• Talidi (10/5): - Estancia tranquila y el entorno limpio y cómodo. Se puede aparcar fácilmente por la zona y tienes todo cerca para moverte. Sin duda si vuelvo por Málaga ya tengo mi sitio favorito. La responsable es muy amable y servicial. Muy buena experiencia en general. Todo perfecto

Apartament nie był gotowy (o deklarowanej godzinie nie było dla nas kluczy) Straciliśmy 45 min podobnie jak inni goście którzy przybyli o tej samej porze. Obsługa była trudno dostępna - brak kontaktu telefonicznego - jednym sposobem byłą rozmowa za pośrednictwem osoby sprzątającej. Następnego dnia w obiekcie nie było wody - w sytuacji awaryjnej również nie było kontaktu z obsługą.

• Christine (1/5): Un seul conseil à fuir vite - Salle de bain pour dire qu'il y avait quelque-chose de bien et la propreté pour la femme de ménage. L'accueil par interphone avec une personne très désagréable. Arrivées à 17h la personne nous ouvre à 20h après plusieurs désagréments téléphoniques. Il a fallu insisté devant la porte, nous avons appelé la police car nous pensions coucher dehors. Cette personne ne fait pas confiance à la parole de ses clients. Finalement elle fini par ouvrir en insistant encore, là nous trouvons une cuisine sans aucun ustensils (verres, couverts, assiettes... enfin la total) Cette personne a très mauvaise réputation dans le quartier, nous avons eu le temps de voir passer du monde pendant 3h. Après avoir regardé tous les avis, comment booking.com peuvent-ils encore garder une cliente pareille pour sa renommée...nous nous posons la question ❓️ Depuis que nous utilisons l'application jamais nous n'avons eu une telle personne.

Auf Anfrage nach mehr Handtüchern wurden diese zwar zugesagt aber leider nicht geliefert. Unterkunft ist sehr einfach aber zum reinen Übernachten ausreichend.

• Niusha (1/5): Terrible Experience – Do NOT Book This Place! - We reserved this room for two nights specifically because the ad stated it had air conditioning – an absolute must during the summer in Malaga. However, upon arrival, the landlord demanded an additional 6 euros per night for the AC, a charge that was never mentioned in the listing! The next morning, she aggressively confronted us, demanding the extra payment and even threatening to kick us out if we didn’t pay. We refused to pay because this charge was not disclosed in the advertisement. Worse still, when we returned later in the day, we found that she had entered our room without permission and unplugged the AC. To top it off, she still charged us for TWO nights of AC usage! The landlord uses a trick to lower the nightly rate so her listing appears at the top when sorted by price, but then tacks on extra charges for basic amenities like AC after you've already booked. It's deceptive and dishonest.

• Magdalena (3/5): Poor - If you want a relaxed atmosphere in accommodation, avoid this apartment as far as possible. The apartment was full of ants walking on the bed and all our things, we had to wear headphones at night so they wouldn't get into our ears. Air conditioning is paid extra( ???) I barely got two towels( for 3 days) even i say that I needed more towels!!! No showering after 12, air conditioning must not be below 22. The bathroom contains barely one towel, there is nothing on the floor to wipe the floor, BUT there is a cleaning RULE behind it to clean, I just don't know with what to clean,when there is nothing in the bathroom, not a single cleaning cloth! There isn't a single cup,so you can't even make yourself coffee or tea. The landlady is so uncultured and unkind, the woman walks like a dictator around the house and looks to see if someone left a air conditioner on while they went out and most likely charges for it. The camera is everywhere in the house, and in the yard itself, on the road there no smoking,outside(????) I give her hand and say goodbay on the way out and wished her a nice day, and she completely ignore me and angrily ask my husband where the keys to the apartment we had previously left in the room were when leaving. I have never seen such tension and unkindness. The only positive side is a good bed, everything else is horrible. My opinion is that if you rent out rooms, then you must have some kind of culture towards the guests who pay you for those rooms.. I couldn't wait to get out and relax!!

