• Laetitia (8/5): Bon séjour et bon petit déjeuner - Nous avons apprécié notre séjour, nous avions choisi ce logement pour être près du ferry pour Isla mujeres. Nous avons pu profiter d’un super petit déjeuner en terrasse, hôte très gentil et arrangeant. Quartier un peu éloigné, non touristique.

Arturo ist sehr zuvorkommend, gab uns super Tipps, war mega sympathisch und hilfsbereit! Die Köchin Jessico, war auch super. Das Frühstück war das biste seit wir in Mexiko sind! Alles einfach super. • SYLVIE (9/5): - Nous y sommes restés 1 seule nuit. Cette maison appatient à Arturo qui avait laissé les instructions via messagerie. La literie est vraiment confortable. Le lendemain nous avons rencontré Arturo et son amie et nous ont préparé un très bon petit déjeuner. Ils ont été très sympathiques et accueillants. Dans la description il était indiqué une piscine. Mais nous ne l'avons pas vue. Ce n'était pa grave pour nous car nous repartions le lendemain matin.

• Christiane (7/5): Enttäuschend - Wenn man europäische Preise verlangt, erwarte ich auch eine entsprechende Leistung. Wir waren leider gar nicht begeistert von der Unterkunft, zumal unser Zimmer überhaupt nicht den in Booking abgebildeten Fotos glich. Die Lage am Playa del Niño ist gut, aber auch ziemlich abgelegen. Das Frühstück draußen im Schatten hat uns gut gefallen.

Die Kommunikation im Vorraus war total einfach und es hat alles reibungslos funktioniert. Die Lage war top. Das Gelände ist eimgezäunt und der Strand war direkt vor der Tür. Großer Bonus: die Dachterrasse und der Pool darauf. Wirklich ein sehr besonderer Ort! -

• Simarpreet (6/5): A nice Homestay. - I like the location. It is very close to the ocean. The home stay was good. Even the guy was not at home but he made the instructions very clear how to grab the key and how to get in the room. There was a nice decent breakfast. The shower head needs to be changed, seems like it was never changed and it was damaged badly. The room was Tiny and you can find some of the lizards on the wall. The breakfast was included but if you need something they want to charge a more additional money.

Cestou na Holbox som zistila, ze som si na vešiaku v izbe zabudla plavky, nakoľko sa sušili a ráno boli stále mokré. Hneď, ako som sa dostala k signálu a možnosti kontaktovať majiteľa, som mu písala, ze by som ho pekne poprosila mi ich odložiť, nakoľko sa o týždeň do Cancunu vraciam pred odletom a určite si pre plavky prídem. Jeho odpoveď bola veľmi nepríjemná, údaje ich hneď vyhodili a vyhováral sa na sanitarne dôvody. Nech sa nikto nehnevá, ale v dome s mravcami, miernou zatuchlinoh sa idu

• William (10/5): Wonderful B&B with a rooftop pool and in a great location with tremendous value for money! - Casa Lara is tremendous. What a find! Rooftop pool with beautiful views of the sunset, walking distance to all kinds of restaurants and night life, less than 100 yards from a beautiful beach! And just down the road, less than 5 minutes is a great Archaeological Site called El Meco! The room was spacious with outstanding air conditioning. Breakfast was great and we sat on the front porch and enjoyed that meal! Our host was so nice and communicative. Casa Lara is in a gated community so its safe and pleasant to walk around and enjoy. I highly recommend staying here! Nothing really. We might have liked a bit more hot water but that's a bit typical of many places....you have to let the water run a good bit to get warm water for a shower, Very minor inconvenience.

• Monika (10/5): Familiär und so richtig zum Wohlfühlen - Einfach wunderschön familiär und es erwartet einen ein herzliches Willkommen! Der perfekte Einstieg wenn man in Cancún ankommt. Arturo ist super nett, hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich und bereitet mit seiner Mama ein tolles Frühstück. Sehr schönes eingerichtetes Haus mit kleinem Vorgarten, Dachterrasse mit Pool und Zimmer mit Balkon und alles ist perfekt sauber. Das Gemeinschaftsbad fühlt sich fast wie ein eigenes Bad an, da es nur 3 Schritte vom Zimmer entfernt ist und das Haus eh nur 3 Zimmer hat. Der Strand und der Hafen zur Isla Mujeres ist fußläufig erreichbar. Wir haben spontan eine Nacht verlängert.
• Brian (8/5): Cozy little place with lots of character and very close to a nice beach. - The property was walking distance to Playa del Niño, which was a beautiful beach. Arturo was super responsive and helpful in letting me know about transportation to and from the hotel. Parking at the hotel (which was a more like a B&B) was easy. The Kiosco Verde restaurant, which was walking distance or a two minute drive, was excellent. The hotel is in a gated community, which made us feel safe. The surrounding neighborhood is a little sketchy. The pillows were a bit too firm for me and my partner and the double bed was kind of small, but after looking back at my reservation I see that the bed was described in the listing so I can’t fault them for that.

