• Katia (10/5): 7 min from the city center, quiet and comfortable - Actually the apartment was located much closer to the city center in respect to the address that was indicated on booking.com. they sent a message to make sure you contact them to get the instructions on how to get to the apartment and how to meet for the keys. The house was in a very quiet area despite around the corner from street Bazar.

Il palazzo è molto trasandato e la porta è costantemente aperta , fortunatamente arrivando in camera la situazione migliora eccetto per la puzza di fogna che esce dal WC.
• Gerti (10/5): Excellent location to explore Tirana - Located on one of the most emblematic streets of Tirana. And in one of the safest areas of Tirana. The building is old, built in the 1950s-1960s, which is why the building does not have an elevator. But a little exercise never hurt us. When we run 10-15 km a day and walk 20-25 km a day. And a climb to the 5th floor is not a big deal. The interior of the room is renovated and furnished, it looks better than in the photos. A very comfortable spot on the 5th floor and away from the noise of the city's daily life, an ideal place after a tiring day of sightseeing in Tirana. The agency that managed it was punctual, the host Besa was very polite and professional. The most important thing should not be forgotten, what a very economical price this service comes with. Very good Wifi service. Keep in mind you can never find home conditions when you travel. If everything was perfect then why would we miss home after every trip or experience. Everything went perfectly. I was satisfied! Congratulations on the initiative you have created and the beautiful work you have done!

• Piotr (1/5): - Chciałbym wszystkich przestrzec przed właścicielem i tym apartamentem zarezerwowaliśmy to miejsce z żoną 14.10.25 na cztery noce niestety po przyjeździe okazało się że to miejsce to jest jakis żart , apartamenty mieści się w budynku do którego wejście jest w opłakanym stanie straszny brud i smród pokój wygląda bardzo podobnie brudno i straszny smród z kanalizacji. Spędziliśmy tam tylko jedna noc z czterech za które zapłaciliśmy rano bardzo szybko się stamtąd wyprowadziliśmy. Po kontakcie z właścicielem i wysłaniem zdjęć i filmów z wszystkim , zaproponowaliśmy zwrot połowy kosztów chociaż powinniśmy zadać zwrotu całości . Niestety właściciel nie poczuł się do jakiej kolejek odpowiedzialności za to z czym nas zostawił . Żeby było tego mało rezerwacja było dokonana przez booking.com i właściciel anulował nasza rezerwację bojąc się odpowiedzialności pisząc że w ogóle się nie pojawiliśmy w apartamencie. Na szczęście mogę wystawić tą opinię i przestrzec wszystkich . Szkoda pieniędzy i czasu.

Hun reden daarvoor voelt niet geloofwaardig en zij hadden dit vooraf moeten communiceren.

• Camila (1/5): MAL DEPARTAMENTO. PESIMA ATENCIÓN Y POCO CONFIABLE LA GENTE QUE TE ESCRIBE Y EL LUGAR - Nada. Realmente decepcionante. No recomiendo Me cambiaron de ubicacion de Departamento unos minutos antes diciendo que era un “upgrade” y cuando estaba en la puerta nadie me respondia donde era exactamente la ubicacion. QUERIAN QUE CANCELARA LA RESERVA EN BOOKING para quedarse con el otro departamento. Tardaron en contestarme y llegaron tarde. El lugar muy poco confiable, se entra por una cochera en pesimas condiciones. El depto sucio, había ropa en el lavaropa y un balde de basura.

A peine j'ai posé mon sac dans la chambre que je suis harcelée de messages et appels car il y a eu un problème avec ma carte de crédit non mise à jour. J'ai vraiment eu l'impression d'être une clandestine rentrée illégalement dans le logement en prenant la clé dans la boîte à clé. Un jeune homme sympa et très gêné a déboulé environ 20 minutes après mon arrivée pour récupérer le cash.. En visio avec la propriétaire... Personne ne s'est présenté au checking ce matin, donc je suis partie. Je ne recommande pas du tout ce logement. Je suis une voyageuse régulière, hôtesse Airbnb dans ma maison et jamais je n'ai connu un tel désagrément...

Wir konnten ohne probleme eine Nacht länger bleiben obwohl unser Zimmer schon ausgebucht war. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und geräumig. Wie auf den Bildern.

