• Karen (8/5): Good location - We liked the location of the apartment and the comfort of the beds. If was easy to get the instructions to access the apartment and a young woman met us to give us the keys. The neighborhood was a little noisy at night because we had our windows open for cooler air. There were patio restaurants nearby and it was a Friday and Saturday night.
• Diana (6/5): Location was great. Lots of restaurants nearby and metro was within walking distance. - There was no breakfast. Location was excellent. Communication was poor. If you were using AI it was unresponsive to my questions. The lady looking after the place was rather erratic.
• Davina (9/5): A lovely stay in a lovely neighborhood :) - The location was fantastic and easy to find with public transport nearby and charming cafe, bars and restaurants within a 5-10 min walk. The room was clean and comfy and had lots of lovely benefits such as a coffee machine (caramel flavour was so nice) and a microwave. The only thing missing is a full length mirror but otherwise it’s perfect!

• Aleksandra (8/5): - Sama lokacija je jako dobra posto je u neposrednoj blizini metro stanice, tramvaja, brojnih restorancica, barova. lako smo se snalazili i kretali po gradu, takodje dolazak sa aerodroma nije komplikovan. Dopalo nam se sto smo imali obezbedjen kafe aparat i ketler, pa smo mogli pripremati tople napitke. U stanu postoji manji frizider, sasvim dovoljhan za par dana boravka, kao i osnovni sudovi, case, tanjiri, escajg. Iza ugla ima mala bakalnica pa smo mogli kupiti voce i stvari za dorucak. U stanu postoje 2 radijatora pa je moguce i grejanje ako vam je hladno. Nema klima uredjaja ali vidim da postoji ventilator, verovatno za toplije dane. Obratite paznju da apartman nema sredstva za kupanje, sampon, balzam pa sve to treba poneti. Takodje, nije moguce da ostavite kofere pre check in-a ili nakon check out-a, sto realno znaci da morate da vucete kofer sa sobom po gradu, sto svakako nije srecno resenje za rane dolaske i kasne odlaske. Vlasnica nije bas azurna u odgovaranju na poruke i neke od informacija koje sam dostavila ranije nije videla ili mi nije odgovorila do dan pred put da li je moguce ranije uci u smestaj.

• Juan Bautista (10/5): Un apartamento agradable en un barrio maravilloso con anfitriones atentos a todo - El apartamento está en el corazón de un barrio precioso y animado, el equilibrio perfecto entre turismo y la vida cotidiana de la ciudad. La habitación tenía todo lo básico, lo mejor un edredón maravilloso y una agradable terracita donde salir a tomar un café. Mención aparte merecen los anfitriones, atentos a todo y muy agradables, dispuestos a ayudar en todo momento. Nos hicieron sentir como en casa.
• Janet Helena (10/5): Pijp area is perfect place to explore the city - We wandered to a local cafe for breakfast. There were plenty in the area. The room itself had a coffee machine, fridge & kettle which was useful. The fridge was great as on one of the days we visited a local food market & ate lunch in our room as the local delicacies were sublime. Everything was great- the hosts were very friendly & helpful.
• Ricardo (10/5): Great place in Amsterdam - As I told the owners, Paul & Mariana, I had an excellent stay. They were very helpful and responded quickly whenever needed. I was traveling alone, but the property is a great size—clean and cozy. The shower was very good, better than in other places I’ve stayed, and the bathroom was quite large as well, with an additional hair dryer. Some guests might miss having a heater in the bathroom, but I didn’t feel the need for it during my stay. Additionally, the bed, the four pillows, and the blanket were all very comfortable. Another plus is the coffee maker with some snacks and teas, which I thought was a very thoughtful touch. As a bonus, the De Pijp neighborhood is very interesting—close to tourist areas while still maintaining its local charm.

• Macleod (7/5): Nice room in a good location for a short stay. - No breakfast. The coffee pods seemed a bit stale so we used our own coffee. The room was clean and comfortable and the owner and the person who let us in very helpful. We liked the neighbourhood and it was a short walk to the Metro for the city centre. I felt that the photographs gave the impression of more than one room ie that the table and chairs and the kitchen area were a separate room from the beds. I would have liked a separate space to sit in/put the light on/listen to the radio/do my morning exercises while my friend was still sleeping. The room was pretty clean but we found a few items under the beds as they had not been moved apart for cleaning.

The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into every detail to make the apartment comfortable and welcoming. One thing I especially loved was the beautiful fragrance in the apartment. I loved it so much that I had to get it for my home as well. Truly a lovely place to stay and very thoughtfully arranged, it can be seen that the hosts value their guests' experience.