Dit stond wel duidelijk vermeld in de beschrijving hoor ;-). Ik denk alleen dat je nog meer gasten zou kunnen ontvangen met een aparte badkamer aan te bieden.

• Stacey (10/5): - Arturo and Yessica live on property and make you feel very welcomed. They are very responsive to questions and very helpful. Yessica cooks a lovely breakfast every morning and it is delicious. This area is gated and quiet, not touristy. Arturo suggested us to visit the nearby Inglisia Maria Beach church. It's the most beautiful church. He also suggested El Meco ruins, which were beautiful as well and nearby the church. Ultramar Ferry is very close for day trips to either Cozemel or Isla Mujeres. There's a nice beach across the street where you can swim and relax. There are also many restaurants nearby. I recommend Kiosco Verde, it's received Michlen stars 2024 and 2025 and been in business since 1974.

• Pauline (9/5): Génial - J'ai adoré la petite chambre, on se sent vraiment comme à la maison avec tout ce dont on à besoin. La salle de bain commune n'est vraiment pas un problème. Le rooftop avec piscine est juste exeptionnel avec sa vue sur le levé de soleil sur la mer et vue sur la jungle derrière. L'acces à la plage est direct après la rue. Arturo est d'une extrême sympathie il m'a même surclassé une nuit gratuitement, il met tout en œuvre pour vous aider. Il m'a aidé à faire venir une voiture de location directement à la maison ! Mais ce que j'ai adoré c'est vraiment le petit déjeuné tout est fait maison et préparé devant nous avec produit frais ! C'est un délice ! L'emplacement est un peu éloigné du centre je conseil la voiture. En cas de forte pluie tout est inondé et presque inaccessible, beaucoup de moustiques également mais tout cela dépend de la nature et cela ne m'a pas empêché de passer un excellent séjour

• Scherer (9/5): War toll, wir würden wieder kommen. - Wir haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt, das Haus in dem man wohnt ist eingezäunt und generell fühlten wir uns in der Gegend sicher, es sind dort hauptsächlich Einheimische unterwegs. Tolles Bett, tolle Klimaanlage und Artuto ist auch toll. Sehr empfehlenswert. Das einzige was man aussetzen kann ist dass das Frühstück sehr wenig ist. Man wird leider nicht satt aber es war immer sehr lecker. Außerdem wäre es nett gewesen wenn Arturo die Möglichkeit bieten würde dass man seine Wäsche wäscht (also lediglich die Benutzung seiner Waschmaschine). Wir brachten sie dann zu einem Wäscheservice das hat auch gut funktioniert aber kostet Zeit die man als Tourist lieber am Strand verbringen würde.

Dalla colazione alla pulizia quotidiana del bagno, e della camera! Posizione di fronte alla spiaggia, a pochi passi il porto per le uscite delle varie escursioni e con 3 euro (circa) di uber sei in centro Cancun! Niente
• Justine (9/5): Great stay - Lovely place. We only spend one night, between a visit to Mexico City and our return flight to Brussels. We booked a taxi with booking.com. Really worth it. Lovely pool on the roof and excellent breakfast.

• Antje (8/5): - Ruhige Lage, sauber und d sehr freundlicher Besitzer. Komme gerne wieder. Die Lage war super da wir von dort gut auf die Insel Isla Mujeres gekommen sind und auch mit dem Bus zur Hotel Zone.

• Trouttimes (9/5): A wonderful base to explore Cancun, especially if travelling by car - Elegantly furnished apartment, spacious room (Room #3, 2 beds, complete with a big balcony where you can dry your swimers, etc). The full breakfast - fruits, toast, milk, omlets. Plenty of space to park the car right in front / next to the house. The entire villa is gate controlled by the securit staff 24hours. Feels very safe, although Cancun generally is safe enough. (It was not a problem for us because we were travelling by car) but the location is a little out of town (15minutes drive to the city center, shopping malls etc). And from the entrance of the villa to the accomodaiton itself, you would have to walk some 500meters / 5minutes if you do not have a car.
• Henry (9/5): Great price for a true taste of Mexico. - Arturo was great. He was very hospitable and gracious. Cooked breakfast every morning and it was delicious. He was helpful with questions that I had. Wonderful time. The only thing I had an issue with was the shower was very weak. Once I brought it to Arturo's attention he had it corrected and 100%better. Can really say I didn't like anything. It was a nice home away from home. Would stay again and will let friends and family know about it.