• Richard (5/5): Not as advertised but still OK - While the room and location was not as described, the room was clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower and hot water were good. We had a small balcony. There was a lift in the building. The apartments were located on the second floor. There was a shared kitchenette for 5 or so rooms. The location of the property was different than advertised…10 minute walk different. We had to meet someone at a coffee shop for them to direct us to the location. Once at the location, we were asked to cancel our reservation on Booking. I declined because I would not be able to leave a review otherwise. The room was advertised with a kitchenette and washing machine. Kitchenette was actually a shared kitchenette and no washing machine. There was no daily cleaning or change of towels.

• Julie (8/5): A nice bright apartment in an old building in good location - The apartment in an old building is lovely, light and bright. It has been stylishly done up inside. The bed is comfortable and there’s a nice ambience to the apartment. I got the apartment on a big last minute discount, so for me it was very good value . Everything was very clean and sheets were nice. It was a little disappointing that the washing machine in the apartment was broken and was told I should have mentioned I wanted to use one on arrival. No one said it was broken. The communal ones outside the apartment were in constant use. People with disabilities or with a bike should note that there are 84 steps to get to the apartment without elevator on the 5th floor and the first two levels could use some lightening and brightening!

The girl who checked us in, Kristina, was really nice and sweet and gave us all the informations we needed to enjoy our stay in Tirana. If we ever come back, we will definetely choose this place again.

• Carlos (8/5): Convenient sleepover during business trip - The place is clean and quiet, close to bus stop for the central bus station and to the airport. Close to the city centre of Tirana and surranded by all necessary ammenities. Nothing really. Perhaps is a bit expensive for the standards in Albania and you cannot pay with credit card.

• Luana (5/5): Convenient but smelly - The location of the place was ideal, right in the center of everything and easy to find. The host also met us straight away and showed us to our room. I think it's an issue in the area in general but there was a sewage smell coming out of the drain in the bathroom which was very unpleasant. Another main issue was the front door to the apartment had been ripped of its hinges which is kind of scary because it means anyone can walk in at any time however there were two doors going into the apartment, the key was a bit dodgy for one of the doors though so have to be stern.

• Genti (6/5): Good area but very overrated for the quality of the room - The boy from the staff that welcomed us was very kind. The place itself is not a studio and in the pictures it looks more spacious but it is quite a small place, it is actually a former apartment divided into 3 rooms. the parquet is of such bad quality that when you want to enter the bathroom, the door is blocked. in the bathroom every morning from the ventilation comes the smell of food (probably it is wrongly connected to a kitchen on the other side), something strange. and in the bathroom, if you take a shower, all the water spreads everywhere. The TV is mounted oddly, not towards the bed so that you can watch it, but face to face with the wardrobe.

There's everything one needs for a short stay in Tirana, and it's perfectly located close to most of the city's main attractions. What sets it apart, however, is the customer service. Kimberly is incredile attentive, she helped organizing a taxi from the airport and made my stay super easy and wonderful. If you're looking for a special stay in Tirana, look no further. Thank you for everything, Kimberly! Nothing!

• Cyriane (10/5): Lovely appartment in the center of Tirana - There was plenty of space in the appartment, the kitchen had all the amenities needed and everything was clean. Klevisa gave me a warm welcome and showed me the appartment upon arrival, she was very nice and super helpful - she even sent me a guidebook with all the useful information for my stay. I've really enjoyed my stay there, hoping to visit again soon. Only downside I can think of is that there was no door to the shower, so the water was everywhere on the bathroom floor - but it's a detail.

• Hovadová (10/5): Great choice and definitely would book again. - Oh, the best best thing on this whole stay was the communication with the "owner." This apartment belongs to Choose Balkans which is Albanian Tour Operator (which I later found out). But first thing first... the day before our arrival they contacted me via WhatsApp offered some tips and tricks and asked about our arrival time. In the end, we arrived much later (around 22:00) than we told them but it did not matter because they had already sent me a detailed video and instructions about how to self-check in and with that it was really easy! The next day they contacted me when and how would I like to pay or when I be at the apartment so they could collect the payment. When I told them that I was not sure when I would be back they offered me to pay at their office which was pretty close to the apartment so that was really convenient because we could stop by basically any time (check their opening hours) and pay by card. Another great thing was that we could leave our bags at their office after check out because our plane was leaving late in the evening. And the cherry on top was that when we found out that Tirana airport does not accept flight tickets on phones they printed our boarding passes for us!!! Overall our stay was really really pleasant. The apartment was just like the photos, nice area close to everything, clean, comfy beds, nice view... And my biggest thanks belong to KIMBERLY from Choose Balkans who helped us with everything and had the fastest replies on WhatsApp I have ever seen <3 I did not mind any of these but someone will maybe appreciate our insights: the appartment is on 5th floor with no elevator and it is also right next to some similar rooms and if you got noisy neighbours your stay could become really uncomfortable. Also the washing machine was shared with all the neighboring appartmens and it was always in use from someone else :D