• Nieves (7/5): Correcto para una corta estancia en Amsterdam - Buena ubicación próximo al metro y algunos tranvías. La cama es de las más cómodas en las que he dormido. Con poco más de podría mejorar mucho la estancia: poner un espejo más grande en el baño, artículos de aseo básicos o dejar un par de bolsas de basura fuera de la papelera. Otra cosa que no me gustó fueron los ruidos que se oían porque la puerta daba a la escalera de subida.

• David (6/5): I love de Pijp, but loud boisterous bar customers from the corner made the evenings difficult. - Great location in de Pijp The apartment is 4 houses in from the corner, where there is a bar. Every evening there were loud voices carousing in the street until at least 23:00-23:30. One night there was an actual street fight in front of the building. All this made it very difficult to sleep.

• Eric (10/5): A Wonderful Stay in a Wonderful City. - The surrounding area is a cool neighborhood of restaurants, markets and stores. The room was modern with everything we needed. The staff was very helpful, providing us with suggestions as to what see and do during our short two day stay. Like most small hotels in Europe there is no elevator. But we only had to go up one flight of stairs so not a big deal to us.

• Amy (7/5): Comfortable, well situated and good for those who can use earplugs. - The location was great, and I felt very comfortable moving around the neighborhood. The place was very clean, and I was glad to have teas and some snacks to choose from. The bed was comfortable, and the shower, although small, had excellent pressure with plenty of hot water. The description doesn’t mention this, but there is a microwave, plates, utensils glasses and mugs. It would have been nice to know what it meant to have a room on the street side of the house. There was a bar very close by, and people were loud, sometimes right under the window. If you are a light sleeper, this may not be your place. I was up until 2am listening to a neighbor converse with friends in the street one night.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and always available for any questions or requests. One of the highlights is definitely the location – it’s in a great, strategic spot to get around Amsterdam easily, with many restaurants and public transport options nearby. Overall, a solid choice for anyone visiting the city
• Wendy (10/5): Exceptional - Everything! The location was excellent, you can walk or take public transit anywhere you want to go. You get to see what a real Dutch neighborhood is like and yet you are a 15 min walk from the museums, parks and canals. The area is very quiet but also vibrant and handy to many wonderful coffee shops and restaurants. The room itself is quiet, bright and comfortable with french doors leading out to the balcony which is large enough to sit on. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, we had the best sleeps of our trip! The owners have thought of everything and I would not hesitate to recommend this room. Nothing!
• Susanna (7/5): Nice but noisy place - Everything was very well organized There was a lot of noise from the owner downstairs and the people outside in front of the house so for work if you need to sleep well I wouldn’t recommend this place. Nevertheless the location and the room were excellent.
• Marina (9/5): Superb - The location is very nice, there's transport in proximity but the streer itself is quiet and nice. The studio is not big but cosy with enough space to move around and lots of storage space as well. The little balkony is a good bonus too. The beds were comfy, and the curtains are thick enough to block out the morning light. The hosts are very nice and friendly people, we were able to check-in at a convenient hour and then left our bags at their place next door for a couple of hours after the checkout to enjoy the city luggage-free. The shower drain was a bit slow. The room floor is creaky, which may be a problem if you travel together, and one person needs to get up at night while the other one is a light sleeper. But during the day it's hardly noticeable
• Doron (7/5): Great location and comfortable stay, some service quality issues. - Location is very good from which to explore Amsterdam. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Host were willing to let us drop off our luggage when we arrived at 12pm before our rooms were ready. Nice touch to have snacks and hot drinks supplies available in the rooms. No shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided (we were notified of this in advance, but the reality was that we needed to do a 20-minute run to a 24-hr supermarket at 10:30pm to spend EUR20 on these supplies). Hosts were out of town so we had no ability to leave our luggage in storage for a few extra hours after check-in - had to store luggage at central train station for EUR30. Local contact person for service didn't respond to inquiries made later in the evening (after 9 or 10pm), responded after 9am the following day.
• Jon (7/5): Good - Quiet, yet central location. Friendly owners, local facilities ie restaurants, market, super markets, metro, trams and walkable to Amsterdam centre. Zero cooking facilities, limited toiletries, cramped and limited clothes storage.

