- Sophie (10/5): I had a great stay and Toni was a fantastic host. -
- Manuel (10/5): - Hermoso lugar.
- Brygida (10/5): - Garden
- Elizabeth (10/5): A cozy home and beautiful garden with helpful hosts. - We loved our stay at Jardin de Naipi and wish we had more time. The home and garden are lovely. Elena and Claudia were helpful and communicative. I would definitely recommend this place and if I ever come back to Iguazú would happily stay here again.
- Nicoletta (10/5): Exceptional - The house is super beautiful and comfortable and it really feels like home immediately. The kitchen is well equipped, rooms and bathroom super clean and beds comfortable, our room even had air conditioning. Elsa is the most friendly and welcoming host. I personally like that it is not in the center, I like the more natural, tranquil places. And walking or taking the bus to the center is fairly easy. Nothing could have been better. Thank you Elsa! Everything was perfect
- Annika (10/5): Exceptional - Location is walking distance from the city center, but you can also take a bus. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Plus the owner has the cutest dogs!
- Jade (10/5): Exceptional - This piece of paradise is one of the best places we’ve stayed in our 14 month trip around S.America. On the edge of town, a short walk from a bus stop and the point where the river divides Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil (great to go down for sunset), this accommodation feels like it’s in the jungle. Everywhere you look it is green and full of birds and the balcony with hammocks and chairs is the perfect place to relax and take it all in. It’s a 25 minute walk into town in a local area with shops a 2 minute walk away. Elsa is a lovely host and we enjoyed chatting with her. She has lots of information about the area and how to visit Iguazu falls. The house is a home with a lovely living room to enjoy, a fully stocked kitchen and toiletries and towels are provided. We extended our stay and could’ve stayed for a lot longer.
- Mariella (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diana (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely amazing. Elsa is a great host and her house is so beautiful and cozy.
- Oliver (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna-marie (10/5): Exceptional - It was like home from home, but with hammocks!
Regarding shared bathrooms, The house has 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and 2 toilets. The hostess lives next door
Elsa was most helpful in helping plan the next part of the journey
- Susanna (10/5): Exceptional - It exceeded our expectations! Nice ad comfy room, shared bathroom was clean and spatious, the living room and terrace are is just amazing, even better than the pictures! They were very responsive and helped us find the place and check in earlier. They also gave us useful recommendations for the Iguazu falls :) We'd have loved to stay a couple more days! The place is not in the center but it is a 15 min walk max. and it is quieter because of it.
- Siao (9/5): Superb - Very clean, comfy house and friendly owner.
I enjoyed my stay here. Nothing
- Sebastian (10/5): relaxing and amazing place - it’s nice area, very calm and silent and there are grocery stores, restaurants and public transportation one or two blocks away.
- Locq (10/5): Exceptional - Our host, Toni, was super nice ! He gave us all the infos we needed to go to the falls and into the city. The bus stops are close by for the Argentina side.
The space is clean and there is everything you need. We cooked there (ask where the gas line is) and enjoyed our little but very cosy room ! Nothing to say. Just be mindful that it is not in the center so you'll need to walk a bit to eat outside
- Karleen (9/5): Lovely house in jungle garden - Lovely house in jungle garden. No luxury but spacious, homey and colorful. Clean, comfortable bedroom. Cosy living room and great little balcony with hammocks to enjoy the (relatively) cool mornings and birds singing. I had the shared bathroom to myself, a bit run down, but next to the bedroom, very clean and spacious, and all the supplies you need. Practical shared kitchen. Good wifi. Within easy walking of Hita tres fronteras viewing point.
Friendly welcome by the son Toni, who waited up long for my late arrival. He speaks fluent English.
Tip: There are some small places to find food the whole day, on the main road to your right, about 12 minutes walking from the house one block right from the bus shelter, across the hotel Pirayu. Lilium coffee house serves great breakfasts, desserts and from 5pm small dinners (the main restaurants open late, some even after 9pm and as a single woman I didn't want to walk in the dark).
I paid in dollars (no cards accepted) and got change in pesos at a very good rate. No real minus but things you have to be aware of.:
As expected its far from the centre. The bus stop is an easy 7 minutes walk away (look for the green bus shelter on the main road to your right) taking you straight to the centre and falls. But I found it hard to get back from the centre, I had to search long for the right stop: it's right in front of the big panaderia across the road from the bus terminal. There's no bus shelter, only a sign...I had to wait for 40 minutes in full sun, no shade available...Ask the bus driver for the direction Hitos tres fronteras.
The bedroom is very hot too, i slept very well, waking up to beautiful burd song, because I can support the heat very well but most people would find it suffocating on summer nights.
Elsa the host was out of the country. I didn't see Toni (or any other guests) for 2 days. I could ask questions via WhatsApp but missed someone to talk to to get more info during my stay. We had a nice chat the morning I left though😙
- Alexander (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andreea (10/5): Wonderful place and a very kind host - This place is amazing! It has such a beautiful garden and a terrace with swings, hammocks and chairs from where you can chill, while watching the birds. Also, the rest of the house is very nicely decorated, so that it gives a warm, cozy atmosphere.
The host Elsa is a lovely lady, so kind, positive and accomodating!