• Michal (10/5): Exceptional - The communication with the house's owner was on point starting from one day before arrival. Everything was nicely explained and easy to follow via WhatsApp. The most valuable part was the video demonstrating how to get to the apartment, which can sometimes be tricky in Albania. Great location and a nice modern apartment with all the facilities needed. All super fancy bars are within 5-10 minutes of walking distance. Nothing more to say.
• Simona (10/5): Exceptional - The room is nice, has a lot of space and is equipped with a small kitchen, fridge, and laundry. It isn't designed for a long stay but is convenient if you want to keep snacks, water or instant coffee (which you have to provide). But there are welcoming teabags. The bed is comfortable and the look is nice. The staff is very kind and available. It's also very central 5th floor without elevator... The shower is a bit uncomfortable and you end up wetting all the floor and toilet after showering. They should provide a little shelf for your belongings above the sink as it has little space.

• Mai (6/5): Pleasant - In the city center We got fast response - The building looks sketchy a bit.. - it is obviously managing by an airbnb company. In Albania I got no trouble giving 1 eur = 100 lek, in every kind of hotels from bnb to 5 stars ( I was in Sarande, Ksamil, Gjirokaster) but apparently here they give you their own and higher rate just because we gave them lek, when the staff paid me back he gave me less but in EUR :) - The address on booking is incorrect. - bathroom looks a bit sad
• Filipe (7/5): Good - Perfect location to visit Tirana. Easy communication with the staff, which made sure that everything was ready for our arrival providing useful information (good English level). The room is on a 4th floor in an apartment converted into several individual rooms. The building where the apartment/rooms are located does not have an elevator (which was fine in our case) but might be problematic in case you have mobility problems. The room has all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay in Tirana. A flat TV is available (but it did not work as it had no channels available). A small electric hob (2 units), a kettle and dishes and glasses. The staff was very kind to leave a bottle of water as well as some solvable coffee/tea. As for the city, Tirana is really safe (even during the night), I was in Tirana 7 years ago and you could see that the city has blossomed, new skyscrapers are appearing in the center, people are very friendly and interested in knowing about you. English is widely spoken, and Italian might be useful with older people as a back-up option. Cost of living is still low, even though I noticed a significant increase in the cost of meals for example. Most places accept euros as payment, and card (Visa or Mastercard) is widely accepted. The best way to organize your travel is to carry some Lek already from home and have some euros to exchange whenever needed (sometimes you'll need it - for example in transports -buses). As for transport from the airport use the airport transfer bus, cheap and efficient for internet try to get a Vodafone e-sim (it will make your life much easier). Hope that this will be of help! Even though everything was fine, we could notice some problems in the ceiling with mold. The curtains are not very helpful as the room would get really bright even though they were closed. Another thing that was a bit annoying was the construction work near by that would start really early in the day. Still all of this did not prevent us from having a great time in such a beautiful place.

• David (9/5): Nice apartment in the heart of Tirana - Comfortable and clean apartment at a great location. The staff was very helpful. We got plenty reccomendations of what to see Check-in took too long. We waited about 15 min for somebody to arrive. It would be better if it would be self checkin or that somebody would be waiting at the location at the agreed time.
• Moorhouse (10/5): Lovely, comfortable, affordable and ideal location - The room was lovely and comfortable and was only a 10 minute walk from the centre. We had to book this stay last minute and our host Ervis replied straight away and met us at the property. He recommended us some good local bars and restaurants and checked everything was okay with our stay at the end. We were very pleased! The room had good facilities and bottled water and tea was provided.

• Sal73x (10/5): Excellent location and property. - Very nice studio in excellent location with everything in walking distance. The property is in the centre of the city with bars, restaurants and shops within 5 minutes walk. Most monuments are within max 20 minutes walk including the bus station for the airport shuttle. Comfortable bed, clean and quiet as it overlooks the rear of the building (no traffic noise :). The host (Mira) was very friendly and helpful with good comms on Whatsapp. None. Everything good!
• Jessica (8/5): Great - Clean and well located apartment, close to all the sights of Tirana with everything you need for a few nights stay. Fatmira was a friendly and organised host who made check in really easy and had lots of helpful suggestions. Thank you Fatmira! The only things I would suggest are to add a bathroom shelf as the bathroom is small with nowhere to put your toothbrush, toothpaste etc. Someone also tried to enter our room in the night with a key, hopefully this was a confused guest of another room and it wouldn't stop me from staying again.

