The bed is comfortable but very low to the floor so a bit difficult to get in and out of (especially after hiking up to the castle).

• Giovanna Paninforni (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay here! The apartment was comfortable, huge, clean, and very central. Air conditioning was working, we had a terrace with drying rack, dishwasher, fully equipped kitchen, big tv in the living room area and washing machine. Private garage was also great to have as we left our car while we went on a day trip to Lumi i Shales. (By the way, if you're going for the day, the pick up point is like 3 mins away!) Nearby we found restaurants, money exchange shop and supermarket. It's right above a restaurant as well but it's not noisy at all. Google maps sent us down a cul-de-sac road when we inputted the restaurant address for commodity so be careful to put the road in the navigator! Highly recommended!! Top points for having a bidet :) Communal spaces could be better looked after but this doesn't impact at all the experience.

Staff/owners were great, communicated with us with all the details, gave us recommendations for places to visit, trips to go on and restaurants to try. When leaving they let us leave the car in their parking spot for extra time when we asked. Nothing to dislike. It was perfect.

• Christopher (8/5): Very good - Clean, comfortable and central. Ideal for an overnight stop. Shkodër was a delight. The instructions for finding the place were confusing. We were coming from Berati(south) and not Tivat. The number is difficult to find and so GPS would help. Look for Aroma Fish restaurant as the apartment is above it.

Flat clean with everything we needed, and with lovely balcony. All was good. Only thing :we generally missed garbage recycling in Albania.