• Kai-uwe (8/5): Very good value for your money - The hosts were very helpful and even made us something to eat because of our very late arrival due to a flight delay. The location is ideal for this price range in Amsterdam. The automated communication after booking is very confusing and (fortunately) does not reflect reality. The standard text keeps reappearing at irregular intervals (even when checking out) and warns that after 8 p.m., you can only check in by special arrangement and for an extra charge. This led me to notify the hosts about our flight delay every half hour because I was worried about our status and whether we would be able to check in. When we arrived, we realised that the hosts live in the house... All unnecessary.
• Catalina (8/5): Good place for a solo stay - Lovely location in a cool neighbourhood. Great to have a balcony and I enjoyed the snacks left for me. Place was clean and they let me check in early. The girl who met me there to give me the key was really friendly and helped me get my bag up the stairs. I could hear everything from adjoining rooms/apartments and the courtyard, even footsteps and quiet conversations. The place to hang your clothes and the mirror in the bathroom are only useful if you’re over 6 foot tall (which I am not)
• Amikebous (7/5): Clean, nice neighborhood, expensive for what it is - The room was clean and the location was good (in the sense that it was a nice neighborhood away from the touristic mess happening in the city). They were kind enough to allow me a late checkout The room is really tiny. In addition, when you pay more than 150 per night you deserve to have something to wash yourself. There was no shampoo, shower gel because there is some weird self-catering (or something) policy. Also the checkin experience was a bit weird, the person who accepted us was a bit strange.

• Scott (9/5): Quiet rooms in a perfect location - This is a very nice room in a great location. De Pijp is such a wonderful neighbourhood to stay in - lively and full of locals with many great restaurants for food and drinks. Easy to walk to the central area and there are several public transport options as well. The owner and their "ghost host" were both very friendly and helpful. The room (Old Pijp) is very quiet and private with a small balcony and a well-sized bathroom. Comfortable bed and many amenities available in the room. The only issue I had was that the room wasn't ready at check in time, due to an issue with the previous guest leaving the key in the wrong location. This was not a big deal to me, except that it would have been nice if the host communicated this to me before I arrived as we were already in contact by WhatsApp. I was looking forward to a shower and a quick nap after an overnight flight, and I had to wait about 45 minutes before I could check in. If this was communicated in advance, I would have scored 10/10. Shampoo and soap/body wash would also be a nice thing to add to the room's amenities.

• Brett (8/5): Decent enough. - The location was close to a metro stop as well as a tram stop. Great ice cream place Massimo a block away as well as several coffee shops. Room was very small and I understand that Amsterdam accommodations are expensive this seemed a little pricey for the size of the room and the general accommodations of the apartment.
• William (10/5): Exceptional - I rarely bother to write reviews of any kind online (and I've stayed in countless properties across the city) - but this property was such a magnificent experience that I simply had to. It gives you the perfect - and heavy emphasis on perfect - platform from which to take in the wonderfully authentic and beautiful side of Amsterdam both for new and experienced visitors to the city alike. Quiet, but simultaneously very central. Historical and beautiful - and yet with amazingly efficient and practical local infrastructure. Additionally - the incredibly wholesome, warm and kind owners add nothing but the best possible reassurance for the stay to be successful. A fantastic place - a true gem. I can't recommend the apartment enough! Hope to be back one day. Nothing, it was objectively brilliant in more ways than I could've expected.

Memory foam mattress (medium firmness). Coffee, tea, snacks, and fridge. So much to do around and explore. Would stay here again! Walls are thin, slept with earplugs and was totally fine though.

One downside is the stairs.. if you have luggage it can be a challenge although the host helped with the bags on arrival. Another thing is that there is no Nespresso machine although it is stated in the description, but the host offered to give me their own Nespresso machine. the stairs, sometime noisy with neighbors being too close

Paul and Mariana's attentiveness to our needs was commendable, particularly their prompt provision of extra pillows, in our case. One of the apartment's crowning jewels was its stunning view. Nestled in a picturesque neighborhood, it provided a serene backdrop to our mornings and evenings, allowing us to soak in the unique beauty of Amsterdam right from our window. The thoughtful touches of herbal teas and sweet treats as a welcome gift were much appreciated. It was a delightful and heartwarming gesture that made us feel at home instantly. The bathroom, with its spacious shower, was a warming retreat. Lastly, the location of the apartment could not have been better. It was ideally positioned for us to explore Amsterdam, with easy access to local attractions, dining, and shopping areas. While our overall experience was truly delightful, if we were to suggest a minor improvement, it would be the inclusion of basic amenities like shampoo in the apartment.

There is only one sink in the bathroom so not very practical for dishes but for a short stay it's not a problem.

• Peter (9/5): Superb - Presented exactly as advertised with a few extras. It's an excellent location with nearby restaurants and bars, also near a high street with usual facilities. The room was comfortable with all typical amenities you need. We were pleased to find netflix on the TV and most importantly, coffee and stroopwafels provided. Host also went above and beyond by providing some local recommendations for places to eat and drink. Would have been useful to have some shower gel/toothpaste provided but they were clear it wasn't included so came prepared with our own.