The owner was very rude, didnt respect the checkout time, kicked us out before the checkout. She even threatened to call the police. She was always standing in front of the door with her dogs barking, so we couldnt sleep in peace. She even tried scamming me with getting my credit card and paying to use the AC..

• Marina (9/5): Superb - The house is in a nice and quiet neighborhood, it is easily reachable by car from the airport. Parking is free on the street. The bathrooms are spacious and clean. There is a fridge that can be used by the guests. There is a little garden where I recommend having some drinks in the calm evening, chatting with the host using google translate, if you do not speak German :) Kitchen facilities could be much better. They consist of a fridge, a coffee machine and an electric kettle, but you need to buy your own capsules and tee. There was only one cup there and one knife. No cutlery, no glasses, no bottle opener. Of course if you ask the host, he would help you (they have a fully equipped kitchen in the house), but in our case it was late at night, so we got to open our wine only the next day.

That you have to pay extra for the ac. I mean I can understand that It can get expensive but the rooms are not cheap so I would have expected, that a ac is included.

• Deborah (7/5): Unusual - Good location for airport.Though a little tired in places, the property was very clean and the room is spacious (though basic) offering plenty of wardrobe and storage space. Use of fridge. Tea and coffee making facility. Washing machine(at extra cost). Paying €6 extra per day to use aircon in 30°+ heat. (It was a surprise as I understood this was no longer legal in Spain to do this with holiday rentals). The rule of not permitting shower use after 12am was unreasonable as we had an early morning flight . Considerable street noise from traffic even in the early hours. Not ideal for infirm as access is up some stairs and no assistance offered with luggage.

The staff is so rude and aggressive and my stay was horrible! I only liked that they provided me with a chocolate bar 🍫 in my room! The staff, the lady and the guy are rude and aggressive. They don’t speak any English. They ask for extra charge for air conditioning which want mentioned in the booking and also they ask for 20€ extra charge for being 5 min late after 11 am check out time!
• Davy (9/5): Superb - - Location very close to the bus stop straight to the center of Malaga or the beach. - Staff was very friendly - Cute dog at the property - They should do better checks on the guests from the other rooms. Some of the other guests didn't clean after themselves. For example one night the bathroom floor was all wet and the person didn't dry it, also one time the people from the opposite room warmed up pizza in the microwave and didn't clean the microwave after, it was sticky with cheese. So I think the people should be held responsible for it. But other than that I have no complaints.

My room was in the ground floor,right in front of the terrace and I was not even able to open the window because people were sitting just in front of window. Even though house rules say that noise is prohibited before 9am and after 12pm, there were people sitting in the terrace and smoking and talking loudly outside those hours, I would not be annoyed if it was not just right in front of my window, but now it felt like they were literally sitting and talking in my room. They owner is very nice, but communication is a bit hard, as he does not know English/Spanish. Check-In process is not very clear, you do not get the exact instructions, how to check-in.
• Katerina (3/5): Quite a decent accommodation, good price:performance ratio, awful attitude of the cleaning staff. - The description matches reality, the bathroom and room were clean. At the arrival, the owner was even that kind to help me park my van, which was definitely useful as the villa uses the free parking spots on the street and it can be quite an adventure to park a large vehicle in the narrow streets. The property rules read check-out until 11 am and optional extension until 1pm upon demand for € 20. In the morning, I packed all my stuff, left them in the room and went to the city. I got slightly lost on my way back, but came in anyway at 11 sharp. A cleaning lady blocked access to the room, arguing that she had sent me a message (in Spanish only) and that it's 11 already. She refused to let me in and pick up my luggage unless I pay her the extra € 20. I reckon coming at the very last moment, but I'd definitely expected some understanding. I left literally disgusted.

The reality is not like the listing. Lots of additional fees and the amenities listed did not match what we got. Luckily we went when it was not too hot because AC is an additional fee daily. It is also very far from the city center but that’s on us for not researching more. Our room unfortunately the room smelled like smoke from the front yard. There’s a lot of cameras. Something to consider.