About the room: 1. it's one of the 3 rooms in the appartment 2. appartment is on the 5th floor, no lifts 3. overall, it is a bit run-down, eg toilet flush is broken 4. the place is managed by external agency On Booking it says that they accept card payments but day before they contacted me about “terminal problem” saying that only cash payment is possible. I didn’t see any trace of terminal in the apartment. Check in process was terrible. On the day prior to my arrival someone contacted me on whatsapp. I confirmed the exact hour of my arrival and I was told to wait at the steet before the building. When I arrived next day, I was on time, waiting and nobody was coming. Then I contacted them on whatsapp which cost me a huge roaming bill. Lady eventually came and she explained that regardless of agreeing meet up time, they don't come unless the client is already at the door and contacts them. There was a locker box next to apartment doors but apparently they choose to make the whole process unnecessary complicated.v

• Catherine (10/5): Beautiful apartment in an incredible location - we loved our stay! - Clean, comfortable and modern. Beautifully decorated room that felt super cosy. The bed and shower were great. Staff were super friendly and accommodated our request to extend our stay because we loved it so much. Great location just a short walk from all the best bars, restaurants and attractions. Bathroom products were run out. Apartment is on the very top floor (at least 8 flights of stairs) so be prepared for a climb if you have a large suitcase!
• Rodolfo (10/5): Awsome stay, at every level! - Everything and more. The hosts were amazingly helpful, allways there for any help or suggestion, out of normal, really. Very good option of shuttle from the airport to the apartment. The location was great, 5-10 minute walk to the city centre. Close to all types of stores. In terms of confort, everything was on point, very clean and cosy. Thanks for everything. Absolutely nothing to say.

• Stephanie (9/5): Very nice apartment - Fantastic location, very nice modern apartment with lots of space, shower was very nice too. No lift available so had to climb 5 flights of stairs, plus there was no toilet roll available.
• Nazife (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment seems a bit old but inside of it was amazing. It was so comfortable and we had rest peacefully. The worker/owner was so good too. We came at midnight and they send pictures and leave the key for us. Inside of the room, there was everything. Iron, machine, private bath. And it was so clean. Thanks ! 😍 Everything was good.

• Amy (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Tirana - This was the perfect place to stay for us in Tirana! The staff were really responsive and helpful, the room looked exactly like it does in the photos and is nicely furnished, everything was really clean, the bed was the comfiest we had all holiday, great location to get to all the sites and restaurants/bars, and it felt very safe. They also booked an airport shuttle for us for only €20 which was very prompt and removed any stress. Anybody with mobility issues should be aware that there are 5 flights of stairs but this was no issue for us! You can’t pay in Lek which was all we had. Only Euros or 5% charge on card so I would recommend having some euros before you arrive

• Szymon (8/5): Great location, good room, very nice hosts. One problem was promised to be solved. Hope they will. - Very good contact with the host. A lot of help with formal issues. He was quick to respond. Really GREAT! Very good location, downtown, but no parking, and on the street there are no places too. You need to think about 24h garage. Apartment with air conditioning, TV, comfortable large bed. Everything is good. Thank you. The bathroom lacks a shelf for toiletries, it was inconvenient. When we were there, was a problem with the sewage pipes. I'll skip the details, because I spoke to the host about it and he said he would take care of the problem. I hope that future guests will not have to experience this again.
• Adélaïde (7/5): Very nice staff and location. - They have been very flexible with us about adding a night. Very helpful and nice staff. The room included Netflix. The location is great, everything is near the flat. Nice decoration. The bed was inconfortable, we spent four nights and our back is painful but maybe for only one night it could be ok.

• Kübra (5/5): Passable - The people who helped us were very friendly and helpful. They helped us a lot in everything. it was in a good location. the apartment was on the last floor and there is no elevator. There was also a renovation in the apartment. this did not cause any problems. There were 2 more rooms in the apartment besides us. but it was okay. The biggest problem was in the bathroom. There was a very bad smell coming from the bathroom. and after a while the siphon in the bathroom broke. this was the big problem.
