- Clayton (1/5): SCAMMERS CASH ONLY TO AVOID TAXES - The location was good but we spent an entire day trying to figure out how to pull enough cash from different bank machines because the owner lives in the USA and is trying to avoid paying taxes.
It was a complete nightmare. We reported the owners to the city for doing this. The dishes were dirty, the bath/shower was chipped and missing the soap dish but the clip was still screwed into the wall. There was dust on things in the unit that must have been there for months. The pots and pans were in beyond disgusting condition so we did not cook in the unit and had to eat out at restaurants instead, which cost us even more money.
The condition of the deck was falling apart and not maintained, warped planks and screws coming out.
We are from Canada and the way we finally were able to pay was by contacting a family member in the USA to send them money through Zelle, but they wanted us to wire the funds which we tried but we're unsuccessful.
It was my family member in the USA that asked us to ask this couple who owner the unit if the accepted Zelle and finally paid for the unit the following day. We wasted more than a day of our 3 day vacation doing this.
When we contacted the owner and told her to see if the money had come through, she said yes and laughed at us.
Very unprofessional and a complete scammer accepting cash only when the website says they accept credit card as that's what we wanted to pay with.
I don't recommend renting from this scamming person and I would find somewhere else to rent instead.
To the owner all I can say is that we have reported you to the city and I hope they shut you down or fine you and audit you.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY WHILE ON VACATION IN BARILOCHE!!!!!!!!!
- Guneet (6/5): Good stay but can be better - The setup was great with very good views from the balcony. The apartment size was good. The wifi worked fine. The pool in the pictures is an oversell - its not clean or usable. There is no gym. The road to get here is unpaved. The facilities are a bit short vs. other comparable properties (soap, shampoo etc.)
- Ron (1/5): Not clean, a lot of bugs, avoid this place! - The view on the lake was beautiful, and there was parking available. That's it. 1. The room was full of spider webs, can sit on the porch because of it - the chairs was full of bugs.
2. The apartment has floor heating, which might sound good because the nights are cold BUT it heats the room like crazy! It was like a sauna in there. I was sweating 1 minutes after getting into the apartment. The hostess told us not to worry because we can open a window or two and the room gets a little better BUT there is a big catch - the moment you open a window, mosquitoes/bugs come in the apartment!
3. There is no soap or shampoo in the apartment. They don't provide it. We asked the hostess for shampoo and she kindly gave us some shampoo in plastic bags that last for 1 day, the rest we have bought in a supermarket. Take this into account.
4. The location is about 20-25 minutes by car from the city. At first I thought it was no problem, but after a while I understood the issue. Every morning in order to eat breakfast or you want to buy something in the evening you need to drive 50 minutes (to the city and back), and it's a pain. Take this into consideration.
5. Not sure if this is relevant, but the hostess insisted we'll pay in USD, although I asked to pay in Argentinan peso. Not a big deal a I agreed to it in advance but kind of annoying to be honest.
The hostess was really kind, it's really not something personal. It's just that the apartment doesn't worth the money or the time. My girlfriend was considering to sleep in the car because it was so hot in there. Plus the room is super not clean and I had to spend time killing bugs and mosquitoes every night before going to bed.
We were really surprised by this as we didn't see any review that talks about the heat problem or the bug problem, I don't know how could it be because we're not sensitive to heat or something like that.
Just go to another place... Sorry.