• Melinda (5/5): Additional 6 euro for aircon - Comfortable bed, very clean, quiet suburban area albeit 25 mins by bus to centro and 8 euro by taxi from train station Like many other people who stayed at Villa Patricia I found the host to be rude. As a solo traveller I felt very uncomfortable staying there after an uncomfortable email exchange. I asked where the aircon remote was as I had a cold/flu and needed to stay warm. She informed me that it was an extra 6 euro night on top of the room fee. When I said I couldn't afford that per night ( on top of the 60 euro room fee plus 8 euro taxi fare) she suggested in no uncertain terms that I should get rugged up in my pjs and that I had no reason to.complain as it was all written ( buried in the detail) in the description. At that point, I wasn't even complaining, just asking. My suggestion is that if aircon is available, add it into a higher price for the room as not everyone reads every little detail.

• Federica (5/5): Comfy bed, not much else to recommend. - The room is big, the bed is very comfy, and it has a nice garden in the front. These are pretty much the good things about this property. First of all, the host is a very unpleasant woman. She seemed nice when I arrived, but was not around when I had something to ask her or that I needed. On the morning I was leaving, she knocked at my door at 10.30 (as I was obviously packing) asking if I was "staying an extra day or what". I replied that check out time was 11, and I was finishing to pack my bag. She replied "Maximum 11", which I found extremely arrogant - if you want people to leave earlier, just change the check out time! Then as I was leaving she had the guts to ask me "if I had not slept well". You would expect something much better from a person dealing with customers all day. She also barely speaks any English, just so you know. In general, I would say it is not a great value for money accommodation. It is super far from the city center, which was not too big of an issue for me as I had a car, but keep it in mind when booking. The place comes with a million limitations (you have to pay SIX EUROS a day if you want air conditioning, etc). Also, no kitchen, no sink, nothing, just a fridge. At this price, you would expect to be able to at least boil some water for a tea. There are also cameras everywhere, so if you are not comfortable with that, consider yourself warned. Finally, smoking is strictly forbidden anywhere in the property, but that did not seem to apply to a guy that seemed to live there (the owner's son, or boyfriend?) who would be constantly smoking in front of my window for the entirety of my stay.

She hung up the phone on my face. I decided not to spend my night at Villa Patricia. Please avoid to go there especially if you are not sure if you arrive before midnight.

• Marcia (7/5): Good - Very comfortable beds and pillows, nice spacious and clean room with big tv. Easy to get to. Perfect for our short stay before an early morning flight. Didn't have a chance to use the terrace but it looked lovely. Some info was not communicated and I was woken up with a demand to know where the air conditioning money (€6) was (no one told me I had to pay it BEFORE so I had assumed it was at checkout). Also it's self check-in yet I was accused of arriving 30 mins later than I actually did for some unknown reason (which would have incurred extra cost). If you stay here I suggest messaging as soon as you arrive so there is documented evidence; it unfortunately ended quite upsettingly and I lost an important hour of sleep I needed. Note also its a shared bathroom so while it was all very clean, they can't control dirtiness left by other guests (and the sink was quite disgusting).

I was especially unhappy because I had already made clear I wanted air conditioning before arrival, but the host had hidden the remote control for it. The room was an absolute oven and it was extremely hard to sleep in a 30 degrees + room. The host replied slowly, a bit rude and only in the middle of the night, hours after I sent my question. Also, it seems like everything is about money. She has a list of house rules and it feels like breathing in a wrong manner is enough to land you a “fine”. Finally, the listing on Booking.com mentions 24/7 reception but I have not seen anyone during our stay. There is no reception, unlike what the booking.com listing says. Paying a €10 fee for arriving after 00:00 despite it being self check-in is also ridiculous.

I expected more and overall feel I did not get enough for my money. Overpriced. Won´t stay again.
