. The owner doesn’t respect the night time so be prepared for a night cooking between 10-11pm. Because all equipment in the flat is old you can be sure that when he is cooking you will smell everything. For example we could smell the fried seafood or fish at 11pm. He also speaks very loud so you can hear all his telephone conversations with his friends after 10pm. Absolutely don’t understand how booking can allow this type of accommodation with the shared flat with the owner. You can find much better accommodation in Venice.
• Roksolana (1/5): I do not recommend it - it was terrible. there were no breakfasts, but I wouldn't eat in such filth... the owner of the apartment drinks alcohol and does not let him sleep until the morning. and so every day (((everything is dirty, the bed is hard.
• Suchi (10/5): Fantastic. Would love to stay in Renato’s House next time in Venice - We shared the house with Renato, who is very welcoming and friendly. The toilet has been newly renovated, and Renato keeps the place impeccably clean. If possible, definitely try the food cooked by Renato—he is a wonderful chef who offers authentic Venetian flavors. If you don’t like warm hospitality and making friends, you can tell Renato. He is respectful and will give you space.
• Viv (8/5): Good option for somewhere to sleep while you explore Venice - Renato’s house was close to Arsenale station which was serviced by several water buses. This made coming from Venice train station easy as well as leaving to the airport by the Alilaguna water bus very convenient. 10mins walk to St Marcs square. It was a spare bedroom in his house and a shared bathroom. Renato was kind enough to let us use his fridge and gave tips for places to eat and how to get to specific places.

He is very attentive in keeping the shared bathroom clean and tidy. He gave me great advice on places of interest to visit in Venice. Renato’s property was in a great location just a two minute walk to the water bus. Renato cooked for myself and the food was amazing, he is a great host and I would recommend anyone to stay here if they want to experience the venetian lifestyle. I stayed at the property for 7 nights, (7 nights was too long for Venice) But overall I had a great stay and would highly recommend staying at Renato’s house. The single room was very hot, but Renato did inform me that he is going to invest in some AC. Apart from that everything else was fine.😃

• Karina (9/5): Amazing! I’m very grateful for the good moment that I spend in your house. - Renato is a great host and very willing to help. He worries with his guests and he helps the best of his ability. You just need to be patient and to LISTEN to him. His advices really made the best of my experience in Venice. I will definitely return and I’ll recommend him. Don’t wait for lux. Renato has a very simple house but very clean and tidy. You also have a key to close the door of the room and he gives you 100% privacy. He was kind enough to invite me for dinner and a small tour between the streets of Venice. There’s no isolation for the sound so If someone is in the kitchen even though the door is closed you can still listen but nothing that really bothers me.

• Toby (10/5): Fantastic stay in an amazing location - Amazing location right by Arsenale station, and very close to San Marco Plaza, so this made things very easy with lots to do right on your doorstep. Renato was a fantastic host giving us lots of information about local restaurants / advice on things to do which was a great help. This is a shared apartment (3bedroom) which you share the facilities with the host and another 1-2 people, and he kept everything spotless and clean. We had an incredible 3 days exploring Venice and would highly recommend to others to do the same :)

• Fulya (3/5): Poor - Location If we had known that we would be sharing accommodation with the owner, we would not have rented. It's in the center, the location is great, Renato is a good person but a little messy. Even if the room and bathroom are clean, the mess you encounter when you enter is alarming. The door to Renato's room is open and when you enter into the house, you see his room first. It's extremely messy. The bathroom is renovated, but Renato also uses it. The description says shared bathroom, but it is not clearly stated that you will be staying with the owner. The room is old, clean, but the old door of the room does not inspire confidence. Despite all this, it is quite high priced for a single room and a shared bathroom. For the same price, you can find a double hotel room with private bathroom and air conditioning in the center.

The ad is a bit misleading with the photos and the setup. The bathroom is clean but there is only one for the host and guests. Otherwise excellent location.

• Мария (10/5): Exceptional - I liked this place a lot! Renato was very nice host, met me at the boat stop, helped me with the bags. The location is excellent, 5-7 mins to San Marco Square and 3 mins from the apartment there is the boat stop Arsenale. The supermarket is also not so far away, the cafes and restaurants are just nearby. The apartment itself is not very big, but has everything necessary. The bathroom is not private, but Renato cleans it every time after being used. In general, Renato is nice, active and hospitable host and apartment is very nice!

I was travellling alone, so I was thrilled that he offered his number so that I could call on him if I was ever stuck some place or needed help whilst out in Venice. Renato kept the fascillities super clean and offered to make dinner for me too! Unfortunately I wasn't able to take him up on the offer this time as I was in Venice for a conference, but hopefully next time!

Renato's house is an old Venetian building situated right in the centre of the historic city, about 10-15 min from St Marco's. Renato himself is a native, and gave us many recommendations of what's best to see and where to eat real Italian food. If you want to feel authentic Venetian lifestyle, you should certainly book Renato's House 😊.

And the location is great.,.a couple minutes to the vaporetto and under ten minutes to San Marco. Worked out great 👍 Google maps wasn't working for me so I had a hard time finding it, especially because I was unfamiliar with navigating Venice. The key is understanding how the building numbers work. Or ask for landmarks for once you get close.

• Agnieszka (9/5): The stay was nice and comfy. - Renato is a perfect host, he made me feel at home. He reserved the best restaurant for me and shared a lot of tips about the city. The room is small but cozy and comfortable for one person. You can find everything you’ll need. I stayed at the end of November, so the weather is no longer warm, but Renato’s house was warm and well heated. The cleanliness is 10/10! Thank you! Hope to see you again for the next biennale.
